Baby Seal Drags Bucket

- Unbelievable! The line was so tight around the seal’s neck and not cutting it yet. Seeing the seal fill up with air after the last line was cut was such a huge relief. There are many reasons why this seal would not have made it back to shore, for example, with water getting in the bucket, etc. Every time we find such mind-boggling entanglements, it raises immense concern about how many animals never make it, so this baby seal is really lucky.

😢💔💔💔😭
❤ I'm so proud of you 🙏🙏🙏🥰
He would have drowned for sure dragging that bucket
Here is a fund raiser idea... has anyone ever thought about making a video game of this?
Poor seal 😢
That bucket was too heavy for the seal to drag through the sand for long, but can you imagine how heavy it must have been, filled with water, when he was trying to swim? And the rope/line twisting more and more tightly around his neck, cutting off his air.... He didn't have much time left, thank you for saving him!🙏❤
Having built sandcastles with grandchildren for years I can attest you are so correct. Even little buckets filled with wet sand are heavier than you would think
Yes. That’s why I just contributed financially to them. Did you?
@@internetpolification who TF cares what you do with your money Bruh. Learn some humility ffs!
The recipients of the money care, that’s for sure, mate. Talks cheap. Money counts. So…to you and anyone rise waxing eloquently re the rescues, my advice is…donate a. Small amount. Same goes for you, big mouth
I think if he went into the water with the bucket, he most probably would have drowned as it will be to heavy for him to surface again.
Bless you folks.
😪No way the pup dragging that bucket behind him would have had a chance to survive in the water. Thanks OCN-team, for saving these two pups' lives!❤️🦭👏
Well she survived long enough to get that big, but I understand what you mean. She was definitely a fighter, she is no doubt doing well now. 💪♥
Как хорошо, что есть такая команда, которая поможет и спасёт! Люблю вас всех! Спасибо за каждого!
Thank you all! Such lucky, happy little pups. That bucket was one of the deadliest I've seen you do! Great team work.
That is so heart breaking how that little baby dragging the heavy thing around.. Thank God for these men .
Спасибо за спасение и любовь к животным,Вы Рыцари Добра!Ласковые слова Тони так греют и наши души!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can you imagine the the horror of the drag caused by the bucket and then it spinning and spinning tightening the noose around your neck, poor little one! Your nightmare is over, team OCN has relieved you of your death trap. Thank you guys❤❤❤❤
😔
The little one dragging the bucket was so relieved and definitely seemed to understand he needed help and excepted it graciously.
More likely just giving up.
Those seals are only animals and cannot think.
If they could, we wouldn't need OCN.
@@marcos.1771 I think that you gave up the need to think. Cuz that’s thee most asinine assertion ever.
@@hoosierbaddy3052 How do you know that seals can think?
Perhaps you should try it yourself some time soon.
Just for fun.
The same way octopus and dolphins are whales and orca can't think either, right? All animals can think. You're confusing thinking with doing for themselves in this situation.
Thanks guys, it looked like that seal was dragging a death sentence.
#1 seal didn't have much time left, and what a horrible mess it had to deal with. #2 was another one of those ball lines that also would have lead to it's demise the way it was wrapped around the body. Thank you OCN for saving these babies, and talking to them in a way to help calm them down is always so cute!
As someone with asthma, I know what the seals feel when they are able to breathe freely 😢😅😊 Thank you for y’all’s unswerving efforts to helping seals and other wildlife. Have a wonderful and safe, healthy holiday season 😊❤
Oh my goodness, how on earth did that poor little seal drag that bucket around? That rope was so tight around its neck, you could see it expand when you cut it. Well done, guys, I don't know how much longer that baby seal could have survived. Another great rescue, a really good job.👍👍
WOW. That poor pup dragging a bucket the same size as he is; I’m going to remember this rescue forever. Thank goodness you found him. And Wally, when you’re looking for something it’s usually right in front of you, like not finding the milk in the refrigerator! 😄

