Seat size, comfort, mileage, sound, lights, handling, all's good & best. Riding posture is also impressive. Tyre size is good. I love this bike
It's been 3 years with this bike and I must say its fuel economy is excellent. It never betrayed me even if there was very little fuel in the tank. Proud owner of FZ-25 ❤️
i completed spiti circuit last year, It performed really well and with pillion. only issue with ground clearance only with pillion. The torque is just awesome and bike keep pulling.
For a person like me who rides mostly only in city I'm happy there is no 6th gear otherwise there would be a lot of gearshifts constantly, 5 gears are perfect for city use.

Nice review. I too own this bike's bs6 moto GP edition after my bs4 moto GP edition got stolen. On the bs4 version a little bit of rusting issue was there but have not experienced on the bs6 version. Your bike appears to have been primarily used in coastal area (near the sea) maybe.
Thank you bhai .. yes I live in Mumbai which is located on coastal area. Rusting issue is related to quality because I too have FZS 153cc 2013 model and it’s silencer still in good shape than 3 years old FZ25 bike.

Hi bhai … grip on road is awesome .. it sticks on the road completely thanks to its design, weight and Center of gravity. Vibration in bike is there when you are riding 100+ kmph but that’s manageable. Bike feels very stable at that speed too
Thanks bhai for sharing your honest video. Why Yamaha didn't provide gear position indicator on FZS25/FZ25 . This is a basic thing which is missing from the bike otherwise i would have booked it right away. I am going for either gixxer 250 or hornet 2.0.
Hi Sandeep bhai … adding one more gear may require more mechanical changes in current engine which eventually increases the cost of vehicle. Power gear ratio in this bike is such that you can easily ride in triple digits constantly. More advance technology makes bike more costly. If you are good with that then definitely go for other bikes in the same segment.
Gear position indicator is really not required bro. Once you got adapted for any bike, engine grunt , speed and rev range will subconsciously let you know which gear you are and that's how you should be. No need depend on console readings.
Why do you need gear indicator, you will know which gear are you in while riding the bike right!? The FZ25 is Pure RAW, no need of extra unnecessary things, bike is just perfect. Mininum electronics, more of style and pure power. You can ride at 100 all day along.
I agree with the above comments.. I learned to drive with my dad's old splendor. My first bike was a then-newly launched 200NS. I have driven Triumph Street Triple, Z900, multiple HDs. Never felt the need to know what gear I was in. I knew when I needed to change based on RPMs and throttle input. Even noise is not required. You can definitely learn to do this and not rely on auxiliary info. Trust your body.

Hi Abhijeet bhai.. for me relax cruising speed on this bike is 85-95 kmph. You can easily go on triple digits and ride comfortably but I personally prefer to ride in 85-95 kmph range.

I'm using Castrol power 1 from long time. And it is much better than yamahalube. I never used motul, Please compare and share your experience. Require oil change at around 2800 km.
Agree with your evaluation. It's a relatively affordable touring option. My question is did you consider Xpulse 200? I waited for 6 months for the Xpulse 200 but it was unavailable due to covid. Finally purchased Fz25 but do you think Xpulse is a better option for ladakh like tours?
Bhai …Xpulse was not there when I bought my bike.. it launched after that.. also xpulse is bit taller bike for me as I am short guy.. so I would have not chosen even it was available. Xpulse will give you better adventure experience in Ladakh because it has adventure motorcycle stance. But Ladakh test riders more than their bikes.

I am still surprised to see people choosing bikes just because of how they look...... years ago Hero launched Impulse and everyone went crazy saying this is the best bike for off Roading, leh Ladakh tours and what nots... Eventually the bike wasn't much of a success and people forgot it....Hero impulse on the same lines as per me...... The bike has to be practical rather than good looking.....as looks can be deceiving

( Around 2500 me ..... 6000 Vali service dete hai .... 🔥) One's u ride this u definitely fall in love with this bike 🔥 My friend told me mileage like At 50-70 speed ......... 40 kmpl 80 to 100 speed ....... 34 kmpl 100 to 120 speed ....... 30 kmpl After 125 speed bike starts climbing RPM 7k to up ...... And gives 25 kmpl If u ride like full on rush ..... Then gives 25 kmpl least mileage........ At the same rush and same performance KTM 250 mileage will be drop like 15 kmpl ( to samaj lo aap 😀) Honda is Honda 🔥 Hope Honda will not discontinue this bike like CBR250R in future 🙄

