Hi there - they seemed to be making light of the job using the Samson kit and two tractor and tanker combos plus a HGV road tanker that brought the slurry from about 4 miles away. What would you suggest that would be better - something like this? th-cam.com/video/gb1UrY2vsJs/w-d-xo.html 🙂👍
@@MalcPearce Well yeah. It just seems to involve an awful lol to of handling of the slurry, transferring it from tank to tank. But, I get that that tank can spread over very wide area which helps with ground compaction I expect. Impressive kit 👍
Grew up on a dairy farm in canada and we just had one of the tanks with a deflector at the end of the pipe that spread it out in a sprinkler type pattern so this seems so odd to me. how often do you need to clean out the pipes and tubing on this?
My bad - I usually add some in the background but I forgot before finalising and uploading the video! I've had to add something from the TH-cam audio library but most of their files were too short!
I know.... I messed up and posted the video without any music so decided to add something from the TH-cam free backing songs. It's not really what I wanted... :(
10/10 for the video - made spreading slurry look surreal, well done sir.
Thanks for your kind words 😎👍
That's an unreal set up for slurry absolutely brilliant
I'm hoping to catch them again on a sunnier day and get a better video of the whole operation! 🙂
Fantastic set up great video
Glad you liked it - indeed, very impressive equipment!
Great Video! (It's me driving)🙂
Thanks! Nice to chat with you, let me know if you are coming out this way again, perhaps on a sunnier day! 🙂
Gareth, are you guys working today? Would love to come and film you in the sunshine!!?!
that is amazing equipment
Impressive wing span on the arms - 36m in huge!
Nice
Thanks 👍😎
It's a very impressive operation, but it doesn't strike me as a very efficient way of spreading slurry.

The slurry is from an AD plant so is filtered so as not the block the pipes 👍😎
Impressive kit, I get the spreader is on trams but do the ferry tankers cause much compaction?
The tankers are quiet heavy when full, the 4500 will be about 20t!
@@MalcPearce yer so do they not cause a fair bit of damage when turning in the field like that?
👍👍👍👍👍
😎👍
Great video but is there supposed to be no audio?

That music is so annoying
