After the final event, she was moved to Australia to live under Bruce Hales, who said he would be a father to her. She thought she would be safe there, but the moving around started, and after many attempts of obtaining help from the so called, "Man of God", Abi found that, devestatingly, this was not the case. Thank you for educating me about Exclusive Brethren. Brethren reminds of church I was once I was member of called Jesus Army, they were very much like Exclusive Brethren.

A great podcast by Abi and friends exposing the real PBCC. It is ironic that although the brethren despise the role of females, relegating them to second class, second row citizens only fit for cleaning, cooking, preparing enormous meals for brethren to eat, producing offspring, being unpaid labour in brethren enterprises and so on, these very powerful and incisive podcasts feature the likes of Cheryl, Carman, Jacky, Anne, Ros, Abi and so on, who in past lives have been condemned to silence and having no opinions worth listening to. Perhaps another lesson being learned the hard way by this misogynistic cult.

So wrong that they have no training in counselling. Also the fact that males are asking the questions and no female is present.
In “the world” people are trained how to ask questions or let someone talk without causing more trauma.
