The seas were flat by the following morning and the storm was over.

@@sandpit72 Big plans apartmemts & four x 4 bedroomed detached houses. Larger car park, loos and cafe - with expansion if it takes off. Pity if there is no car park this year - a bit of mess

Years ago had cream teas in the cafe that was, in the house right on the sea edge. I lived in Braunton at the time.

That cottage right on the front I've always wanted to rent that when there was a big storm on the way I believe you can still rent it
I would worry about living in those cottages so close to the sea
Stayed here on holiday the weather was calmer 🙃
