Sold my 2 seater RR when we had our second girl. Wife has been saying she misses having a SXS (besides the defender).. this type of machine is probably where we will be at if we get back into it. We don't need the top of the line this time.

@@mjuhanil I'm not importing it to Canada. I explained in one of the captions in the video that it's owned by my father and my parents are both American citizens. Like a car it can be used in the US or Canada. It can be brought into Canada and used here. It cannot be sold here or left here permanently. There is a lot to it so you would need to look up the specifics online.

I go over some of the reasons we chose to go with a CFMOTO Z-Force 950 Sport 4 SXS as our four seater family cruiser. I know some of you will think it's an awesome choice and others may not. The reality is we wanted something different and something that more on a modest budget compared to some of the other machines. Let's be honest, I'd love to have a Polaris Xpedition ADV five seater or a Polaris RZR Pro R four seater but it's just way too much money. Since going full time with content creation I've had to adjust how I spend since I don't have a stable "career" or a stable income. I wanted to see if we could take a machine like this and turn it into a comfortable and capable family machine. Since we already have some other awesome two seaters in the stable I didn't need to cover as many bases with this machine which is why we ended up with this unit. So far I'm really happy with it. It's been working well and we have a bunch of upgrades to throw on it. Like always, I'll be giving you all a ton of unbiased and honest feedback on how this machine performs over the next few months. Next trail ride video we will be back in the #BattleWagon and we will be hitting some gnarly trails in Tennessee, hard. So don't worry, we aren't goin soft on ya. Thanks for watching and make sure to leave a comment.

Doesnt matter what anyone else thinks honestly. I had 3 buddies (XP 1000, KRX 1000, and Turbo R) all tell me how impressed they were of my Commander 700. Its been up to Dragons back, Sand mine, Tackett Creek and some nasty trails at Indian Mtn in Alabama. And all told me had tgey not seen me go up some of it they wouldnt even had tried. If you like the machine, it fits your budget, and does what you want it to do, thats really all that matters.

I agree 100% man. At the end of the day all that matters is you are out riding. If your machine gets where the others do then it's a good unit.

I have not exactly been a big fan of the CFMOTO brand in the past but you make a solid argument. But it really should be about the fun not posing withe the biggest, badest custom build that you are afraid to push because you got so much money tied up in it. I have been out with people in many different machines including some ratty little 400cc atvs and we all had a good time and sometimes the larger more expensive machines have more challenges than the simpler smaller machines. I remember some of your earlier videos with Super Greg beating the crap out of his 900 RZR and getting the work done. And how much more excitement when you see a guy with a simple machine do something you didnt think they could do. Nobody cheers too loud for the overbuilt machine that does what you already knew would be a walk in the park. I absolutely agree that the machine has to fit your budget, whatever that is. Good content as always.

Thanks man. Appreciate you and so many others looking at it logically. As you likely picked up, my main goal was to send the message you just identified. Get what you can and just ride. An old machine you use every weekend is 10x better than a brand new top of the line machine that just sits in a garage collecting dust. I feel a lot of people have lost touch with the core aspects that make riding fun. Think back to when we all started riding. We had older machines, they weren’t as capable but we likely had the most fun we will ever have riding on them.

Glad we see eye to eye man. The key is always to get what suits your needs and desires not someone else’s. I was taught to be happy with what I have and I truly am. People can say what they want about this machine but I like it. When I get in it and ride I have a grin from ear to ear. Just like my 2017 RZR turbo. I’ve owned the #BattleWagon since it was new. It’s been beat hard over the last 7 years and I still love every bit of it. Sure, I’d love a brand new RZR Pro R or a Maverick R. However, my 2017 RZR is built the way I want it. It’s an extension of my body at this point. I feel proud when I’m in it. I love driving it and it can still hold with most the newer machines. To me that’s half the fun. Some people always want the newest and flashiest stuff, I like it too but I don’t really have much of an ego to bolster so I just enjoy what I’ve got.