Insane and so heart breaking
This is no Hollywood movie this is real life. Much love to OCN.
It sure was this seals lucky day!! Imagine trying to swim with a bucket full of water around your neck. 🧜🏽♀💜🦭
Insane and so heart breaking
That poor seal didn't give you his "seal if approval," but those of us watching sure do. If that baby managed to get away from ya'll, he would have drowned due to the weight of that bucket working like an anchor. Great "catch"!😅😂❤
I’ve been watching these heroes of the sea life for years and keep wondering when they will give up on the endless need for saving seals from ghost gear entanglements. But they persist, with skill and empathy week after week, year after year. So grateful
Низкий поклон от меня, за всех-всех-всех спасённых животных. СПАСИБО🙏💕
O
It's unbelievable that the seal with the bucket survived at all! Thank God he did! Thank you OCN! We love and appreciate you!🦭🙏♥️🇺🇲
Thank you my heroes for saving his life ❤️ greetings to all 😊🙋🏻
THANK YOU to the entire OCN Team for everything you do to release the seals from those dangerous entanglements!
👍
You, too, can help. On your neighborhood and nature walks, when you see rope or strings or bags, pick them up. As stated clearly in 'Finding Nemo', "All drains lead to the ocean".
Watched Seaspiracy last night--heartbreaking! Thank you all for helping fix this mess we've made of the oceans
Well done. Two more little lives saved. ❤
Omg that bucket. And the strangling rope. My heart is so broken for all the creatures of the sea. 😭💔❤️🩹
😔
Thank you for the work you do. Its interesting and helps to inform the public what these animals go through just to survive.
I hope it also encourages you to be more mindful of the stuff you throw away. I show these videos to the kids around here and they love seeing all the seals, but like any good person, they feel awful seeing them wrapped up in these things. I tell them "You can help prevent it by cutting up long cords, not using the ground as a garbage can, and recycling properly!" and I hope it helps make an impact.
Seal #1 took off for the water like a bullet after you freed him! Thanks, team!👏
Rescueing seals and working on condition as well. 😊 great job. Thanks a lot from Belgium. 😃
Bucket Boy waited so patiently for the team to start their removal of his entanglement that he looked like a dog on a leash-a deadly leash. Water baby knew he had to make it to the water before capture because he knew how much Tony LOVES working with a wet net!😅
That deep breath must have felt like a miracle for that seal. Seal #2 was totally entangled. Fantastic rescues.
You are real heroes! This young seal really owes his life to you!
These two are really going to have a better day !!!
The things those little guys pickup . Its a miracle they make it out of the water. Strong to be pulling a bucket around. Thank you for saving them.❤
Biedny maluch bez was by dlugo nie przezyl dziekuje w jego imieniu 😢😢😢
Can't even imagine what that was like for that poor seal dragging a bucket, filling up with sand on the beach and water in the ocean, dragging on him all the time, slowly choking him. Just awful. Very thankful you managed to save both targets you'd identified. Thank you OCN!
Не могу остановится смотреть их добрые видео.❤
😮😟😲😳😱 thats a deffo for the WTF list!!!! Poor bubba 😢 had no chance. Love the way Antoine always asks them what they've found 😊 How much cutting to get that damn thing off!!! And the first unrestricted breath eh...... 2nd pup was a quicker save and both went off to the ocean happier for sure. Thanks one & all 👊👊👊👊
I can see that bucket spining as hes swimming, wouldn't be very long before it had chocked him out. Good save , lucky seal. Have a great day guys!
Aw, poor loves, so pleased you could help these two
Эту боль от сетки или от проволоки , я ощущаю на себе. Низкий поклон вам ребята ..❤❤❤
These accents, like them so much.
Eure Aktionen sind immer so Fantastisch und Erfolgreich. Danke OCN-Team, vor allem aber ein Danke für den kleinen Kerl der diese elende Schale mit sich rumgeschleppt hat.
Seal Savers = we find 'em, we fix 'em - congrats on two more to your rather large catalogue - cheers to all the team.
It's like the chains forged by Jacob Marley!!! Thanks OCN for rescuing these two guys. ❤
Just when you’ve seen it all
You find a pup dragging a bucket for gods sake!!! Bless him……it’s all horrible of course but that was bad! Well done guys🎉❤!!!

I could see the release of tension on that last snip of bucket line.. it was going to twist and kill.. thank goodness she’s free.. Thank you guys..!! 💙🦭💦
Looked to be a heavy bucket. How did that little guy pull that around?! Amazing!!! His life will better now!❤
When you guys look in the mirror I hope you are very proud of what you see. Thank you so much for your tireless efforts in saving these animals.
Congratulations on yet another amazing job. Your doing work that should be paid for by the fishing industry.
If a can of fish said "We support

