Tengo un podcast de meditación y me gustaría añadir vídeo, pero de mi, sino de paisajes o imágenes relajantes ¿recomiendas alguna biblioteca de videos largos?
Hi riverside, thankyou for the content... I have a question, why I cannot turn on my camera when i try to start my recording process? meanwhile, my PC Camera is already on
It may be a browser privacy settings, see if there's a pop up from your browser asking to allow the camera. Also, you may want to try an alternative browser, Chrome or Edge, whichever you're not using to see if that works!
Hi All, I'm trying to make a video podcast/video shorts for my business. I'm looking for some technical help. I tried Riverside (free version), but I won't recognize the mic or the phone camera. Happy to use Riverside if I can get it work. Seems like a great solution and seems easy to use. I'm just looking for the easiest way to get connected in any program and be able to edit etc. I'm a total noob obviously. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I believe I will shoot the video and record the audio and then synch. I'm not totally sure how that works, but right now I just need sound and video. I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2 in 2 4th Gen, my electric guitar (Gibson SG with Seymour Duncan Seth Lover PUPS) and a WA 47jr (XLR mic). I also have an android phone and a PC. I have Studio One Artist (DAW), but not sure that is the best route since I'm not totally sure how to use it and it's way more involved. I've gotten the audio interface to work within Studio One and Guitar Rig 7, so I know that is not the issue. Thanks!
Hey Rob! When using an audio interface like that, Riverside will combine both inputs into one track. It should stay in sync along with the video, but you won’t be able to edit the audio separately.
@@Riversidefm Riverside does not recognize my audio interface and or mic. It also does not recognize my Android phone. Without that there is nothing to combine. Also a Focusrite does not work with an Android phone. I tried and then Focusrite confirmed it only works with Windows, Mac and IOS., but not Android. Also I need to be able to edit the audio. But again there is no audio to edit. I'm using Studio One and then synching the video with the audio in Adobe. If someone can provide a real answer I would gladly use Riverside. I even talked to tech support for Riverside and their answer was we don't support that. This is of course contrary to statements made in Riverside TH-cam videos. Riverside literally recommends the Focusrite Scarlett 2 in 2 and they specifically say the program works with a PC.
You may need to increase the lighting on your face to help Riverside distinguish it from the background, and making the background as "flat" as possible will help. Removing items that may be near your head, etc.
@@Riversidefm I am sure..I would have to see age demo breakdown of the growth though before i make any assumptions about how effective it is for any specific podcaster.
@@nate_thenotso_great Yup 35+ Apple is huge. People focus so much on Spotify but that skews way younger. I am totally open to YT and will be putting my podcast there for sure but I want to see demographics of podcast growth there. Too much general information and advice in the biz world. Details matter.....
Our show relies heavily on editing and cutting (ummm's, a pause here and there) and even though we use riverside, I always produced the show externally. My fear is, that cutting the "umms" in the video sphere, this could be annoying for our viewers. Anyone got some experience there?
Cutting out too many um’s can cause jerky video edits if there’s a large number of them. But you can also preview what it looks like and undo the removal in the Riverside editor!
my video podcast channel has gotten basically no traction or views after a year of posting weekly. idk if podcasts have the same discoverability as regular videos.
If you’re interesting, I break down this TH-cam channel which just crossed 100K subscribers with video interview podcasts: th-cam.com/video/aglbGxXiI2U/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Gse-uDYtr9nvY65D
Riverside has definitely been instrumental to getting my video podcast, Tell Me Más, launched in the last few weeks!
Amazing! So great to hear!
Yes, love your work ❤❤❤
Thank you so much!

Maybe your browser blocks it? Look in settings if camera is allowed

@@Riversidefm Thank you for the answer I will try another browser
I'm on pro plan. Can we upload our video and let the AI edit to make vertical videos ?
You can! Depending on the format it may crop to the middle of the video. Recording it in Riverside allows formatting multiple people without cropping.
Could you please release graphics, lower thirds and thumbnail pack so i can add to my podcasts ❣
What do you mean by thumbnail pack? Love the sound of that!

I was glitchy in my background how do I make the background that Riverside provides not be glitchy?

It depends on the age of your viewers. 35+ apple is still big
This is helpful. I am starting a podcast that will be more geared toward parents of that age range, maybe a little younger.
Apple Podcasts still has a wide audience! But the growth has slowed there and moved to TH-cam.

Awesome
Appreciate it!
If they work well on TH-cam music I'd never use Spotify forever
YT Music works for podcasts well too!