Great video! So many wonderful points. I bought my Commander Max ten months before the ZForce 4 was released. Blake and I have parked next to each other, just as we did in MS. The CFMoto and my Can Am are eerily similar. To that point, the quality, IMHO, is almost even as well. One thing for sure, the doors on the ZForce are better. I could’ve saved almost $6k USD and that because I went with an XT model, XTP (adjustable suspension, 30s and beadlocks) is almost $10k more. That covers the wheels, tires, clutch kit, tune, windshields, sound system and extra lights that I’d add to the ZForce. I love my Commander, but to say I didn’t pay a premium for a Can Am badge is a blatant fallacy.
Keep up the great work! Your crystal clear honesty is refreshing. I can see why you and Blake hit it off. Can’t wait to ride with you again.

It was a pleasure meeting you in MS man. Your comment is spot on. Sometimes people forget I’ve spent the last 12 years around all of these various machines and watched them evolve. Some people may think I’m brand biased but I’m not. Just look at our crew, we ride it all and we all appreciate the various brands and models. I looked very closely at a can-am Maverick sport and commander before settling on this unit and you outlined many key reasons in your comment. I try to be as honest as I can and Blake is also an honest guy. Thanks man. I’ve been getting some hate on even giving cf moto a chance. I’ve lost some long time subscribers as a result and that’s just the cold hard truth. However, I feel I’ve gained some great new viewers along the way, the positive overall outweighs the negative. I’ve also made some great new friends in the cfmoto community. When I decided to give the “lesser” brands a shot I did it to change things up. I’ve been making content for a really long time now on TH-cam and I needed a bit of a creative change to keep myself entertained. I openly doubted this brand and voiced that for many years. I promised to keep an open mind when I got one and my opinions have been shifted based on real world Experiences. Regardless of what some say, I’m not changing sides. I’m not out here telling people cfmoto is the best and to buy one. I’m just showing what they can do like we show with all the other machines. I think it being a Chinese company has a lot to do with the hate I’ve experienced but I’m not here to discuss politics, just how machines work. Absolutely everyone is making videos about the RZR and Maverick. I figured that since I’d been seeing more cfmoto everywhere I go people would want a real world comparison of these units. I still have 3 RZR’s at home but I’m a driver at heart. I enjoy driving any machine. They all offer a difference experience and I’ve really had fun driving the HO EX I have. I plan to add a few Segway units into the mix in the near future to further fuel this fire, lol. Heck…. Maybe I’ll get a Hisun…. That should really ruffle some feathers. At the end of the day my opinion is that any machine that can go out on a ride and generally keep up with the pack is a decent unit regardless of brand. You can hate Honda civics but a properly built and driven civic can destroy cars worth 4-5X as much on the track. So you can keep hating that civic but in a race a win is a win. Same applies on the trails in my mind. Thanks for taking the time to make such a well thought out and meaningful comment man. I appreciate your feedback.

I'm no hater of cfmoto (or any brand), I was set on buying a 2022 zforce 950 until I sat in one. I ended up buying my polaris pro xp 100% on comfort. At 6'4" and 320lbs, Cfmoto sat way too far upright and was too tight for my knees. I try to keep things real and the reality is that the biggest deciding factor in most vehicles purchases is budget. You can have just as much fun on a racetrack in a Ford mustang, VW golf or Honda civic as you can in a Porsche, Lamborghini or Ferrari. It's about appreciating what you have and what you can afford. The same goes for powersports. The best machine is the one you can ride the most and afford.

CFMOTO you may give up a bit of the bells and whistles, not as much as in the past though. I'm on my second one now, first came the 21 UForce 800 nice machine .... nice roomy with enough power just a little rough. I wouldn't have been as comfortable after a 12 hour run like I had today. Second came along when I wanted more comfort, the sole reason to upgrade I bought the 23 950 HO EX .... not quite as roomy as the UForce was but way better ride. Just cranked over the 2000KM mark today, since November no Issues at all just a torn CVBoot ..... Loving it.
If I would have had to buy Polaris or CanAm I would have been forced to buy used, maybe someone else's problems .... who knows. I'm out riding and having fun that's the big difference. Still considering the Dacker Rally but not sure if I'll be ready .... who knows you may see me there.