Nice video as usual ❤️ Mine has done 25K in the last 2 years. I do agree with what you said. It's a fantastic bike even with it's cons. There's no need for a 6th gear as it reaches its peak at 5th itself. Plus if there was a 6th gear the ratio would be the same and short so you'll feel like you need another gear 😂. Couple of things i noticed. 1. Had to change the rear brakes 4 times in the last 25K. Rear pad wears out a lot quicker for me. ( I think it's coz my feet rests on the pedal ) 2. Tappet noise is real and it's something you learn to live with. It's not a sign of any issue or problem with the engine. It's a sign that it's working properly. 3. My instrument cluster switch broke off and now I don't have a button to change the options. (So if you have the BS6 version, be mindful of that. The switch doesn't come seperately, you'll have to change the cluster and it will reset the odo). 4. 100 -110 is a breeze on this bike but after 120 it struggles. Don't try it on busy roads. Also RV bhai. Please if you can share the link to the accessories you have would be helpful. Thanks ❤️

Hi brother… FZ25 2022 doesn’t get any major updates.. few cosmetic changes only than previous one. This bike is reliable and good for Indian road condition including every terrain Indian has and there is no perfect bike… You can take the test ride and choose it if it best match to your needs.
Few showrooms may not provide test ride.. but there would definitely big authorised dealers who provide.. you need to enquire your near by areas or if any friend of yours owns it then give it a try
Bhai in terms of comfort and overall riding experience I prefer FZ25 over MT15. Also it has bigger engine so engine will be more relax... apart from this you can use both the bike for ladakh.. you might need some cushion for your butt in MT15.

Hi Sis, FZ25 ka 2018 model single channel ABS hai . means usme sirf front tyre main ABS hai... rear tyre main nhi hai ... jaada safety dual channel ABS main hoti hai usme front & rear dono main ABS plate.. jo tyre ko lock nhi hone deta.. emergency agar brake apply karte hai. so ek point dhyaan rakhna hai.... price to sahi hai .. agar thoda kam aur ho jaaye.. to try karna.. baaki kuchh points ka dhyaan rakhna 1. Any rust on any part jo almost damage ho gya ho 2. Any accident of the bike means handle bobbling issue, alignment ye sab check karne bolna 3. Any previous challan 4. PUC and Insurance valid hona chahiye 5. Agar koi part replace kiya hai to original tha ya local 6. Mileage kitna de rhi hai .. agar bht achhi condition main hogi to uska mileage 32+ kmpl arram se hoga 7. Chain sprocket, swing arm damage check kar lena Hopefully that would be helpful.

Hi Manthesh bhai … Thank you for the appreciation. Hope bike is in good shape if so, deal amount is reasonable. Bike has good initial torque which can easily pull you with limited luggage… even with the pillion where both the riders are over 140 kg of weight… so you should be good with the bike performance.

aerodynamic wise this is good bike.. this bike has upright posture so it's comfortable for long ride specially on highway. Still I would advise you to take a test ride for some kms to see your compatibility with bike.
Hi bro recently I bought second hand Fz 25 bike in banglore it was ridden only 12k so I bought later... While taking is to my place I found engine heating to my leg that kind of hotness I felt... After i got serviced then also Comaprtively to first it may be less heating but it is still there.. Don't know showroom people says it's normal but it smells after I ride 10 15km..engine heatup is now coming to right side also 😢😢😢😢 don't know whom to consult
Bro.. there would be heat coming out from the engine for sure. If you feel there is engine oil burning smell then try to change the engine oil. I personally prefer Motul()7100, 300 V/V2, Shell(Shell Advance Ultra)
@@RidingSoulRV it will heat early before 7km and heat takes time to go out after 2 hours from the moment I parked the bike. Don't what it indicates engine problem or any other. Engine oil I will change
If it so severe better to check it at authorised service center.. if engine is really hot even in normal ride then check for engine oil level if it’s dropping … if not try changing the oil .. if still the same with no sign of engine oil then it’s normal for your bike .. you might be thinking it’s overheating
Bought this bike in Sep 2022 and almost 4 months I had to keep it in service centre in Mumbai. Mechanic don't have knowledge about repairing and each time you need a spare part, It will take a month to get it as tis not available. So many problem

