The abrupt ending after hearing an unknown voice say "Excuse me" was the creepiest part of this entire video. All I could think was "And Jacob and Jason were never heard from again..."

These old Holidome Holiday inns are always interesting. The concept is a cool piece of hotel history. Stayed at a couple as a kid almost 20 years ago. They were run down then and we had some interesting experiences.
Also, I found a cool article that talks about the history of the holidome and it turns out that there is one right by you in Eureka, Missouri that is still a Holiday Inn!

It also feels like some embassy suites

Probably because Embassy Suites was originally part of Holiday Inn. There are some Crowne Plazas that feature atriums as well.

At 2:11 you can see the old Holiday Inn logo still on the room locator sign. Plus the colour scheme on the railings. Looks like they haven't touched the place since 1987.

I have always seen this along 270, but never realized it was a hotel. I vividly remember seeing the circle window things.

Looks like an old Holidome. Loved staying at them back in the day. The atrium's smelled strongly of chlorine! The last one I stayed in was the MCM Fundome in Odessa, TX about five years ago. Reminded me a lot of The Lodge; though the MCM was in decent condition still.

Would be super cool if you could rent a room there just for night. So we could see the rooms inside.
Would be cool if you could manage to get a room at the inside to that atrium thing.
As a regular guest you can walk around there and maybe make some more video from the pool area etc. maybe hidden with your phone.
Would be very exiting to see more of that place.

Oh wow, this is very creepy. It feels very unnerving just looking at the enclosed atrium with nobody or nothing going on. Reminds me of some older Holiday Inns. Crazy.

I wonder if this was originally a early Holiday Inn Holidome. (Well I see now that I expanded your description it was!) We had a much smaller one here in my city (2 level) that was set up very similar with the exterior rooms, yet had an atrium with the interior rooms just like this. It is still around today yet without the Holiday Inn name of course.

I stayed at this place Mar., 1993 and it was still Holiday Inn then. As for the bldg., this is a fairly typical Holidome conversion. It's kinda sad to see it like this.

It appears that the original Holiday Inn in Bridgeton, MO was at 4545 N Lindbergh Blvd. I'm not sure when the Pennridge facility started. EDIT: The Pennridge facility existed as a Holiday Inn at the same time as the Lindberg One. The Lodge's original address was on St. Charles Rock Rd.

The one in Bridgeton was a really good hotel back in the 90’s. It’s a shame that it got trashed and was torn down.

That CRT TV at 4:06 is not even an HDTV. In 2022 that is just sad for any hotel unless that hotel or motel is in a small town. I am pretty sure that even Motel 6 has HDTVs at this point. And yes at one time you could buy an CRT TV that was High Deflation. This hotel is really depressing and needs a lot of work.

    • @keirengaming

So this place is terrible for any price

In the description of this video it mentions that when Jacob was in the process of leaving some man approached him and wanted to know what he was doing and what room he was staying in. Jacob just told him that he was leaving. My guess is that he left that part out of the video just to be on the safe side.
That hotel actually can be pretty nice with new management and some renovations and repairs. But, it really does seem creepy as it currently is.

I don't think it used to be exterior entrances on the inside. It looks more like it used to be similar to the Holidomes that Holiday Inn used to have in the 70's
