Running without the ball has every player faster by way of sprinting technique than with the ball . It's not an accurate comparison. ET was midfield as well.

Watched my brother play beside Jacko (RIP) in the centres through juniors in rep teams...i was a big fan then, my brother always maintained he was destined to play for Australia...he was great in this game and from memory was great in the origin series preceeding
Got to play a round of golf with Jacko probably about a year and a half before he passed, just me and his brother in law. 1 of the best days in my life we just laughed the whole 18 holes, I've met plenty of footballers but none of them came close to Jacko just a humble and funny man and was genuinely interested in my life and what I had to say

some great tests between the two sides between 1990 and 1995. Australia just had the edge when it really mattered but the Brits never gave an inch during that period led to some great contests and still a time when the Biff was well and truly allowed.
Legends star studed line up what a game that was back in the day.Glen lazzarus was badly concused earlier in the game but kept on playing should've come off you could see he was struggling really bad ,players were tough buggers back then ,im glad the rules have changed on concussions and head high shots. Paul Harrogan had probably the biggest breakout season in RL history to earn himself a spot in this team.
He played great for NSW country that year, which was a genuine stepping stone to the Blues back then.
