I don't know if Joy ever played on any sports team, but after you win, you're pumped for the challenge of winning the next one. The satisfaction of winning one is so great that you want more. If its yhat exciting for like amateurs and college sport, i can only imagine how pumped the coach and team would be in the NBA. These guys are some of the most competitive humans on the planet.

Keep in mind that during the San Antonio Spurs 'quiet' dynasty, they NEVER won back to back titles. If they can stay healthy, I can definitely see the Nuggets winning two or three more titles before Jokic/Murray retire.

There is no guarantee Bruce Brown will stay. He may get paid somewhere else. And there are other contributing players that could leave for other money. But even if they all stay together they are beatable. Healthy Clippers, cohesive Suns, and even Mavs with good Big can all beat them

Now if we can get the Rockies to win, that would top it all, but that might be fifty years from now. Are the Nuggets a dynasty? Decent take but Coach Malone might have jumped the gun about being a dynasty but they have all of the right pieces and right culture and they currently have the best chance of being a dynasty given the state of the NBA right now. Its hard when peoples bellies are full, Middleton and Giannis were hurt the last two seasons. They also underperformed in the playoffs, now you start to ask why didn't they wall of Giannis like every team did in the finals. We are seeing the same thing again, clog the paint and Giannis shrinks. No hate to the Nuggets but going back 3-4 times is hard, they have the team but so many things can go wrong.

The dynasty talk is ludicrous. Since 2019 the NBA has had 5 different champions. We were literally hearing the same thing after Lakers and then when Bucks won. And guess what, it’s hard to do. Yes the Nuggets have the foundation. But until they win at least 2 chips any dynasty talk for any team is premature.
Last decade alone we had like 6 different teams that had potential to be a dynasty and guess what? There was only one. The Warriors. Most didn’t even make a finals…Congrats to Jokic and Nuggets but let’s see them win another before even bringing this to the table.

They need to win again before you start talking about dynasty. 2019 new champion. 2020 new champion. 2021 new champion. 2022 new champion. 2023 new champion. Nobody has even repeated since 2018 & this year a lot of key players and teams in both conferences had either injuries, roster deficiencies or both. It is highly unlikely next year is going to play out the same way so the competition will be tougher for them. I wouldn't bet my money on Nuggets repeating so I agree with Ric & Joy.