Bhai .. once I rode it for 3 hours nonstop .. but I don’t suggest as it’s air cooled with oil cooler assistant engine so better to give rest timely as it requires slightly more time than liquid cooled engine to cool down doing so it will stay with you long.

Hi Seba bhai... price is good for just 16k kms done bike. First of all you should be checking all bike related documents like PUC, RC book, Insurance, any challan on the bike. You should be taking test ride of the bike to check the pickup, acceleration, break, mileage to see the engine performance. Check for loose fiber or any damage in the bike, check tyre condition, any slight bend in rim, chain sprocket, suspension(if it's creating noise or leaking), also check the bike frame if it's rusted. Hope this helps
Bhai do your bike have a bit more vibration than other 250 cc I own a bs6 variant and its only done 2500 km n I started feeling vibrations from handle bar
Bhai ….Most of the available bikes have more or less vibration at different speed and RPM. I feel vibration at around 4.5k RPM .. and if I cross that it becomes smooth.. later you will find some vibration in triple digits.

Japanese brands k engine achhe hote hai .. so don’t worry. Second hand bike lene k liye kisi local mechanic ko sath main le jaao and wo check karke bike condition bata sakte hai
390 kms are very good .. just be little careful about engine heating issue as it also depends on engine oil being used… and yeah bum will be roasted after this 😀
Bhai there could be multiple factors… cannot give one liner answer on this. I have made one video on improving mileage and maintainance, you can check that
not recommended it for highway if one wants to cruise keeping rpm below 5k or 6k rpm. tappet noise remains after many times it adjusted . quite annoying after 5k rpm.

I'm using Castrol power 1 from long time. And it is much better than yamahalube. I never used motul, Please compare and share your experience. Require oil change at around 2800 km.

Agree with your evaluation. It's a relatively affordable touring option. My question is did you consider Xpulse 200? I waited for 6 months for the Xpulse 200 but it was unavailable due to covid. Finally purchased Fz25 but do you think Xpulse is a better option for ladakh like tours?
Bhai …Xpulse was not there when I bought my bike.. it launched after that.. also xpulse is bit taller bike for me as I am short guy.. so I would have not chosen even it was available. Xpulse will give you better adventure experience in Ladakh because it has adventure motorcycle stance. But Ladakh test riders more than their bikes.

I am still surprised to see people choosing bikes just because of how they look...... years ago Hero launched Impulse and everyone went crazy saying this is the best bike for off Roading, leh Ladakh tours and what nots... Eventually the bike wasn't much of a success and people forgot it....Hero impulse on the same lines as per me......

If u ride like full on rush ..... Then gives 25 kmpl least mileage........ At the same rush and same performance KTM 250 mileage will be drop like 15 kmpl ( to samaj lo aap 😀) Honda is Honda 🔥

Mine has done 25K in the last 2 years. I do agree with what you said. It's a fantastic bike even with it's cons. There's no need for a 6th gear as it reaches its peak at 5th itself. Plus if there was a 6th gear the ratio would be the same and short so you'll feel like you need another gear 😂.
Couple of things i noticed.
1. Had to change the rear brakes 4 times in the last 25K. Rear pad wears out a lot quicker for me. ( I think it's coz my feet rests on the pedal )
2. Tappet noise is real and it's something you learn to live with. It's not a sign of any issue or problem with the engine. It's a sign that it's working properly.
3. My instrument cluster switch broke off and now I don't have a button to change the options. (So if you have the BS6 version, be mindful of that. The switch doesn't come seperately, you'll have to change the cluster and it will reset the odo).
4. 100 -110 is a breeze on this bike but after 120 it struggles. Don't try it on busy roads.