Great input man. All valid points. My 2022 Z-Force 950 HO EX has been bullet proof so far too and I've been hard on it. I drive it like a rental. It's not as comfortable as my RZR Turbo, doesn't have as much power but it is honestly a ton of fun to drive. It's peppy and responsive. It sounds wicked with the GGB exhaust system. It's been reliable. It's got less than half of what I've got into my RZR Turbo invested into it and it is far from half the machine. Let haters hate, but if you look at it logically with an open mind then you can't argue that the quality and performance of the CF Moto machines has improved drastically over the last 4-6 years. Many of you will know that many times over the years I spoke negatively about the brand because back then they left a lot to be desired. I am open minded and realistic enough to admit when things change though. Some people won't like CF Moto no matter what, just like some guys will never like a Ford Truck or a Honda car. The variety keeps things interesting.

Ya, I think it’s important to live within your means. It’s like when people go out and spend 100k on a car and complain about fuel costs. If you can truly afford a 100k car you likely shouldn’t be concerned with fuelling it. If you want to save money on fuel for buy a nice used car for 30k and save yourself 70k. Same goes for the SXS world. Buy what you can afford and what serves your needs. When we are out riding it’s like you said, we bust chops. We egg eachother on and make fun of eachother. It’s half the fun. But when you make it up a climb and the rest don’t, no one cares what you’re driving. We give credit where credit is due. It’s about fun at the end of the day.

We haven't had a ton of seat time in it yet but overall when you factor in the price point it rides well, even with 4 people in it. The factory seats could use a little more cushion in our opinion but they are far from the worst factory seats we have sat in. I feel that if we put in a set of nice suspension seats this thing would feel really nice. I'm also going to explore options for upgraded springs in the future. Overall though, so far we are happy. Congrats on your new ride too!!

Heck, for that 80k or a little more you could have one of these CF Motos or a used rzr AND s dedicated real offroad rig used. Jeep, toyota etc.

If you want specific info on how to import and what's involved the best place to look is on the Canadian and US border/customs websites. I already have 3 RZR's and a 2 seater CF Moto that has served me way better than I ever expected it would. Factoring in those machines and that I was after a family cruiser I felt this was a solid choice on a more "reasonable" budget. It's a nice looking machine that's quite refined compared to many of their previous models and I know that they will sell a lot of these units. It just made sense to get something not everyone else that is creating content is driving. Time will tell if this was a good choice or not. Like always I will be open with my opinions and I will be truthful as to how the machine holds together. It's fun playing as the underdog from time to time. If I enjoy it and it treats me well I'll hold on to it for a while. If it disappoints me and lets me down I'll cut my loses and try something different. That's that. I still believe you get what you pay for generally speaking and as I said in the video if I could only have one machine then this is not the unit I would pick. I don't know how I could be more open and honest than that.

I had been a long time subscriber but this is just tough to watch. For what it’s worth, I’m not into SXS but I always loved your videos - trail riding, time with friends/family. Your videos had always been so amazing, well videoed (is that a word?) and amazingly edited. But sadly, I really don’t know what’s been happening. As mentioned, I don’t trail ride, but always lived vicariously through your videos. That said, this is NOT unbiased - so why are we pretending here? This is just a 28 minute sales pitch, all pros and not ONE single CON? Isn’t there anything you’re concerned about? Is there not features, technology or components that would have at least provided some balance to the equation. No, let’s pander to CFmoto while standing next to a CFmoto dealer while wearing a CFMoto sweatshirt and hat and call that unbiased?
It’s not even that CFMoto is a Chinese company, I couldn’t care less; for what it’s worth I do appreciate you telling us that this was discounted and I understand totally your reasoning for buying this unit. However, this just feels so.. fake. It’s all just upfront cost, got it, it’s cheaper point taken. What about total cost of ownership, availability of parts, dealer network, repairability, and last but not least manufacturer reputation. I would almost guarantee that a Honda would retain a higher resale value over this - period, should that not factor in?
Apology for the wall of text, I am very happy for you and your new machine - I’m sure it will be a wonderful unit for you and your family. I just didn’t initially tune in so many years back for what is now just a giant propaganda piece.

