Hey! This is Ethan, and we need your help 🙂 We've created this survey forms.gle/8R8CKUe5azFQ8Jq28 to understand how we can make the best lessons on this podcast, and guide you on your English learning journey. Would you be able to respond to the questions? Thank you so much!
Thiago's method is really handy, valuable and easy to practice daily: 1. Understand the context 2. Learn the pronunciation 3. Learn the vocabulary that stands out to you 4. Better analyze the context 5. Contextualize in a real situation Sometimes I double-check if the word or expression is old-fashioned and if it collocates with other ones.
I've been watching this channel and The English With TV Series for so long, I acquire a lot of knowledge with those guys. Definitely I agree with Thiago in order to become your English better you need to learn through bite size chunks otherwise you'll only fighting hard e never get the waited results, I live in Brazil, and I get so happy when a Brazilian guy get successful as a person and as a English learner Thank you so much! I'll be here with you growing and seeing your growing!
Excellent episode, guys! I have never left any comments before, but now I feel like I have to share my emotions. You should keep doing this kind of analysis in your podcasts!
Thanks for your explanation of Thiago's method. I really appreciate it. I have watched many series/films in English and I have taken out a lot. I mean - words, phrases (memorizing that with Anki). So I believe I will use the Thiago's method too because I want to become fluent in English.
I was inspired by these two , ethan & thiago, both they are very good. They can give advise which is useful for us learners. They have been shared alot of lesson from thier podcast. I know , someday i could be like them, when i keep on practice speaking english daily. I would take thier good advice, and follow them. I could me more likely to speak in public when i become confident enough to speak in public. I just learning english for now, but i keep on improving daily
Hey ziacatubig, It's great to see you again! Thanks once again for your kind words. Remember - you're doing great already! Keep up the great work and soon you will become the confident and natural English speaking your aiming to be!
You can learn at home, but honestly, to me the best way is going to the country where the language is spoken👍 Because you don't have a break, all the time you are listening reading and speaking in the language, and this boost the process.
Totaly right... there were time in my life I was frustrated, but one day I dadided to continie learn more and more, watching tv shows and movies, I was practicing for long time exactly a year. And now I m working in a call center.
Thanks for the great lecture! Today I learned how to study English with Movies or TV series. Even though I watch a short clip, there will be something that I can take and even thought I watch a long clip, I'm going to extract one thing from it. I won't set an unrealistic goal. Thanks again.
I just wanted to say that it was absolutely amazing! The production quality, storytelling, and overall brilliance left me thoroughly impressed. Keep up the fantastic work! Sincerely, Gabriel. 😄
That’s right bro thanks for the clarification it’s helpful because that’s something almost every English learner have problems to understand and its something that motivates them
Hi there, i have been so happy with my daily podcast of you. So i would like to say thank you so much, your team is so amazing, i am gonna apply those tips to memorize easier new vocabulary. Bye
My tip to learn english by movies/tv series or videos in general is applying the Echos method which's basically listen to a word or phrase and let it 'echoing' in ur mind, then u talk it loud. I like to use this method in specific words that i find interesting, u can also use the tip that ethan told us about incorporate the sound by humming it mixed up with echos tecnique. Embody all of it and what thiago said likewise, im pretty sure that its enough to enhance your pronounce and your memorizing as well.
10:27. That's true. I remember when I was learning a new word in English and a woman said: This smartphone is Huuuge!" All the time when I recall this word to use it in a sentence, I aways say: "Huuuge".😂😂😂
I love this podcast and also the posters, TWD my fave! Actually my english improves watching the walking dead, and then I came here to improve it more, what a coincidence 😂
We’re glad that you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching our videos and learning with us! Don’t forget to subscribe and hit the bell so you don’t miss a single lesson!❤️

Hi, thanks for useful podcasts. I every Day listen to your podcasts and I think that they are helping me to improve my listening skills. I have one question. Is it good listen to podcasts rather than watch movies? Which is more useful to our listening
I usually make some shadowing with any parts of some series, but I choice just a little moment and try to repeat and speak like them. Thank you for All you guys saying, I'm obcessed with your videos hahaha Very good!
Hey! That's a interesting and relevant video. I dug up some useful tips from it. And I gonna to apply some in my daily practice routine. Actually, it rather that I will incorporate them in my current program. To be honest these days I am just enjoying my actual level while watching English series and movies. But from now one I will extract a sentence that I find cool and work on it. By the way, have you ever made a video lesson with "the mandalorian", maybe yes. It may seems redundant for you to make a video with a TV show you already used (sorry). I am watching it and I have found a lot of things to take away. Anyway, thanks a bunch for your great work!
Hey qandeelshri, a "shout out" is an expression used to publicly acknowledge or mention someone, often to show appreciation, give recognition, or simply to bring attention to them. It is a way of giving a positive or supportive mention to an individual, group, or organization. Thanks for your kind words and for learning with us. ❤❤
Good evening Ethan. I would like to make an important suggestion to create a playlist with all your videos listed with number in ascending order from first to last. Because I've been watching your videos from the oldest to the most current and I always get lost in the sequence when I go back to studying every now and then.
Hi everyone. When I heard it I thought I misinderstood: in one sitting, I thought that it was a translation from Portuguese (or Spanish) but it is English. we are always learning.
I always read novels getting new words. also, I listen to videos like podcasts to gain new words every day Step by step learning new words instead you trying to memorise ten words every day is better for you to learn three words every day.

Hello and excellent work! Is it normal to use so many parasitic words like "you know" while developing your thesis? This gives the impression that it's OK to talk that way.
