❤🇯🇴❤ Indeed, now we understand how important Jordan is. Petra was the original Mecca. The Temple of Dushara just like Shiv mandir had a Navagraha counter where the nine idols of stone were consecrated and worshipped till 713 when the 2nd Islamic civil-war and earthquakes forced Muslims to shift their Kaaba location to present day mecca in Saudi Arabia. Petra was also the place where Abraham left Ishmael and his mother Hagar in the Valley of Nabatean tombs and temples. The mountains are Saffa and Maruwa. These mountains also had water-ways(ZamZam) carved on them, which provided water to in-coming caravans, camels as well as the resident people of Petra. Basically Quran describes Petra as Mecca...with orchards, wine-yards and olive trees. Also the Qibla of AlAqsa mosque and the Dome of the rock itself is oriented towards Petra. Which meant Petra was the most important city from the ancient times. Thanks to researchers like Dan Gibson, watch his videos "the sacred city".

And remember when He made you successors after ʿĀd and settled you in the land, and you take for yourselves palaces from its plains and carve from the mountains, homes. I was there twice...the most amazing place !....and then some.
Thanks to researchers like Dan Gibson, watch his videos "the sacred city".
not true original mecca is in mecca
Kabbalism?
You understand from your background that Petra is not Arab, it is Nabataean Jordanian. The Jordanian Nabataeans are not Arabs. They have their own language. A Jordanian youth explained and spoke it.
Marvelous beyond what we can imagine!!!

Our history is glorious🇯🇴🇯🇴🇯🇴
Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with ʽAad - [With] Iram - who had lofty pillars, the likes of whom had never been created in the lands. And [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley? And [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes? [All of] whom oppressed within the lands and increased therein the corruption. So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment. Indeed, your Lord is in observation.
- Quran 89:6-

To the Thamud people (We sent) their brother Salih. He said, “O my people! worship Allah: you have no other deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. This is the she-camel of God sent to you as a Sign. So leave her to eat within God's land, and do not touch her with harm, lest there seize you a painful punishment.
And remember when He made you successors after ʿĀd and settled you in the land, and you take for yourselves palaces from its plains and carve from the mountains, homes. Then remember the favors of God and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption.”

Nice quick overview on Petra.
The people who carved the mountains as a home are mentioned in the Quran. The people are called "Aad and samood" they were giant. And they were from Arab.

I came here after watching video on maidan Salih in Saudi Arab. These places are amazing.
I've lived in Petra for thousand of years..no one interviewed me.
at 3:42 is a water well used for storing the water of the city just like in rome and india. there is no other reliable supply of water for that city than a large water well. the people would have thirsted to death if their water was periodic and needed a reliable source that would refill from time to time. the people looks like macedonians just like alexander the great.

And I go 3 time to Petra.
So Beautiful
Petra is built by Arabian.. because if you see the 'Madain soleh, in Saudi Arabia.. and Petra houses are totally same.
Nabaeteans kingdom reached both places and that's why there architecture is similar, they simply the same people

It’s the opposite, this Nabatean Kingdom structures were inspired by Roman, and therefore Greek, architecture

Great Summary
So much Greek influence! The architecture, theater, sculptures, mosaics, art, and even the name Petra!
Many Roman and Greek architects are of Arab origin from Syria, and this is mentioned in their books, and many Arabs ruled the Romans
@@SN-ce5zm Btw Syrians are not Arab, they only speak Arabic. Arabs are 2,000km away and live in the Arabian peninsula.
@@SN-ce5zm Also I will make myself clear.
When I say Roman & Greek influence I am not referring to all of Petra, but lots. Specifically Al-Khazneh Temple, Petra Theater, Byzantine Church, and the Colonnaded Street.
E.g. look at Al-Khazneh and note: The Corinthian style pillars, overall design of the first floor and entrance, and 'Castor and Pollux' statues either side of the entrance.
Also note that it was built after Alexander and during Rome.