Best rescue group here. Wally, Antonie and Kat are the best group to watch. They communicate and work together so well.
Don't forget Nauke.
That poor baby seal. That bucket must have felt like dragging a ton through the water. Like you hot him/her.❤❤😊
2 great catches. Omg!! That poor seal dragging around a bucket. Thank you for finding them.
Pity those who throw the trash in the ocean. A big thank you, bro.
I would NOT pity those who use the oceans as trash❣️😡❣️
@@SonnetsMom it is individuals thinking.
They get so heavy when they enter the water and you have to drag them up. I think the first pup is a first though. Have we had a video with a bucket rescue yet. Im sure the team has had buckets earlier of course. Anyway well done.
Poor little greedy seal went for the biggest toy he could find and ended up getting choked! Thanks for the rescue!
That little one wouldn’t have lasted long with the bucket filling with water weighing him down. Thank you team! ❤️
Dragging the bucket behind him slowed him down, trying to catch the fish would have been awkward for him, he probably wouldn't have survived for very long. Thankyou OCN. 😥💝🏴
That poor little pup dragging a bucket around by his neck, thank goodness he was spotted. I can’t imagine him trying to swim. It was both seals lucky day. Big thank you gentlemen of the sea.♥️🦭🌊
Brilliant teamwork. These men are in top physical shape. Amazing work. Thank you.
The resistance from the bucket must have been terrible 😢
This just speaks to how strong the will to survive is. ♥️ Much love!
Entre tanta guerra y malas noticias que se ven, es muy reconfortante para el alma saber que hay personas como ustedes que hacen el bien, buscan mejorar un poco este mundo en destrucción...Que papá Dios los bendiga y los llene de salud
I agree with every word, well said!
What is wrong with people? Surely they know the danger they are putting these poor babies in? Will we ever learn? Bless you guys. ❤❤
Cutest thumbnail. Poor baby. Great job guys.
I am quite surprised about the seal that had the bucket that he/she did not drown. I liked when the seal was able to move more quickly when the extra weight was removed. The second seal was able to breathe after that entanglement was removed from the body. Thank you! 😊
Wow, that poor seal towing that bucket around. Thankfully you were all there to rescue him. Wonderful work! ❤️
Hi all!
The seal doesn't need a bucket, the poor guy couldn't breathe.
The second seal managed to deceive one rescuer, but Aquaman caught up with him near the water)) Both seals were very lucky, may they live long now!

You are all so amazing. The kindness you show these beautiful seals. I can't stop watching. God bless you all.
We are unfortunately not solving the problem, but only treating the symptoms of the plastic crisis with our rescues. The goal of these videos is to show the consequences of this pollution and create a change to tackle its roots - namely our addiction to single-use plastics, the lack of law enforcement at sea, and the shortcomings of the recycling industry.
Poor babies free now. Thank you. 🙏💙
"The surveval rate of fur seals entangled in light marine litter is about half that of non-entangled ones." ...and in pain.
The OCN team are true nature heroes. It is not enough to just thank them, we must also support them.
🙏🦭🥰❣️🙏
A rare circumstance where we could see the entangled pup, but the rescuer lost it in the stampede. Really brings to light how keen eyed they all are.
You guys have been doing this for years but never seem to run out of seals to rescue from entanglement, I wonder if its only the one or two beaches you work on, those poor seals must swim in waters that seems to be made of spaghetti. Good work guys 👍 but also sad that you have to keep doing this.
Ironically, in Italian “spaghetti” means “strings.” And it’s strings that are entangling and strangling so many..
Your patience in finding every loop of line is admirable. What a rewarding task on such a gloomy day ❤
👍
I love watching these resuces & others like this. They're such a fantastic selfless group that go way out of their way to save lives. I think they're an awesome bunch.
Another life saved. Thank you ❤
You guys are so fast and observant. You all are the best. Thankyou for saving so many of God's creatures.
This is a skill we wish we never had to develop, but we are unfortunately very experienced by now.
WOW - 2 dramatic rescues. The bucket 'anchor' was brutal. Thank you for your care of the seals!
Great job they do.
God bless them.🌹
Insanity! Poor seal! Nice seal save!
👍
Both those seals had to be thinking "Yay, I'm free!" as they ran off to the water. Thank you OCN so very, very, much.
Those seals can really get into some predicaments! So good to see them take a healthy breath of air once you all perform your "surgery" on them. As always, thanks for all u do! ❤
🥺 sadly, these beautiful puppers are dealing with life-threatening entanglements in their home, the sea, due to Man’s flamboyant disregard in using the sea as a garbage dump .. intentionally and unintentionally 😡🥺😡
I can't imagine swimming with that bucket. I'm surprised he lived long enough for you guys to rescue him 😢
I'm thankful you were able to save them both ❤
How do you identify what types of fishing lines they're entangled in so easily? The crimps were mentioned this time but they all look the same to me. It's really impressive.
Unfortunately, we are by now very experienced by now.
Amazing rescue❤
Ребята, вы просто прелесть, молодцы! ❤❤❤
Красивая работа!!❤👍👍👍👍👍
Beautiful rescues guys. You can see how that bucket and line kept twisting around and getting tighter and tighter on that poor seals neck. Thank goodness for your rescue work. I loved the "Yay" when the seal with the bucket was released. Two lives saved.🦭🦭🌊💖
Ratunek w ostatniej chwili 👏
You have done so much to sharpen our awareness of this critical issue. Have you compiled all the entanglements you have rescued seals from? It would be interesting to see and a a good visual for further education. The seal dragging the bucket, because of the amount of entanglement, really brought that home. Just unbelievable. You guys are the best. Thank you for all you do.
They save every speck of it. And one group makes bracelets out of some of it, and you can buy them, OCN has the link It all has to be kept from ever going back into the environment. Some of it was made into a sculpture, it’s one of their videos.
As usual another nice rescue. Team stay safe and healthy the little guys depend on your help.
God bless
Keep up this fantastic job you are doing to save the seals.😃💜👍👍👍