Hi brother… FZ25 2022 doesn’t get any major updates.. few cosmetic changes only than previous one. This bike is reliable and good for Indian road condition including every terrain Indian has and there is no perfect bike… You can take the test ride and choose it if it best match to your needs.

Bhai in terms of comfort and overall riding experience I prefer FZ25 over MT15. Also it has bigger engine so engine will be more relax... apart from this you can use both the bike for ladakh.. you might need some cushion for your butt in MT15.

Hi Sis, FZ25 ka 2018 model single channel ABS hai . means usme sirf front tyre main ABS hai... rear tyre main nhi hai ... jaada safety dual channel ABS main hoti hai usme front & rear dono main ABS plate.. jo tyre ko lock nhi hone deta.. emergency agar brake apply karte hai. so ek point dhyaan rakhna hai.... price to sahi hai .. agar thoda kam aur ho jaaye.. to try karna.. baaki kuchh points ka dhyaan rakhna
1. Any rust on any part jo almost damage ho gya ho
2. Any accident of the bike means handle bobbling issue, alignment ye sab check karne bolna
3. Any previous challan
4. PUC and Insurance valid hona chahiye
5. Agar koi part replace kiya hai to original tha ya local
6. Mileage kitna de rhi hai .. agar bht achhi condition main hogi to uska mileage 32+ kmpl arram se hoga
7. Chain sprocket, swing arm damage check kar lena

Thank you for the appreciation. Hope bike is in good shape if so, deal amount is reasonable. Bike has good initial torque which can easily pull you with limited luggage… even with the pillion where both the riders are over 140 kg of weight… so you should be good with the bike performance.

aerodynamic wise this is good bike.. this bike has upright posture so it's comfortable for long ride specially on highway. Still I would advise you to take a test ride for some kms to see your compatibility with bike.

Hi bro recently I bought second hand Fz 25 bike in banglore it was ridden only 12k so I bought later... While taking is to my place I found engine heating to my leg that kind of hotness I felt... After i got serviced then also Comaprtively to first it may be less heating but it is still there.. Don't know showroom people says it's normal but it smells after I ride 10 15km..engine heatup is now coming to right side also 😢😢😢😢 don't know whom to consult
Bro.. there would be heat coming out from the engine for sure. If you feel there is engine oil burning smell then try to change the engine oil. I personally prefer Motul()7100, 300 V/V2, Shell(Shell Advance Ultra)
@@RidingSoulRV it will heat early before 7km and heat takes time to go out after 2 hours from the moment I parked the bike. Don't what it indicates engine problem or any other. Engine oil I will change
If it so severe better to check it at authorised service center.. if engine is really hot even in normal ride then check for engine oil level if it’s dropping … if not try changing the oil .. if still the same with no sign of engine oil then it’s normal for your bike .. you might be thinking it’s overheating

Bought this bike in Sep 2022 and almost 4 months I had to keep it in service centre in Mumbai. Mechanic don't have knowledge about repairing and each time you need a spare part, It will take a month to get it as tis not available. So many problem

Bhai .. once I rode it for 3 hours nonstop .. but I don’t suggest as it’s air cooled with oil cooler assistant engine so better to give rest timely as it requires slightly more time than liquid cooled engine to cool down doing so it will stay with you long.

Hi Seba bhai... price is good for just 16k kms done bike. First of all you should be checking all bike related documents like PUC, RC book, Insurance, any challan on the bike. You should be taking test ride of the bike to check the pickup, acceleration, break, mileage to see the engine performance. Check for loose fiber or any damage in the bike, check tyre condition, any slight bend in rim, chain sprocket, suspension(if it's creating noise or leaking), also check the bike frame if it's rusted.

Bhai ….Most of the available bikes have more or less vibration at different speed and RPM. I feel vibration at around 4.5k RPM .. and if I cross that it becomes smooth.. later you will find some vibration in triple digits.

390 kms are very good .. just be little careful about engine heating issue as it also depends on engine oil being used… and yeah bum will be roasted after this 😀

not recommended it for highway if one wants to cruise keeping rpm below 5k or 6k rpm. tappet noise remains after many times it adjusted . quite annoying after 5k rpm.