Hey man. I hear ya. I value your feedback and your viewership. It was an explanation of why I got this machine. It’s not really a sales pitch to be honest. I openly said if I could only have e one machine this would not be it. Since we have a few units it’s a great addition as a budget family cruiser. The ride videos aren’t going anywhere. The reality is in order to do this fulltime like I’m doing now I have to vary the content a bit. That’s the honest truth. I still have three RZR’s parked in my garage. The last cfmoto I got has served me very very well. Is resale good? No, not as good as some of the bigger brands but the aftermarket is most definitely catching up. I’m not really being biased, as I truthfully like this machine. When i got the first cfmoto I promised I’d keep an open mind and I have. Truthfully part of me wanted it to fall apart and another part of me thought it wouldn’t stand a chance. I was wrong and I’ve voiced that. Time will tell how long it will hold together. My intention isn’t to turn away long term viewers like you. If you don’t enjoy some of the non-riding content then it’s cool to ignore it. Blake is legitimately a friend of mine. Yes, he works for a cfmoto dealership but our families are friends. Wives get along, kids love eachother. I don’t just go around whoring myself out to any dealer or brand. You know that. It’s hard being in my shoes sometimes too. I’ve been blessed to be able to pursue this passion of mine fulltime but I do still need to pay the bills. If this machine falls apart I will show it. If it does well, I will show it. The team at MSC has told me to be honest and have not given me any direction content wise. They are good people which is why i support them. They have also helped me and are helping support my passion and project. I really do value all your feedback and I personally struggle myself with having to put out content that isn’t just focused on riding. That’s the cold hard truth. My goals are pure though. I still focus on providing meaningful and entertaining content. I love this industry and I’m super passionate about it. If you like discovery channel and you like a bunch of the shows you won’t stop watching it if they air one show you don’t like. All I ask of you and my other viewers is the same courtesy. There may be some content you enjoy more and some you don’t like as much. I’m trying my best here to find a healthy and tasteful balance while maintaining sponsor/partner relationships and also having fun with friends and family. This project and this channel would not be possible without my partners, that’s just the reality of it. I hope you can understand where I am coming from. With all that being said, I will take your feedback to heart and do my best to use it in a positive way to improve future content. Thanks for taking the time to leave me such detailed feedback.

Hey man. Super happy to hear you’ve been out packing on the miles and having a ton of fun. The best machine is the one that gets used the most. I’ve driven a 2004 vw golf tdi for like 15 years. I’ve built it quite heavily over those years but overall it’s a cheaper old car that’s rough around the edges but is sooooo damn fun to drive and so cheap to operate. People rip by me in their expensive new cars and they are sweet, I’d love to have one, however, I really do think I’m having more fun in my little go cart. I love how it stinks, I love how it pushes me back in the seat when it hits over 30 psi on the boost gauge and rolls coal like a freight train. Others prob look at it and think they would never want to drive it, well I’d never want to get rid of it. Experiences in life are so subjective. To one man $100 dollars is not much to another $1000 is not much to many $10,000 is not much but to some $10 is a lot. When the man who values $10 has fun he isn’t experiencing any less joy. I think people need to reconnect with the true values and reasons we like to ride. A true rider can appreciate and enjoy any machine. I really do hope we can cross paths on the trails in the future because I know we would have a wonderful time riding together.

Cant compare stock axles when 1 machine is 90hp and not enough hp to break an axle and a 4 seater on a arm rear is a poor ride. Atleaat a polaris, krx or can am has radius rod rear suspension. U get what u pay for.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

It wasn't really a serious comparison axle wise. Just an example that the components aren't all that bad. Polaris RZR Sport models and Can-Am Maverick Sport models also run rear a-arms. This is a 60 inch sport model. My 2022 Z-Force 950 HO EX has trailing arm rear end with radius rods. You do get what you pay for, that's exactly what we talked about. The decision the buyer needs to make is how much do they want to spend based on their needs and expectations. I have a fully built RZR Turbo, my intentions with this machine are much more modest. I think the take away here is that if you are on a tighter budget and have realistic expectation then it's a machine worth considering. I will be testing it long term so we will see how it does. I'm not pro CF Moto or Pro Polaris or Pro Kawasaki. I really do like features of all the machines. What I like most though is being out riding and seeing how all the machines stack up against each other in real world conditions, side by side.

