Jon’s sounding stronger than in 2022, but clearly still struggling, especially on Blood on Blood, which is hard even for a good vocalist. Not ready for a tour, but glad he’s at least having fun with the lads and doing what he loves. You can clearly see how much he wants to be doing this and how much fun they’re having.
He needs to hang up his stage towel it’s just not going to come back too much damage has done to his vocals including incorrect technique smoking and drinking it’s just weak sounding vocals which is so sad makes people realise his new album was all done in the studio to cover his poor vocals 😣

This kind of surgery, where a prosthetic has been placed internally, can take much longer in terms of physio and recovery. He won’t ever get his voice fully back to pre-2000 level; it’s not a two year, congratulations deal.
I’m happy enough with his vocals. He’s never gonna sing like a young man again regardless of surgery. I’m enjoying it for what it is. Jon looks fit and healthy and enjoying himself and the band are amazing live so all good

I’m happy to see them performing again. Jon has come a long way from 2022. No joke, losing his voice is not the way for him to have to bow out. He’s having fun settling in to his new range. Hitting some notes, clearly able to make it happen again. I hope he gets stronger and able to put together one more tour.
I think it's a massive improvement from 2022. He sound like himself now. 2022 your should have been canceled honestly. He couldn't even hold a key whatsoever, and was pretty much talking through songs in monotonous voice.

Honestly he sounds like he has spasmodic dysphonia. Maybe in time he will get better. Honestly if he gets slightly better they could do it letting Richie do the heavy lifting if they would get over the past.

Well, this is actually sad guys, let´s be honest. I don´t want to ruin anybodys hopes but he still has a really long way to go, to be honest, i don´t notice any kind of progress in his voice, he said that he was at a 70%. What scares me the most is that he doesn´t seem to be capable of facing the truth.

Yes, this is it. Jon is currently the main voice of the band again. the first song is a warm-up and the fact that he is able to sing for 30 minutes and still sing high notes is a good sign. I enjoy it!

You're right. This is painful to listen to. He sounds out of tune and desperate during the 80's songs. "Follow" and "Legendary" sound decent. His body language reveals he's struggling physically and emotionally to sing. If he wants to perform, he has to understand world tours are definitely over. I don't see how he can do a 20 songs show twice a week. Let's see if his ego can take it.

And You Give Love, he restructured his cadence a little, and owns the song a little bit stronger than previously. But I fear once he commits to a tour he will go downhill, he gives everything 110% which is to our benefit, and usually his downfall

During interviews he says that he is almost there and can belt high notes which is not true. Picking blood on blood was a suicide because chorus is pretty high but other songs don’t sound good too. Bad name is not that high however his voice is still shaking and out of tune. Born to follow - tempo problems and voice is fading away. Born to be my baby - all high notes missed during 5 songs show. The truth is that he is not even close to 2017-2019 era. On 2019 he was able to sing always. Not perfect but his vocal range let him do it. Nowadays Born To Follow (4 chords simple song) is challenging him. Love the band but let’s face the truth - he is not 90 nor 70% there. To me it still sounds as bad as it sounded during 2022 tour. You must be deaf to notice any progress.
I'm a big fan and saw the band on almost every tour from 1986 to 2009. After the documentary on Disney+ I was very, very sad to see Jon in such a state and still thought the decision to stop performing live was the right one. When I see the footage from the bar, all I can say is please stop and don't destroy your own legend.😪
What a legacy. Ok…Blood On Blood - Jon’s voice cracking and then first time I’ve heard Tico stumble…Shanks soloing (cringe)…Phil X and David kept it alive but those backing vocals and super loud tambourine…hmm. Good to see Jon moving more at least and having fun.
It is great to see them performing live again! Jon, Tico, David, Hugh and Phil X sound great, no need for John Shanks and Everett Bradley....... Agree that Shanks solo and Bradley's percussion were cringe along with their background vocals being terrible and unnecessary!

If Jon wants to continue touring, he should look into hiring a stunt singer. A lot of the aging bands do it. The songs just don't have the same intensity when he sings in that casual style. It comes across as a lounge act. To be honest, I wouldn't pay to see this.
He's clearly in better form that that last tour but you can tell he is really tiptoeing around the vocals and down on power as well. A bit flat but compared to that last tour he's hitting notes where they are at least general ballpark and in the original melodies. I respect him for doing this all live when people not damaged just pump digital files through a pa and shortchange fans.

