Love both outdoor and indoor price is reasonable too, considering the full size 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, basement, the long driveway also tons of space to create/fix to your liking. Love it, love everything about it including the price
The first property was decorated very well. It's good to see an actual eye for design and detail. It shows they cared enough not to make it basic like a lot of other flippers/developers.
I like the first property more because of the decorating but the second property more because of the price. LOL, l wouldn't be able to afford either, though - but they both are REALLY nice!
When living in the west suburbs like Maywood, Bellwood, Hillside, etc. the homes are going to be a lot more because of the location. You're near 3 major expressways (I-290, I-80, 294), you're 10 minutes from Chicago, 20+ minutes from Downtown, and 15 minutes from O'hare airport. The size of the homes and the area of Maywood they're both terrible. Maywood have been bad before I was born and only have gotten worst.
I have looked for a house to buy in Maywood and Bellwood back in 2003 because I worked in Oakbrook at 1 Tower Lane building and they were $200k+ for a bad area. Maywood back in the day had 2 sides. If you lived north of the train tracks by Madison it's bad. If you lived south of the tracks it was good. Bellwood was always a nice and quiet suburb until.... You're paying for "location location location". I know that the location isn't the best but you're 10 minutes from Chicago. You're 20+ minutes from Downtown. You're 15 minutes from O'Hare Airport. You're literally right next to 3 expressways that will take you to North, South, and West suburbs. I don't like it when people try to praise/defend where they live at or the foods they enjoy eating when they know it's bad because they're assuming that you don't know. These people don't even know about the history of Oak Park, River Forest, Hillside, and Stone Park that surrounded Maywood that a "particular culture" wasn't allowed traveling through there after hours or in some cases during daylight hours. But I digress....
bedrooms are good size but making the extra space in bedroom 2 and 3 as closets already done with the rods or organizers etc. will make a buyer to quickly place a contract as myself Having to go in and spend money to make them closets although it may not be costly it's still money a buyer has to spend and this may possibly make a buyer hesitate on the extra expense Why not rehab totally closets included just my thoughts
@ I live on the west side of Chicago. North Lawndale area. Moving to Austin area. I consider Maywood safer. But I have an aunt that lived in Maywood. Houses aren’t that big for the prices they want now. But supposedly Maywood has a “good” area
@@turtlehead2 The majority of Maywood is bad! The "descent part" of Maywood is south of 290 expressway from 1st Ave. and Roosevelt to maybe 17th. And north of St. Charles Rd. but on the other side of the train tracks. Austin area is bad! The areas that are less drama free is from Austin and Roosevelt to Austin and Madison. Also, Austin and North Ave but go west up to Narragansett or to Harlem. But that will be a different area of Chicago.
First house not worth the price.. Nicely decorated but the loan lending officer didn't care about amenities.. It's what other priorities are selling for in that area.. Called comp report CMV market value...
Maywood is a battle field. I’m stunned any investor would touch that town.
I would take the first floor laundry out and put a full size washer and dryer in the basement and make the kitchen laundry a pantry

nice and tastefully renovated
2nd home is very nice and reasonably priced.
@@selenat264 I thought so too
420k?? In Maywood? Hell naw

Just did a tour of 1607 it's nice
Both properties are renovated very nice, but the second one is more of my style

With those prices and being in maywood, and with those ridiculous high property taxes.
wow $420,000 is a lot and the square footage and rear yard isn't substantial to justify price on the 1st property again my thoughts
I thought the same.

OMG, I can't believe Maywood is expensive. 420K WOW!!!!
Rhonda, there are some BEAUTIFUL places in Maywood. There are a couple of areas that are very nice.
@@Imissyoulou I went to middle school there. So i'm VERY SHOCKED!!!!! It was small. Not sure how it is now. WOW

The 5 bedroom is less than the 3 bedroom. In Maywood. Rob you get around.

You can always negotiate the price. It all depends on how soon they want to sell the property.
The bathroom tile would have to go, along with the Ken and Barbie size washer and dryer
What do you think of these properties?
Very nice home at 704 East Avenue Oakpark for $350,000 For example. And it's move in ready.
Oak Park is expensive because it has good schools. Maywood on the other hand???
I wouldn’t pay that much to live in Maywood and I work in Forest Park. It was nice though.
Thank you! I understand that they're going off of "location" but what about your safety? 😂

What the hell happened to the tile in the basement

I wouldn't pay this much to live in Maywood. When I could go to Oakpark or Forest Park for the same price.
Do you actually think you can get into Oak Park for that price? Really?
Yes,I have seen some currently for sale in that price range.Just look for yourself
There is one for $350,000..704 East Avenue,Oakpark for example.Move in ready nice size.