Hey man. No argument out of me. To each his own. Happy to hear you enjoy the channel. When I make videos I simply focus on the machines and what they have to offer. I don't focus on the political end of things. I know there has been quite a bit of CFMOTO related content lately and even some Segway stuff but it's not me changing sides or anything. Just trying to shake things up to keep them interesting. At the end of the day when it comes down to it if I had to choose I'd still say I'm a Polaris guy at heart but I've been trying to keep an open mind and try some new things. As we move forward things will continue to evolve and machines will hopefully keep changing too. I'd love to bring some other machines onto the fleet but I just can't afford to purchase the flagship models from the other brands and those other brands don't seem interested in offering me any kind of a break or opportunity to showcase their products unfortunately. I work with what I've got and what I can get my hands on, that's the reality of it.

I know that makes some people uncomfortable and I agree that we should support North American and European businesses before those in Asia but like you mentioned, it’s everywhere. If prices are similar I’ll buy North American made over Chinese but in the current economy I’m more interested in keeping money in my own pockets. I know that this mindset is part of the problem overall, I’m not naive to that. I know that being complacent like this is part of what got us to this point but I also believe that the problem is so large at this point that I myself or the average Joe can’t really do much about it in the bigger picture. Our market is flooded with offshore goods. I know it may not be the best answer or view. To be honest though, I didn’t even think of that as a variable when choosing this machine. Just wanted to get something more budget friendly and have fun with my family. I’d argue that the only silver lining is that you can support American brands still driving a machine like this. MSC is a USA owned company employing many small town Americans. Many American brands make aftermarket parts and accessories for these machines like skid plates from Trail Armor or suspension components from Moorehead Engineering. GGB exhaust systems are manufactured in Canada, etc.

Not only are the majority of parts in your machine made in China, but so are most things you buy on Amazon and the household items you own. Unless you ensuring that everything you buy made in America, Canada or Europe. If you can afford something more expensive, go ahead.
However, we are both self-employed with two kids, living in a challenging economy. We still want to enjoy life, travel, and show our kids the world through riding, and this machine fit our budget.
I don’t understand why people think that creating videos on TH-cam makes us automatically millionaires. We are just ordinary people who want to get the most out of life through experiences. Why would we buy an expensive machine if we can't use it often? We've saved a lot of money, which we can invest in taking our family riding somewhere exciting.

@@kseniiajasinski yup, exactly. That’s the main reason we got it. Kseniia and I had many long discussions about which machine was right for us. Like we discussed in the video, we really did weigh out all the options before choosing this unit. The choice had nothing to do with supporting China. It was about getting maximum bang for buck. The reality is that it’s our governments that have sold us out and let us down. It’s not the average citizen that is to blame for our current state of economy. Look at the political mess we are in both in the United States and Canada. That has nothing to do with decisions I’ve made or most average citizens have made. There are so many problems in the world and unfortunately we can’t just fix them. So what we choose to do is adapt and survive. We put our family and friends first and make the decisions we need to make to accomplish that.

What was I knocking? I'm quite open. I openly knocked CF Moto a few years back, I've admitted that multiple times and I've had a CF Moto for around a year before getting this one. A few years back their machines were nothing like they are now. Opinions change. I often say I like all the machines. They all have pros and cons. We all have out favorites but I don't really feel I "knock" one brand more than any other. We bust chops on rides and obviously we all "judge" machines based on performance but I think most would agree I'm pretty open minded and try to be as unbiased as I can. Anytime you voice an opinion publicly some people won't agree.

So you put a value on your family’s life. I’d rather spend more and have a better safer machine for the family.

How does this affect my families life? It's a machine we got for light to moderate trail riding. That's like saying you shouldn't drive a 2015 mini van or SUV because a brand new mini van or Cadillac Escalade is "safer" because it's newer. So do people who drive a Kia or Hyundai put a value on their families lives too? I'm not trying to be argumentative but your comment ignores the fact that many people can't just "spend more" on something. I get it, you don't like the CF Moto, it's Chinese crap, lol. The underlying message in this video is not to go buy a CF Moto or a Polaris or a Can-Am specifically. It's to buy what suits your perceived needs and current budget.

Wish TN wasn’t so far and also wish you guys in Mississippi weren’t so dang far. Still well worth the drive. It’s always a pleasure spending time with you, your family and the whole crew at MSC. Some people may think it’s just a sales pitch but there’s a lot more to it than that. It’s a group of friends and like minded individuals all pursing a common passion. We all have to work, some of us are just lucky enough to do something we really enjoy.
