On the support build I'd remove Maximize Duration and get MP Accelerant instead. You'll get a little less duration, but you'll get more MP which means stronger buffs. Duration doesn't need to be absolutely maxed, as it only affect the duration of the buff AFTER you stop refreshing it.. So for example, when you trigger Enhance DPS buff, you can just sit on it for a few more seconds to keep refreshing it a few time before swapping back to the other buff cycles and you'll get more mileage. Doing it that way you can maintain the buff 19 seconds total baseline without ANY duration mods.
@@katm.3927 Yeah I go over swapping stuff as wanted in the video. I just didn't notice CDR had no larger effect for her support kit as well. I have mainly played the DPS version, but was taking input from folks in my discord and friends that have been playing support.
I think it'd be easy to buff DPS for her....even just a little bit. You talk about a faster rhythm.... but I don't think the rhythm needs to be faster. You know how in music games (where you have to hit the notes (like Luna)) they have those notes where you HOLD the button down, and the prompt on the screen is a long line. They should just had that in Luna's little rhythm mini game. Idk how to add/activate it.... but basically during the entire time of that long line, you can spam the attack with the gun, without missing any notes. If you use a skill or run out of ammo... it ends that long line. This would allow players to shot her gun at will, as many times as they can during that note hold. Something else I had thought of, to help her do a little bit of damage out put....... every time she activates a skill and gets that pulse (where it changes color)... it could do a single instance of damage on that initial pulse. Kind of like if enemies are overwhelming the team, she can use that to do some aoe damage.
One problem though, cooldown reduction doesnt reduce the cooldown on songs when you succeed at them on beat. So CDR only helps whem you fuck up song. It's mostly useless.
My chief complaints about Luna revolve around how one-trick she is as a support: 1. She can't heal (Jaber and Yujin can) 2. She only buffs Skill Power builds (and classes like Bunny and Gley don't even need her mana buff). 3. She has almost zero personal damage contribution (and no other class has to give up their weapon to perform their role) 4. Her special weapon can't target weak points (Frost Walker immune phase for example) and in order to do so you have to turn off your special weapon and forfeit any stacks you have. Every Colossus I've joined takes so much longer to kill than when I bring a damaging character. I really enjoy her but I just feel like I'm holding everyone else back.
thank you! I would like to turn off her "auto aim box" not the auto aim feature itself, I love that she has that, just the outline of the box. it distracts me. EDIT: I wanted ask, why so much CDR? the handful of other creators I've seen have said that it is not worth chasing CDR on her and it only matters if you miss notes. Is that untrue?
My personal issue is I think her dmg might be bugged considering out of the 3 vulgas types seems like she only does real damage to 1 of them and thats the poison ones where the dmg is about x3
Could give me a rundown of your thinking behind modding for CDR? Her skills have 2 cooldowns, one for when you hit the note and one for when you miss. Only the failed note cooldown is reduced by mods so as long as you don't miss hitting the notes, CDR mods have no use for her. At least that is how I understand it
They need to let Luna do mini game where we don’t have to worry about missing a note it is a pain when you are in a heavy gun fire you have to not mess up notes and dodge and shoot and buff
im so confused how people are insta spamming the ability but when i hit it on beat i legit have to still wait 3 seconds.. also how are people riding on the little hover board when they enhance a skill but when i do an enhanced skill im legit stuck in my spot? i have nimble footsteps so what am i missin or doing wrong?

I play warframe and TFD and not saying that this rhythm character should be like the other but i like the way Octavia is an offensive and supportive asset i dont know how to fix Luna , which i why named and easy buff and said "give her a heal" but i dont know. To me im kinda biase towards Octavia and i wouldnt mind if luna was like that.
Yeah outside of her utility she just seems really out of placed compared to everyone else. Even if you play support and slot in damage for her gun, you are looking at maybe getting 200-300k crits. Which isn't much when you are fighting a bosses lvl of def/res and can't actually aim the gun at weakpoints / immunity protections. Then throwing the pace of the rhythem in there compared to almost every other character shooting a gun with 20x the firerate of your rhythem lol. In a perfect world, tbh I would like to see her unique weapon get trashed as something she holds out all the time, and maybe have it be a super juiced gun she uses with a cooldown.

Yeah, I don't know what this guy is on. Building CDR is literally one of the worst things you can do with Luna.

I think they should make dps module more accessible. It's locked behind combining or end game boss rn. Makes me not want to bother with Luna.

If you can swap songs on time, don't use cooldown reduction as it will not benefit you. Cooldown only benefits if you misplay a song
How the 800 though? I see 540 while maxed. Proper reactor to.

That is the support version of Luna that you are playing. You need a mod called Noise Surge to play her DPS spec
