VoIP has undoubtedly become very popular, and businesses want to shift to VoIP from landlines. This video is informative and helpful to understand how VoIP works and allows businesses can make an informed decision and shift to this phone system.
i'd rather have old landline phone because of it being isolated and working when everything else is down. seems like we are taking a step back because this is FAR more important to me as it acts like an emergency way of communicating.
Good video. It explains VoIP well at a high level that's understandable by almost anyone. There is a slight correction, though. VoIP calls don't need fast internet or high bandwidth. They need high-quality internet connections. On the other hand, unified communications systems do need speed in addition to quality.
during the conversation I received a message: «Thank you for sharing your feedback! If you are reporting a problem, please describe it in as much detail as possible. If your question is not related to calls, it can increase our support: relevance in applications and click "Ask a question" on the bottom page.» I didn't send a review. what does it mean?
If I'm somewhere where there's no cellular phone operator range, but I have access to the Internet, and a phone that uses Voip, can I still just use my REGULAR phone number, and make a phone call still using my REGULAR phone number, and the person I'm calling to will not even realize any difference, because they see my regular phone number on theirs screen? Don't you dare to misunderstand me!
@dahomiee: 🤦♂️. “VoIP” (ie. literally: “Voice over I.P.”. ie. “Voice over Internet-Protocol”) is literally, “phone through the-Internet”. ie. [the program] Skype or [the program] “Net2Phone”. You’re literally paying every-month for something you can get *GRATIS* (in the case of Skype for Skype-to-Skype calls), or a hugely-low charge for “ to phonecalls”.
