Having bikes platina, r15 ,and fzs25 bs6 but as living in mumbai I used to daily travel from nallasopara to mulund doing r&D for so many months at last fzs25 is best very practical versatile machine I considered fz25 for occasionally touring and commuting as it is zero maintenance bike as simple air oil cooled engine as compression ratio is low as 250cc dilivers 20.8 ps and 20nm torque which is balanced dilvers decent mileage better power to weight ratio great wide torque band frequent gear change 5th gear is tall as riding at 100kmph rpm is at 6500 rpm r15 having 6th gear does same in 7500rpm but r15 has poor torque in city as compared to fz25 but on highway r15 has better top end but not practical as it will take enough strech to overtake fz25 in real world conditions so if u don't want fancy features want decent performance and practical motorcycle then only go for fz25 as if only top speed and power is requirment there are plenty of options in 250 cc quarter liter segment.

@@RidingSoulRVhi guys, i am from Vietnam, i've already watched so many videos about fz25. In my country, some small companies imported fz25 so just a very small number of these bikes were in Vietnam. Now, i am going to buy an old fz25 ( date 2018, odo 10.000 km). Honestly, after the pandemic, I do not have a stable financial condition as before. However riding bike may be the only thing making me feel good after a long working day.
I truly appreciate your effort in doing such contents like this. In Vietnam, most bikers tend to choose the fancy ones. But, I really pay attention to the practical things like the maintenance fee ...so on. We can keep the bikes if we cannot afford them. May i have ur Facebook? Cause i truly wanna share and learn things about this bike.
One more question, are there any big differences between the fz25 2018 and fz25 bs16.

FZs v4 150cc has traction control, Bluetooth features,Mt 15 meter console😂 and many many features like avg mileage, avg speed ,e lock,led indicators

I bought my r15 back in 2015 without thinking about its practicality,and then I had to sell it in 2022 with just 20k on the odo,and then I got the fz25 bs6 and life has been easier since then

Which bike would you recommend today in 2024 to buy in place of FZ25 as yamaha has discontinued the fz25 as it can't comply with BS6 phase 2 norms.
I ride a used 2017 gixxer 155 dual disc brake version and i feel the lack of ABS while braking.
Honda CB300F doesn't have refinement like FZ25 and can't be serviced at regular Honda service centre
Bajaj pulsar N250 has skinny wheels and its not stable at high speeds.
Gixxer 250 naked is great but too expensive now with addition of useless Ride connect feature.
RE Hunter 350 is lovely 😍 but has kow ground clearance and hard clutch . I can live with the hard clutch but the ground clearance is only 150mm i.e. 10mm less than my Gixxer 155.
Tell me which bike should i get out of these?
Hi bro... you have to decide what are must have and what are things you can live with then decide.....if you can manage with ground clearance and hard clutch then go for RE. if cost is the only factor for Gixxer 250 then wait for sometime collect money and then buy no need to make hurry on your dreams

Don't know about your fz25 but I sometimes regret buying fz25.
Engine is not that refined. I hate tappet noise.
Manoj bhai .. cannot help tappet noise.. you can do the setting but there is no permanent solution to it. We have to live with this. You won't hate it when you start ignoring it thats what I have done. Engine is refined but you feel vibration at points at particular RPM.

मेरे पास भी है़ fz25 2021 वो भी second hand , एक नाटा बंदा ने खरीदा था उसका hight कम होने के चलते इसे बेचा ये हमने एक लाख 5 हजार मे लिया , इसके अलावे मेरे पास meteor भी है़ वो भी 2021 का fz चलाने के बाद meteor चलाने का मूड नही करता , गाड़ी एक नंबर मै handel raisar लूमिया का मंगवा राहा हूँ 1800 बताया milage 42 से 45 दे राहा

bhai mileage cannot be same all the time. It depends on many factors like traffic, speed, tyre pressure and so on. that's why I always tell a range. Generally 40 kmpl is the average I get most of the time.

Yes bhai .. it’s one of the balanced practical combination available in Indian market.
Want to buy an FZ25 but it doesn't have enough power like Gixxer 250 and 6th gear which gives you a more relaxed cruising speed at 100+ kmph.
But also don't want to buy Gixxer 250 due to SUZUKI's after-sales service and spare parts unavailability.
I wish YAMAHA updates FZ25 soon to do head-to-head competition with other bikes available in the market.🤞
100-110 kmph you can ride it.. I have done that…take a test ride and then decide..also there are many bikes going to be launched in 2023 hope there would be any which meets your need.

Bhai both the bikes are good. First take test ride first of both the bikes and see what you feel. Generally in long term Yamaha gives better reliability and value over years. This I am saying based on feedback received. So make the choice accordingly considering all parameters

Bhai I would advise you to take test ride of both the bikes and decide based on your needs. waise dono bikes ka engine bht achha hai.. but maintenance, overall cost k hisab se FZ25 jaada value for money product hai.

how much your bike km has done? any major part changes yet? any starting related issue yet? throttle body cleaned? 🤔
Bhai it's almost 42,000 kms done. I have done throttle body and FI cleaning at around 35,000 kms. Bike starts properly. Major issue I faced during Ladakh trip where coil burnt which causes bike battery not to charge.

FZ is a practical bike with straight line stability and most practical and usable bike 👍🏻
Sensible bike bhai ..doing best as per Indian customer needs.
It’s a Good Practical Bike have bs6 model and riding it for a year now…Good Mileage, Very Nimble and a No-nonsense Bike..One area of improvement would be little increase in power so that all day we can cruise at 110 kms on highway…right now it effortlessly reach 90 but beyond that u need to work it up to rch 100 or 105.
yes bhai... brilliantly meeting Indian needs... definitely small tweaking to its different aspects can make this bike unbeatable.
My last major service at service center cost me 9100(disc change, clutch plates change, bearings cables etc) 😉. A duke 390 (except for mileage) Is cheaper to maintain.
bhai... that's not a normal service.. You are replacing a lot of expensive items .. if you compare the spare parts cost you will find duke has expensive parts compare to FZ25.

Yes bhai .. I would have considered… my close friends have pulsar series bike … and they don’t have good experience with the series over the years in terms of quality… that’s why I haven’t considered… dont think I don’t like it … just sharing the experience don’t take it otherwise
