One of the most underrated channels on this platform, keep up the amazing work man. I’ve loved reptiles for a long time, been keeping them for 6 years and I’m now finally considering branching out into amphibians, I’ve always like frogs in particular but never really considered keeping any until recently. Seeing your amazing room, beautiful enclosures and frogs has really sparked that interest and inspiration to get out of my comfort zone and consider starting a new hobby alongside keeping reptiles. Best of both worlds!

Thanks for the update Troy, the tanks look great. I'd love to see a vid on how you mount all your bromeliads (especially if you have different methods), if you do one when you plant your new larger one. All the best to you and your family in 2020!
You went from 7k subscribers 2 years ago to 37k! That's crazy growth I'm glad I found your channel, yt algorithm recommended and I love seeing all of the dart frogs. I think if I went into amphibian keeping I would go tree frog or fire belly toads because they can eat larger prey than just fruit flies.
Thanks for posting. Long time subscriber. Just moved frogs into my sixth tank. What was that ''dirty frog'' at 18:27 ? Just couldn't make it out what you said.
Beautiful... I couldn't imagine the time invested into good husbandry of these delicate creatures! I've housed a few toads and newts and they were a lot of work. I guess that's why I currently have turtles :)
Happy Birthday and Thank you for sharing your frogs and knowledge with us. I'm a new sub and I look forward to seeing more videos. I've always wanted frogs but doing my research before jumping in. I currently have a trio of broad leaf tailed geckos. And approx 6 tank's ready to convert once I figure out what's next. Again thanks for sharing your frogs are beautiful. Happy New year and all the best!
Omg these frogs are amazing. I can't remember the last time i even saw a frog 'in the wild'. They were everywhere when i was a kid and just about every kid caught tadpoles (I would release them again) Sad they've all but dissapeared in many places.
Wow I love those vivariums! So beautiful. So nice with that natural look, I mean it's natural but when you zoom in it looks like when I was in Amazonas🌱🌿🐸. Do you think its possible to keep a Phyllomedusa bicolor in a vivarium? /Sebastian from sweden
New sub here. Really excellent info and format. You forgot to mention the "bioactive" word on an unnecessarily frequent basis. :-). Thanks! Wish you a Happy New Year and Bday.
Hi just after some advice I'm planning my first frog enclosure just one thing I'm unsure about I want to superglue java moss to a skull ( not a real skull) just for decoration would this be ok thank you
Sorry for bugging you troy about this. You have prolly heard a dozens times. What video of your has all the info, about The tanks for build materials you use. Thanks for your time have good safe day sir.
What was the name of the orange and black species at about 5 mins? I kept trying to listen to the name so I could look them up but I can't figure out how to spell it haha
Well if you are using foam straight onto glass, it's harder. But if you use a pocket knife you can easily remove it. Just do be careful, don't scratch the glass!
For a beginner how much does 1 setup for 1-4 frogs usually run USD with good quality everything? I know it can vary widely (will build the vivarium myself)
driftwood I get from this aquarium store by me... wood is definitely not cheap. . . bromeliads mount by just pressing the stolon into the foam, and bracing it with toothpicks til the roots establish... or if I mount them on wood, drill a hole in the wood and stick the bromeliad in
Thanks bro, yeah I mount my bromeliads into the foam background but I was wondering the easiest way to mount them to driftwood and spiderwood and such.
While watching this. The question of, "are dart frogs still poisonous in captivity?" Came to mind. Did some research and found out that they are not poisonous in captivity.
so basically, there's a really easy way to catch froglets with clear glass candy/cigar tubes.... so I catch them first then change the paper towels its really quite simple when u see it done.
Yeeeah.... to be fair my videos for the most part in the last were very low production and pretty much just uploaded directly from my phone... I’ve only been been editing and upping the production for about a year and a half
Troy Goldberg I meant you deserve more. Sure the production quality isn’t the best but people don’t come for the performance. They come for the setup. The content. The title. It’s like a phone. People buy it for the upgrade not the colour.
Thank you for this magnificent 3 am video, for I desire excuses to avoid sleep.
Hahahaha, I wanted to have the first Frogroom Tour of 2020 on TH-cam lol

Cool video. I have some photos of some pumilio from Bastimentos that have the same white feet as your unknown locale. Maybe the same spot?
Possibly but many of the frogs in bastimentos have the white feet
Happy birthday!!! 🎉 🎁🎆

