When my mother had cancer, she could eat pizza and she'd order Domino's several times a week. The wonderful people at the store got to know her and they'd make side stops to pick her up things like milk and bread. When she'd ask me to call and order a pizza, they answered with "Hi" and her name. So every year on her birthday I have a Domino's thin crust pizza in remembrance.
That is so sweet. You should write into Domino's corporate office. So often companies get the negative feedback of what the stores or employees are doing wrong. This is a lovely story and the corporate office should know how well that particular franchise treated your mom. 😊💖
Domino's is the only time i've ever seen a company full on admit that their food was terrible, and genuinely try to do better. Their pan pizza is absolutely incredible. The apology tour worked. Now if only Pizza Hut could learn from this...they have steadily gotten worse and worse since the 90's.
Pizza Hut was my favorite growing up, but they have DEFINITELY gone downhill. I remember the days when no one would order from Domino's. I'm surprised they stayed in business. I'm glad they listened to feedback, but I also think they didn't have a choice. Domino's used to be really bad! Now Pizza Hut needs to work on it. Dominos and Papa John's have better pizza.

So my husband practically dared me to order Dominos after seeing this. We did.. The spinach feta cheesy bread is very good and you're right about the garlic sauce.... It literally tastes like rich garlic butter. I did like the pineapple jalapeño chicken but I love sweet spicy food so that could be preference. Thank you for making videos on food that a normal person can find. I watch all of your videos and find your assessments are pretty accurate! Anyhow stay safe!
I worked at Domino's for a long time and it is still one of my favorite pizza delivery places. The wings suck and the sandwiches usually don't have enough toppings on them, but the bread sides are usually great and the pan pizzas are the best 👩🏼🍳🍕😍
When I order the mango jalapeño pineapple chicken sandwich I usually ask for extra chicken and sauce. That seems to help. So good when left to sit in the flavors in the fridge.

hey so i work at dominos and i have a couple comments 😂. so first of all, buying the garlic or parm bread twists is kinda dumb. they’re twice the price of the parm bites but they’re literally same thing. like same type of dough, same amount, same toppings (except garlic twists don’t have parm). also never buy a thin crust. it’s a piece of cardboard and will definitely burn on the edges, no doubt about it. if you want a thinner crust just get a brooklyn. also i survive at work mainly on the stuffed cheesy breads and lava crunch cakes so those also have my stamp of approval.
Almost got their BBQ chicken pizza a couple days ago but I've been wanting to focus on supporting local businesses at this time, usually the food is better anyways
However, there are hourly employees working everywhere. And with less people ordering from these places (franchises, corporate owned locations), they lay off more people. So it’s hard to say who needs the most help. Hourly employees who need to keep their jobs or small businesses owners who need a steady flow of income too.
@@joelreyes5710 locally owned businesses also have hourly employees and don't benefit from the brand recognition and national commercial campaigns that the big businesses have. I'd imagine that the small local businesses are losing far more revenue right now.

We do not have half of the bread in Canada...well where I am from. Never even heard of Dominos having Garlic Butter sauce. I love the Classic Hot Buffalo chicken and I get the alfredo pasta and put the two together. Delicious

Last night I fried chicken and cut the pieces myself from a whole chicken. Afterwards, TH-cam suggested a video on how to cut a whole chicken and fry it. Mind you, I've never searched this in my life because I know how. What are the odds? 🧐
If you decide to get the chocolate lava crunch cakes, eat one and freeze the other one. They are AMAZING frozen. The circular dip on the top of the cake is a perfect spot for a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Last night I fried chicken and cut the pieces myself from a whole chicken. Afterwards, TH-cam suggested a video on how to cut a whole chicken and fry it. Mind you, I've never searched this in my life because I know how. What are the odds? 🧐

If you decide to get the chocolate lava crunch cakes, eat one and freeze the other one. They are AMAZING frozen. The circular dip on the top of the cake is a perfect spot for a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
