In order of greatness, it goes Vacation, Christmas Vacation, European Vacation and then Vegas Vacation. The new Vacation movie was very disappointing - with a mean spirited kid pretty much wrecking the whole thing.

i remember my father mentioning buying a car and he asked what his trade in was worth and the dealer said he wouldn't charge dad anything for having it towed off the lot.

Lots of actors prefer to play characters the opposite of their real personality because, in the words of Dabney Coleman, they "know what the opposite is." Coleman is known to play shallow, selfish narcissists, but in real life is anything but.
Fletch was. So was the vastly underappreciated Seems Like Old Times, & Funny Farm. I like Caddyshack, but am among the minority that thinks it’s nowhere near deserving of the praise it gets.
We used to have a Big Badass 60-70ish model Buick LeSabre that would do that sputtering jazz, after filling it with Pemex fuel in Mexico. Big heavy land yacht. 80s era memories.
Wow, a Vista Cruiser, how lucky was Clark, an Olds 442 in Station Wagon form, my Moms car growing up. She loved that car, because when you stepped on the gas it went!

Well, thankfully, that’s not the case. Since PAC-Man and Asteroids were amongst the best 80s games, their popularity remains and people from multiple generations will still be able to recognize them. Mario was also an 80s game, but its legacy permitted it to be exposed to even the youngest of children.

If any one is wondering the video game console is a Bally Astrocade and the computer looks like an Apple // plus.The Astrocade is an underappreciated classic. It even has a Basic cartridge for making basic games and programs on the little keypad and can save them to cassette.
I thought it was a Fairchild Channel F until i seen the game box and they showed the front of it. This is one of the few systems I don't own - never seen one out pillaging garage sales. I think I own some games for it though.

The early 70s Cutlass Wagon was far superior to any car available new in the neoMalaise era...especially as this is a Chrysler dealer with the cars in the background...all the 80s K Car variants like the Town and Country compact wagon.
I couldn't tell if this was just bad directing or if it was just Clark being clark, like he's forgetting to put them in the dishwasher, that's open, right underneath where he is putting the plates.
