Something I WISH other interviewers would learn and takes notes from, THIS is how you conduct an interview. Letting the interviewee think about and answer your questions and then asking well thought out follow up questions in relation to the answers just given.
Too many times I hear interviewers who seem to love the sound of their own voice and want to make the interviews all about themselves and how many questions they can jam in rather than the person they're interviewing.
The reason people like Chris I would hazard a guess and enjoy him interviewing almost or as much as the people he is interviewing is because 1) They know he's a good interviewers who asks good engaging questions and 2) They know that whoever he is talking to will likely be an interesting interview to listen to. Oh and on top of that he is has a fun, solid personality to go along with it which also helps. He genuinely sounds interested in what the person/people he is interviewing are saying and isn't just asking questions because he has to for his job.

Chris is the best interviewer and I'd say Simon Miller is my favorite wrestling analyst or whatever you'd call him. Both of them are professional but also pretty laid back and casual which makes them relatable and fun to listen to.

Taker called Chris the best interviewer in the business, and I think part of it is that very reason, unlike most everyone else, he lets them talk rather than making it about himself.

For everything valid in why Seth feels the way he does, I think the biggest invalid reason is he doesn't like that through all of that CM Punk possess a power over him that he can't counter.
You see at the end of this clip he's so consumed by CM Punk being able to swallow up that moment and have the ability to take the crowds excitement from 10 other guys that just laid it all in the ring and get it all for himself. This is a power that Punk has had that's been eating at Seth for the last decade. Seth's cutting a promo (CM Punk Chants), Seth's champ (CM Punk Chants), Seth has money in the bank (CM Punk Chants), Seth's in the main event (CM Punk Chants)......Seth and 9 other guys put on a spectacular war games (CM Punk returns).
The fact that no matter how much he does, how good he is, how long he's been on top...that they'll always love this guy more is why CM Punk is a "cancer" to him.....

That was a golden opportunity to turn him heel and give him a dirty win against Punk. Just imagine the following: Punk wins the Rumble, Seth wins the Elimination Chamber WHC match after a heel turn. You then get the final chapter of these guys at 'Mania.

Seth has had outstanding matches, wrestlemania or otherwise, and could certainly put on a clinic with another superstar like Punk. However, it's been made clear at this point that the initial plan was to have the Rock involved in some sort of main event match. Based on recent events, it seems like that has fallen through and WWE had to scramble to come up with a big money match. Cody and Cena are all but locked for the WWE title, which leaves Roman and Punk (the two biggest active roster draws rn) to fill in the gaps. Had Rock returned and faced Cody, Cena and Roman likely would've main evented for the WHC OR Seth and Punk for the WHC.

Same, I thought this was gunna be a kayfabe interview because I know punk brought him up into the main roster and they both came from RoH....didn't expect all these truths about what happened, and glad to finally him say why he got so worked up about his return. But in the end they took it to the ring and made money like pro's, and I'm happy they did. He's working here. Almost had me believing this was a shoot.
I knew it was a work when he started talking about how Punk coming out at Survivor Series was a selfish moment orchestrated by Punk.
By multiple accounts, Punk had no idea what the plan was. Everything was thrown together at the last possible minute. Punk didn't even have a CONTRACT 2 hours before the event.
Punk himself even said that he was yelling at HHH in Gorilla right before Punk had to go through the curtain, asking him what he was supposed to do, and HHH told him to just run out there.
Nice job by both guys. Great match and these two can work the mic.

That was a slap in the face to all his fans that spent their hard earned money to go take time out of their day to see him perform. Triple H has said in interviews he talked to the people in the match to tell them what was going to happen at the end. I have a hard time believing Seth wasn't one of those people. In fact, him "freaking out" and having to be "held back" by Michael Cole (as if) makes me think he knew and planned that reaction because he knew they'd be in a program together. I just don't buy that Seth didn't know. Why would HHH lie about it? Or why would he tell some people in the WarGames match, but not Seth? Something doesn't add up.
And Seth being upset for Randy is silly, Randy even joked about it with Punk immediately after. "You couldn't let me have 10 minutes?!" Randy says to Punk, while laughing, and then gives him a big hug and apologizes for being sweaty. So if Randy's not bothered, no one else should be.
At least Punk has brought out a more serious side to Rollins instead of the weird Joker character we always get. It's hard to take him seriously when he dresses and acts like that, especially with that cackling laugh.

He chose not to go elsewhere, and he has to stand with his decision, but people are not wrong when they call him a company guy, because he's the definition. He chose to stay with a gross business that has started to turn itself around, but he made that choice and people are allowed to see him the way they see him.

He left the business as a whole not just the company. He wanted all his friends to leave in solidarity but had no plan on how to keep them paid. And then when he did leave he started shit talking people who were his friends and tried to ruin the company in any way he could. He was never given the time off to get it sorted, Vince didn't care aslong as the talent was making him money. I don't really care what wrestlers think of each other but if they can use it to create great stories and matches then thats only a bonus for us as fans. He tried sinking the company, then left it and caused problems at every other company he went to, he tried his hand at UFC but without kayfabe to protect him he got his ass handed to him twice, now he's just walked back into WWE expecting roses at his feet while real talent like McIntyre get sacrificed so he can look the rebel.
