You Mean Drew ,Seth, and Roman carried the pandemic era. If we are going to speak facts, let's make sure we don't leave anything out or discredit other superstars as well 🤷
He didn’t carry Raw (not the whole company cause Roman carried Smackdown) on his own. Randy Orton was having a fantastic run during the pandemic. Also MVP and Bobby Lashley did a pretty good job in the midcard which led to Bobby’s WWE title win
What blew my mind about Drew was how in the space of being released and re signed, he physically transformed so much that he looked like a totally different person
@elgamernegativo7742Almost if not all of them are on steroids. What's so bad about that now? There are clinically approved ones and they aren't competing in actual competition so what's the issue?
I like how honest Seth is about everything, he doesn't hold back he feelings on anything or anybody, and that's refreshing to hear when he does interviews.
Since my point of view, Drew was the face in his rivalry with CM Punk, I mean, a hard worker who is trying to improve and get what he deserves and then, there was Punk, the one who was trying to stop the hard worker and ruin his life, total respect to Drew!!
Nah he definitely was the heel he wished Punk got injured and brought up his wife and dog and stole a bracelet from Punk all because he was jealous of Punk
😂 That is deranged alternate timeline logic. How did Punk ruin Drew’s life until he was provoked? When Punk came back, all he was trying to do was to achieve his goals. He didn’t go after anyone, he didn’t attack anybody, he was just aiming to main event Wrestlemania. Drew already main evented Wrestlemania, yet he bizarrely made it personal by attacking Punk for no reason. Then he injured him and mocked him and tried to profit off Punk’s injury and get over on using Punk’s name. That is not babyface behavior. Then, at Wrestlemania, instead of celebrating his moment with his family, Drew went over to an injured Punk and mocked him and threatened to end his career if he came back, then told him to suck it. Punk couldn’t let that go without a response. If he did, you’d all be saying he lost his credibility that day. So he decided to make Drew an example: when you mess with CM Punk, bad things happen to you. It was karma, plain and simple. 😊
The decision will pay off if drew beats Cody in the mania or SummerSlam main event for the title, things will be back at the same place just with a much better and unique drew who's already an all time great
That whole Drew vs Brock was such a perfect build also, they knew what they were doing. Just eliminating Lesnar from the Royal Rumble was a huge pop, and him winning it. It made me realize that even with a good rivalry, wrestling will always need a crowd. Drew would have had one of the most amazing Wrestlemania pops ever if it wasnt for the pandemic.
I wish they would’ve let Drew have his moment, but the way they did it was clever abd it pushed the story forward, whole also helping to put Priest over.
I really thought Seth Rollins would lose the title to Damien Priest (from cash in) at WrestleMania XL. However, I was happy that Drew McIntyre won the world title again.
it is really sad that drew didn't get to have his big WWE title winning wrestlemania moment in front of a live crowd. it's such a weird feeling to watch the 2020 royal rumble back, which is usually considered one of the best if not the outright best rumble of recent years, and realize that all that was less than a month away from not happening in front of an audience. imagine edge returning, drew eliminating brock, or drew winning not in front of a packed stadium but like in the performance center in front of just some interns instead. i think 2025 will be the year they make it up to him.
He did have his moment, it just lasted 5 minutes. 😂 He hasn’t had a proper reign yet. And he won’t until he gets over his demons and stops blaming others for why he hasn’t gotten his moment.
Love Most all you guys Def was Feeling for him after HnC where he got his damn head split and was waiting on his return the whole time to make sure he was good. It's a Show love all the players
The crowd didn’t get to see in person, the ONLY Heel Rollins VS Face McIntyre feud that occurred in wrestling Something I’m sure both men are disappointed by
Exactly. It’s all necessary to build Drew up so that when he gets his moment, it will feel deserved. Same with how Cody had to go through hell to finish his story. Same as how Punk’s had an odyssey to get to his Wrestlemania main event. Same as how Daniel Bryan had to overcome all those obstacles before he could achieve his dream at Wrestlemania 30. The foundation has to be laid before the story can pay off.
