I used to edit that stuff out but I'm finding that like you, people really appreciate the real stuff, like making mistakes and just using an eraser to smooth areas that didn't go down as smoothly as intended. I'll be trying to leave more of the mistakes and fixes in videos going forward.

This is absolutely beautiful. And that blue jay that bothers you? It's just really cold out and he's all scrunched up to keep warm:) I've seen them do that (here in the U.P.) when the temp is below zero. Love your style. Thank you so much for sharing.
So glad you liked it Abi! And I'm glad to finally have this out instead of it sitting there taunting me on my to-do list. Ugh, coloring with a bad shoulder is definitely a life lesson on how to deal with life at a slower pace!

Amy Shulke - Stop it Amy, I won’t accept you putting yourself down. That reminds me of my nephew, he is charismatic and he doesn’t know what the fuss is all about. At the same time it shows how humble you are, which is attractive in itself. If you every come my way, you make I know about it please.
I am embarrassed to say that until I started coloring with Copics and watching videos, I didn't know that it was legal to add and/or change details to rubber stamped images. But now that I have come this far on my journey, it's uncommon for me not to do something different as I'm coloring a project because I usually pick something up from my photo reference. Sometimes I don't realize I've incorporated a change until I am all done and have stepped back to look at my project. I love the combination of coloring information and the reinforcement of how it's normal for me to constantly feel like I'm just a coloring rookie. :)
Yep. Always a rookie. For years, I kept waiting for a magical certificate to arrive- "CONGRATULATIONS, YOU NOW ALMOST KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!" Still waiting...
LOL, I can't not change a stamp. Even when I try hard to stay faithful, as soon as my marker strays outside the lines, I'm there changing the shape and fixing whatever is next to it too.
Yep, sorry. The class ran Nov 7th and 8th. Heads up, the Dec class is early too, the 5th and 6th. We're trying to avoid the Thanksgiving and Christmas slump when people are busy prepping and can't come to class.
Loved seeing this start to finish! And it really helps to know it took you hours to color too. We started three birds in class but most of us didn't finish those....it's taking more time than I expected here at home but I'm learning so much with each bird. As for changes, yes I changed the Blue Jay's beak....several times, ugggg. I may go back and give him a little more bulk too, just to give him that little bit bigger look. Lines? Color inside the lines? Hah!

I think it's a pretty good stamp for colorers at any level. You can keep it simple or jazz it up a bit, looks good either way.
