Good to see donkey out interviewing. That young guy isn't the best person to be out representing Grassmen. Donkey or even Gary are the ppl who made Grassmen stand out. The interviewer is as important as the quality of the video footage.
Slurry Application More Efficient At Night To reduce the evaporation of the liquid slurry should be spread at night. Reduced evaporation will increase the volume of liquid the nutrients are dissolved in thus enhance penetration into the soil. Slurry application during the day more of the liquid will evaporate due to higher temperatures thus less penetration of the nutrients into the soil. Plethora of variables for example ambient temperature when the slurry is applied and prevailing wind speed however the above generalisation is correct. Use AI to apply slurry at night. Trials required in the real world with slurry application during the day and at night. It will be interesting to observe the different outcomes as to how significant the improved nutrient penetration into the soil is with slurry application at night relative to slurry application during the day. Night time slurry application perfect for AI driverless vehicles. Comments welcome
Irrigation of land must also take place at night to reduce evaporation of the water applied to the land. Variables must be assessed before irrigating land for example night time temperature and wind speed to reduce water lost via evaporation. Using technology in agriculture will enhance productivity of the land and reduce any environmental damage that can potentially result from irrigation for example potentially lowering the water table due to excessive use of water for irrigation. Another potential use for AI to help farmers operate their farms more efficiently. Has anyone ever calculated the difference in the water loss due to evaporation when using irrigation during the day and using irrigation at night? During a drought the environmental impact of reducing water used for irrigation must be calculated as well as the time saving as irrigation will not take as long at night due to potentially vastly lower water loss due to evaporation. Agriculture is very slow to adopt new technologies and amend its operating procedures and this problem must be resolved. Long overdue some field trials regarding the reduced water loss due to evaporation from using irrigation at night relative to using irrigation during the day. This amendment is of global significance so time to hit the ground running. Comments welcome
Donkey n Jim always a good banter 👍
Fascinating to see. Thank you 🚜
Great 2 see james
A very nice setup for slurry😁💪
Thanks for all the hearts yesterday😉👍
Thank you
What a setup keep up the good work you guys put in to all of your videos and thank you for the hearts yesterday i really appreciate it
Our pleasure!
You guys are the farming version of Ant and Dec😂😂😂
🤣🤣
True 👍😂🤣
Aye
Seen his da cut hedges on the toome road in Ballymena for road service. He’s not afraid to whale it into a strong hedge😂
No fear lol

Our young staff have to start out somewhere and need practise and encouragement. We are proud of our staff 👏
Thought it said ‘taking a poo’ 😂
That would be past the watershed.
you two will get a job at stormont l plenty of poo up there lol
No better men

Slurry spreading is the same year in year out how do manage to such nonsense about it
Know ones asking u to watch it 🤔
As the title says talking poo 💩.
My point is surely there is some new content they can put out besides slurry .