Kind of insulting to say Drew was fired cos he didn’t know what he was doing. He knew how to work and was a solid promo but he was pushed too early and got stuck with the chosen one schtick then when it didn’t pay off they made him part of the job squad
You are confirming what Seth said. He didn't know what he was doing. He just went with whatever others told him to do. He didn't come up with ideas for himself. He wasn't good on the mic and was passable in the ring. He is night and day different now and getting let go ended up being the best thing for him.
I mean, it’s more insulting for Seth to act false and blow smoke up Drew’s ass despite Drew himself admitting to what Rollins said. Honesty doesn’t take anything away from Drew. It just makes him seem more impressive that he had the self awareness to be able to see what he needed to change and the self discipline to change it and Seth clearly admires him for being able to do that and come back from such a low point in his career
But he IS wrong in now he’s going about it. He’s obsessed with getting revenge on people when he should just be focusing on himself and his goals. Getting petty doesn’t achieve anything.
Drew does deserve better. But I hate the claymore as a finisher and wish it would be his transition into a new finisher. Hes believable as a champ and many of his losses easily coulda been wins and career boosting. Him and Bianca Bélair are both similar in regards to how they’re both champion quality but take the back seat too many times. I hope 2025 is the year Drew wins the rumble and gets to toss out Sami, Jey and CM punk doing it. He could be a dominant heel/antiheel force and I hope Seth and KO join up with him to become a real strong counter to every other alliance in the company
I like the Claymore. He can hit it at anytime and it’s devastating. A finish that can be hit anywhere at anytime on anyone is a keeper. Worked wonders for Stone Cold, HBK, The Rock and Randy Orton.
Drew McIntyre was especially robbed when he was in 3MB and jobbing from 2011 to 2014. Especially losing to El Torito. That will always be the stain left on his career: him, Jinder, and Heath all losing to a midget bull in seperate singles matches but McIntyre took more pinfalls from that bull because of tag matches facing Los Matadores & teaming with Hornswoggle... let that sink in.
Yep absolutely got robbed of his biggest WWE moment, I mean then WM with the WHC and Priest cashes in? It worked story wise, but... 😬 Drew deserves AT LEAST ONE WWE Championship run in front of the live fans, the rest have felt this Drew hasn't unfortunately, as it's all been behind closed doors, then Reigns with a MEGA Push with both titles, so no one got a sniff until "Finish the nepotism storeeee".😂 But now with Drews current persona, he HAS TO get a WWE Championship run in front of the live fans, as he's easily, if not the best all round performer WWE has right now, he's hitting heights that few ever hit and he's punching through all kinds of ceilings! Respect to Rollins, seems like a gd guy. But yeah Drew 💯% deserves a run with the WWE Championship, sooner rather than later and I would LOVE to see Drew do something with Cena, then the Rock down the line, that would absolutely cement the Legacy of Drew McIntyre! 👊💥
Drew got fired rebuild himself came back from nxt to main roster to Dolph Ziggler bodyguard to outshine him and roman ran the wwe during the covid era, he rewrote his own story he is the guy on raw ,Seth is franchise and drew is the guy
I still think wasting the MITB last year was a Vince move but then idk 😂 but still they could’ve had him lose the briefcase in a match to someone else or something
No, Punk definitely deserved it. Punk was on his way to the main event of WrestleMania before Drew got lucky off a botched DDT. He was doing nothing before Punk. One feud with him and his stock elevated to the hottest heel in the industry (maybe second to Solo). Drew should send a check to Punk for pulling him out of irrelevance back into the main event spotlight. 😆
Agreed. People forget Drew was doing absolutely nothing in 2023. He was just a spot away from catering. The injury to Punk was the best thing that’s happened to Drew since he won the Royal Rumble in 2020. It pulled him from irrelevance to the top of the card.
Pandemic shutdown did affect him but the REAL THIEF IS YOU Seth Rollins is not a main character anymore he is not what we want when we want to tune into Raw
Drew poked the bear, and he got the paws. 😂 All Drew had to do was leave with his wife. But he made Punk more important than his wife and his moment, and Punk made him pay. It’s Drew’s fault he got screwed. 😊

Like the Montreal screw job on WWE.
Yes Drew McIntyre was one of the biggest victims of the pandemic shutdown in terms of Wrestling, completely robbed him of his crowning achievement
And following tbh; Cody has benefited off the work Seth; Drew and Roman specifically put in during the pandemic