Give it another year or two, he'll be in fighting shape. He's progressing from 2022, you can hear it. And remember, Jon had some bad shows in 2019 where his voice just couldn't do the show very well - they sounded worse than the 2024 performance. he's not out of breath. He's singing in time. his technique has improved and he's clearly learning new things. Give the boy time!
I think we need to give him a little compassion. He and the band gave us 40 years of great music and memories. Its hard to watch him struggle and its not what it was once was....better than a few years ago. He is trying and hopefully it will improve. Its not just Jon the backing vocals are off too. I know Richie went about things the wrong way but that sound will never be replicated. Sorry but Shanks the snake doesn't fit in. Wish Jon the best.
I think that Jon should recover his voice a bit more for a well deserved farewell concert and so celebrate an amazing 40 years career , then call it a day. He can't tour anymore , he would struggle badly. That is a reality

It's terrible for any artist not to be able to make his career as he would like, I'm sure the first one who is having a hard time with his voice is him, but he should be patient and really recover, right now he is not ready to tour, people will pay the tickets for who Bon Jovi was, not for what he is today. The worst thing, and this is my personal opinion, is that in addition to not having a voice, it makes her singing taste terrible, she can't modulate and that even makes her work worse. I have loved Bon Jovi since the 80s and always will, BUT this is not good. There’s no way he can tour. He sounds like he forgot how to sing and keep in key of his own songs. I don’t think he sounds any better here. I think it’s time to retire.

Yes, this is it. Jon is currently the main voice of the band again. the first song is a warm-up and the fact that he is able to sing for 30 minutes and still sing high notes is a good sign. I enjoy it!

You're right. This is painful to listen to. He sounds out of tune and desperate during the 80's songs. "Follow" and "Legendary" sound decent. His body language reveals he's struggling physically and emotionally to sing. If he wants to perform, he has to understand world tours are definitely over. I don't see how he can do a 20 songs show twice a week. Let's see if his ego can take it.

During interviews he says that he is almost there and can belt high notes which is not true. Picking blood on blood was a suicide because chorus is pretty high but other songs don’t sound good too. Bad name is not that high however his voice is still shaking and out of tune. Born to follow - tempo problems and voice is fading away. Born to be my baby - all high notes missed during 5 songs show.
The truth is that he is not even close to 2017-2019 era. On 2019 he was able to sing always. Not perfect but his vocal range let him do it. Nowadays Born To Follow (4 chords simple song) is challenging him.
Love the band but let’s face the truth - he is not 90 nor 70% there. To me it still sounds as bad as it sounded during 2022 tour. You must be deaf to notice any progress.
He has a long way to go. I gotta say Bad name can be tricky to sing, personal experience of doing plenty of Bon Jovi covers over the years.

I'm a big fan and saw the band on almost every tour from 1986 to 2009. After the documentary on Disney+ I was very, very sad to see Jon in such a state and still thought the decision to stop performing live was the right one. When I see the footage from the bar, all I can say is please stop and don't destroy your own legend.😪

What a legacy. Ok…Blood On Blood - Jon’s voice cracking and then first time I’ve heard Tico stumble…Shanks soloing (cringe)…Phil X and David kept it alive but those backing vocals and super loud tambourine…hmm. Good to see Jon moving more at least and having fun.
It is great to see them performing live again! Jon, Tico, David, Hugh and Phil X sound great, no need for John Shanks and Everett Bradley....... Agree that Shanks solo and Bradley's percussion were cringe along with their background vocals being terrible and unnecessary!

If Jon wants to continue touring, he should look into hiring a stunt singer. A lot of the aging bands do it. The songs just don't have the same intensity when he sings in that casual style. It comes across as a lounge act. To be honest, I wouldn't pay to see this.
Bon Jovi should reunite with Richie Sambora and play shows at Madison Square Gardens once a week. John and Richie could sing 7 or 8 songs each.

He's clearly in better form that that last tour but you can tell he is really tiptoeing around the vocals and down on power as well. A bit flat but compared to that last tour he's hitting notes where they are at least general ballpark and in the original melodies. I respect him for doing this all live when people not damaged just pump digital files through a pa and shortchange fans.

@@mattprice3552 that was before the surgery. Last week they played all of those songs a half-step down like they used to do normally on tour, so it's basically Jon tryin to get used to the stage. It's clear that he needs more time to recover and to get in shape.

Give it another year or two, he'll be in fighting shape. He's progressing from 2022, you can hear it. And remember, Jon had some bad shows in 2019 where his voice just couldn't do the show very well - they sounded worse than the 2024 performance. he's not out of breath. He's singing in time. his technique has improved and he's clearly learning new things. Give the boy time!
I think we need to give him a little compassion. He and the band gave us 40 years of great music and memories. Its hard to watch him struggle and its not what it was once was....better than a few years ago. He is trying and hopefully it will improve. Its not just Jon the backing vocals are off too. I know Richie went about things the wrong way but that sound will never be replicated. Sorry but Shanks the snake doesn't fit in. Wish Jon the best.
I think that Jon should recover his voice a bit more for a well deserved farewell concert and so celebrate an amazing 40 years career , then call it a day. He can't tour anymore , he would struggle badly. That is a reality

It's terrible for any artist not to be able to make his career as he would like, I'm sure the first one who is having a hard time with his voice is him, but he should be patient and really recover, right now he is not ready to tour, people will pay the tickets for who Bon Jovi was, not for what he is today.
The worst thing, and this is my personal opinion, is that in addition to not having a voice, it makes her singing taste terrible, she can't modulate and that even makes her work worse.