Kick ass frog room
D azureus is my personal favourite!
Where do you get the broms and moss. All looks excellent
Does anyone know what kind of philodendron that is growing up the side of the glass at 20:10?
Is there a guide on how to make those awesome backgrounds?
Yes go to my channel and you’ll see there’s a video on how to make a background like a pro!
What kind of lighting do you use? Your plants look so healthy. Also where do you get your tanks? 🙏🙏
CLIFT he makes his own tanks. I believe he has a video showing how.
@@bssknox1 oh ok thanks
yep home made tanks, lighting is LED shop lights
@@TroyGoldberg thanks man now if only I knew where to buy glass

Thank you! Yes many people giant waxys
9:04 What is the plant with the "big" leaves on the bottom left of the Bullseye tank?
It seems a philodendrum to me but looking forward for Troy's response
Yeah it’s an philo, I’m honestly not sure on the actual name though
New sub here. Really excellent info and format. You forgot to mention the "bioactive" word on an unnecessarily frequent basis. :-). Thanks! Wish you a Happy New Year and Bday.
Hahaha I wonder if I’ve ever seriously used the word bioactive in my videos lol
Happy new year! May you have a good 2020 as 2019 has been for you.
Thank you!! Same to you!
How do you control the temperature of the breeding room?
What is the temperature difference between morning and night?
Make more videos man I can definitely see your channel blowing up in 2020
Nice tour =) What temp range do you keep your frogs ?
Hi just after some advice I'm planning my first frog enclosure just one thing I'm unsure about I want to superglue java moss to a skull ( not a real skull) just for decoration would this be ok thank you

@@TroyGoldberg yes sir I found it. Thanks for your time to reply back

The #1 Kill Joy subtitles say Bahia solano
yes I think you're referring to Bahia Solano
5:40 What is that leafy plant growing on the background of you enclosure?
Marcgravia rectiflora
Just subscribed
How do you secure your bromeliads?
What is the most common size of vivarium used in the frog room? 18x18x24?
22x17x24
Thank you. The depth just seems more then 17. Must be an illusion from making a beautiful landscape.
Where do you get your plants and mosses?
Omg how did I miss this initial upload! Damn youtube lol. Those are siiiiiiiick setups!
is the expanding foam easy to remove from the glass , if teardown would to be happened ?, seen many video on setup but no teardown videos
Well if you are using foam straight onto glass, it's harder. But if you use a pocket knife you can easily remove it. Just do be careful, don't scratch the glass!
Hi Troy. Just getting into it. Do you sell your frogs?
Do you use uvb?
On some of the large obligates species i do use uvb... occasionally...that’s a whole nother video though lol
what size are these tanks on average?
Majority of them are 22x17x24” roughly 39 gallons, and the large ones are 44x17x24 roughly 78 gallons.
@@TroyGoldberg Thanks so much
Please reply I just started watching your videos and I’m hooked
For a beginner how much does 1 setup for 1-4 frogs usually run USD with good quality everything? I know it can vary widely (will build the vivarium myself)
Love it 🙌🏽
What do u feed ur frogs
Mainly flightless fruit flys, but also fruit fly larvae, spring tails, they also eat micro fauna in the tanks such as mites, and baby isopods
How do you mount your bromeliads bro? And where do you get your driftwood, so many place seem to be over priced.
driftwood I get from this aquarium store by me... wood is definitely not cheap. . . bromeliads mount by just pressing the stolon into the foam, and bracing it with toothpicks til the roots establish... or if I mount them on wood, drill a hole in the wood and stick the bromeliad in
Thanks bro, yeah I mount my bromeliads into the foam background but I was wondering the easiest way to mount them to driftwood and spiderwood and such.
Matthew Slager yeah man just drill a into the driftwood itself and insert stolon...
Thanks appreciate it, do amazing work.
Where do u purchase your frogs
friends and breeders
Do you have anything other than frogs?, by the way, beutiful man, great job
While watching this. The question of, "are dart frogs still poisonous in captivity?" Came to mind.
Did some research and found out that they are not poisonous in captivity.
Correct, they acquire their toxins from the bugs they eat in their natural environment.
Happy new year 2020😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
My dream room💯🥺
Awsome frog room I just sub’d (:
How u change the paper on those small cups without losing any frogs ?? 😂
so basically, there's a really easy way to catch froglets with clear glass candy/cigar tubes.... so I catch them first then change the paper towels its really quite simple when u see it done.
Each of the tanks are cubes...... A room is a cube..... You should turn the entire room into a dart frog terrarium 🤯
오~~개구리~~🤗
How often should I mist my tank?
it all depends on the humid in the actual room that the tank is in, also depends on how much air circulation the tank has
💜👍
I have a red eyed tree frog
Muy lindos terrarios, pero el diseño que usan en Norteamérica y parte de Europa es siempre el mismo. Sería interesante ver innovación en esto.
Anyone recognize the intro music as early Mac Miller "Love My Name" ?
10 year’s and only 8 thousand?!
