I used to work as a server at Carrabba's. I had a family at a table who ordered calamari and one of the kids looks at me and goes, "what even is calamari?" and before I can answer his mom says, "They're onion rings, right?" while giving me the stink-eye. After an awkward moment I said, "Sure. They're onion rings" and the kids both cheered saying, "we LOVE onion rings!" And I got a great tip from them. True story.
Me too except I would end up being like 500 lbs and they would have to replace me because “nobody wants to watch someone who has to use an oxygen tank eat 30 plates of food”

I think Carrabba's is the kind of place that a lot of people have never been to, and they assume it's just another Applebee's or whatever. It's not people. Carrabba's is legitimately amazing.
I have so many questions about this AMAZING SERIES (no seriously i live for this) like.. 1. Have you ever been sick after any of these episodes? 2. Is there a certain food or dish you've been dreading to come up (or has already) and is seriously afraid to eat it without gagging? 3. Have you ever faked a positive review on a dish or do you actually love everything lol 4. Do the customers in the background ever give you weird looks or ask you what you're doing? 5. Does Chelsea ever eat any of the leftover dishes? 6. Do you take breaks between rounds or just dive right in? 7. Do you do anything to prepare for these episodes? 8. Ever take any leftovers home? Ok I think that's it!!!
Your video for Bonefish was how my boyfriend and I decided to go there for our anniversary. Tried some of the food you suggested too and it was great! Now we're using these videos to look for new places to try!
Brilliant! I’m a nurse anesthesiologist sitting in the hospital cafeteria eating my basic meal watching you indulge in the best dishes at restaurants. The internet is a magical place.
I hope you know that whenever I'm stressed, I watch your videos and I feel like I'm hanging with my best friend (who is 2 states away.) You are so awesome!
Anne Sofie Jensen.....Back when I ate at sit down restaurants, if I knew appetizers were generous portions, I'd order a couple in place of a main meal choice and take the leftovers home. Appetizers actually should be shared by several people, not one or two.
@@tosht2515 You guys eat from one bowl of soup? Interesting, in Denmark and most european countries i've been to, most appetizers are just meant for one person. I would know since i've plated thousands of them 😅
@Anne Sofie Jensen Yes, in America the entire table shares the soup using the same spoon. We also share one large cup of coffee by passing it around. Since you’re so experienced, I’m quite sure you would recognize when a bowl of soup is that large, it is eaten as the main.
one of the owners of a pizza place i used to work at was a partner of one of the outbacks that the carrabba’s used to manage/own. he fell so in love with the creamy pasta with peas and mushrooms that they have their own spin on it at the restaurant, as well as had the family help with a lot of the dishes. that shits fire.
Worked at Carrabbas for awhile. Outside of a handful of items (namely the Alfredo pastas), the food is quite good. The campagnolo is the best pasta dish on the menu, very underrated. Too bad she didn’t opt for the Caesar-the dressing is easily the best around.
I seriously can't understand how those could have come out so pale. They look like they were fried just barely enough to make a crust, and then microwaved the rest of the way.

There are not that many Japanese food restaurants in the non-coastal US (where she is) due to the fact that some of the dishes are based on fresh ocean fish and that is almost impossible to preserve

LeaMelxo Olive Garden has literally no flavor in there food. The only thing I liked is the soup and the dessert and nothing else.
