Great hike! I forgot about the steep dropoffs next to the trail. You are now in the section called (I think) the Seven "Witches" (or something that sounds very similar!). I count seven of those tough "up and downs" between Stegosaurus Ridge and Otter Creek. Those are tough. Thanks for the great video!
That road trace you saw goes up into the posted land and turns into what was a public road. We call it the "road to nowhere", it was built during the depression as a public works project and never quite made it to the river. When the dam was built it eliminated the canal plus houses and a road along the river so there was no longer a need for that road. If you could have gone up the road you would have seen that it was built with hand laid stone so it would last a long time. Just another of my grievances with the local government that can't see the value of preserving public property for the public. I often hiked down the road to fish in my youth. Follow route 425 to Kohler Road which is the "road to nowhere."
That huge leaf could be used as a fan. Wonder if people back in the day did that? The icicles on the waterfall was neat. I do worry about you on those narrow, steep trails. I know you're careful, but things do happen. Stay safe❤❤❤❤
Lovely area. The leaves may be slippy but I find them attractive. Loved the waterfalls, nothing prettier. Thanks, for taking me along. You need to care for your knee
This is one of my favorite channels - just wanted to say that. Cuffs Run project is an abomination, even financially. Ridiculous. I recommend a famous American author at this point - Edward Abbey
That rule applies only when you are on state game lands between the dates of November 15 to December 15. Apparently I'm cool enough to know what the actual laws are....

What a hike! Up down up down. At least you stayed warm.

I would definitely be using my hiking stick on that steep trail.

Absolutely more of wild area of the Susquehanna than I'm used to

Another great video. Happy New Year.
That section looks like a good spot to roll the ankle. And thank you for getting a quick video of the freight train.
Beautiful video, great hike. I bet that hike back was quite the challenge, doing those steep rocky places once is enough.
I am convinced you are part mountain goat! 😆😆I know I would have accidentally taken the quick way to the bottom
OG tarik from Philly salute WANDERING WOODSMAN PENNSYLVANIA IS IN THE BUILDING 🏢 SMASH THE LIKE BUTTON PEOPLE 👑💯💪🏿👍🏿🙏🏿✌🏿💰👾🧞♀️👻👽🛸🛸
Those steep climbs will definitely burn your calves and quads. 👍
Looks like a test for the Achilles tendons.
Beautiful!

Noted PA naturalist Jim Hart was infamous for surviving on Dinty Moore beef stew. I wonder if there’s a connection?
Cliff,
Thank you
There was a very talented Black craftsman from the revolution named Cuff,
I wonder if this was named after him?
Cheers,
Rik Spector
It's a possibility..
Getting a good workout ah
Nice trail .But I got tired from climbing that hill😂😂😂
Could be Royal Palonia tree leaves.
Yes, that’s what they were. Asian species considered to be invasive, although they have lovely flowers.
Impressed by how well you were able to zoom in on that tent. What camera do you use? Do you use a regular GoPro or something more high-end?
So the boulders are from where…. Volcanic, glaciers, erosion?
Just the bedrock.
@ so sorry…. So the layers eroded away to expose the bedrock? I’m from pacific northwest and our boulders are volcanic related
