🌟Celebrating 60 years today🌟 On December 8, 1962, Crystal Mountain opened for the first day of skiing with just two double chairlifts and a few rope tows. Built by skiers, this mountain is still home to many of the first generations and their descendants that flocked to the PNW in search of steep and deep terrain. Today we reflect on the history and connections here that sparked the beginnings of Crystal Mountain. Thank you to the entire Crystal community, guests and employees, for 60 years! 🎉

Happy 60th Crystal - I've skied your fabulous slopes for 50 years and enjoyed all the archival footage in this video. You forgot to mention Eddie Ferguson's summer freestyle camps up in Green Valley in the 70s, with a massive stereo blasting great tunes down into the valley from the Summit House - thems were some fine days.
