I gotta say, I really like zod's design. From his militant look, how he carries himself, and his voice, he seems to be a man of great discipline who thinks himself highly righteous. Not just some 2 bit villain.
I also like they made him look different. Not saying anything about ethnicity and whatnot, just stating how every zod has been shown to be white, except this one.
Personally, I don't believed that Danny died. His brain is the kaiser thrall core. If m'comm killed it, the kaiser thrall would have stopped to function and wouldn't have been able to immobilise m'gann and her team. I think that his residual consciousness has just been suppressed.

Ursa might be pregnant with him now because in the future Lor was born in the phantom zone but his parents were sent back after their sentence was lifted. This is BEFORE they were released
I wonder if this would've played out differently if they had called Halo to connect with Danny instead of using Orion's Motherbox. At the very least she could've likely defend Danny against M'comm after how much stronger she's gotten since the whole Granny Goodness & Ghost Dimension ordeal. Halo probably could've helped be the bridge to the "frequency" of the Zone for Phantom Girl considering she's a hybridized human/motherbox herself. The simplest solution is usually the best one~
The reasoning behind using an actual Mother Box instead of Halo is that Danny needed actual tech to hack into. Halo might have the powers of a mother box, but they're still organic, so they would've had the same problem Phantom Girl did.
@@tykross Yes but Phantom Girl's powers are solely to phase herself (and others) between other dimensions and Bgztl, thats why frequencies are useless to her. Violet does not share that feature. Halo on the other hand *can* create boom tubes all on their own and because they're a motherbox in an organic body, its possible they could make use of the frequency to open a tube. Phantom Girl's limitation does not apply to Halo and being psychically linked to the latter via M'gann in theory should be enough. Connecting to a motherbox was the alternative since you can't psychically link to them regardless.
I think Cyborg would’ve been better actually. Halo is human/organic now so I think it would’ve been the same problem. Cyborg is part machine and is shown capable to interface with technology (“become the information superhighway” towards the end of season 3)

Granted the zone has the same issue with many US prison facilities as it offers no means of betterment and instead only allows for pre existing problems to fester, but ideally you'd want a system that'd release people when they've reformed, else they will just continue to do whatever got them imprisoned in the first place. Though with beings that have the abilities of gods like the forces of Zod, you'd want measures to ensure the reform without any doubt else you'll completely destabilize the intergalactic power balance and that's never good.
Looks like the theory about Superboy's severe injuries coming back the moment he stepped out of the Phantom Zone was true. I have a feeling Lor Zod and General Zod will fight based on what to do with Conner since one wants Conner dead and the other wants Conner to serve the house of Zod. I also have a bad feeling Superman will die😭
I understand the burns but I just don't get how injuries that were given in the Phantom Zone can transfer into reality. It's impossible to die in the Phantom Zone, the Zone is disconnected from the corporeal world it his wounds from the devoured should be non existent. I mean Zod himself said there are worse things than devoured and yet he various others survived without a scratch. I always thought that if Connor willed it his injuries would dissappear since Willpower is the number one constant in the Zone. I do hope Dru-Zod decides to save Connor.
That was the most WILD escalation in one episode out of all the seasons so far. What a move by the writers to be so direct with tying things together, I truly hope HBO is paying attention and renews them for more (but with episodes longer than 23 min.)

The Dru-Zod who wanted to take over the galaxy is still trapped in the alternative timeline, where he fathered the time-traveling Lor-Zod. This Dru-Zod had only tried to coup Krypton so far and has never had children. He might try to avoid his alternate self’s fate but who knows if that means galaxy conquest or not.
But he didn't know about the yellow sun properties on his Kryptonian genetics. Now he does so who really cares when you can have a squad of superman-like people under your command.

This is going to be interesting. Not only will Meghan have to deal with the fact that her friends kept her in the dark, but also that her brother is irredeemable. And now Zod is out-what Will Darkseid want? Darkseid is too smart to keep his word with the kryptonians, they are too powerful and tyrannical. Zod won’t fall in line with him because Zod can’t accept being #2. But Darkseid has his agents attached to the mission….can’t wish to see how Darkseid ends getting the benefits form the fight.
Honestly I was thinking the same thing that maybe DarkSeid and Zod will fight but that's very unlikely. It most likely won't come to that tbh. Darkseid himself influenced all of this by giving them the father box and creating the team. So it's most likely he did this with the intention of having them make an army and go fight the heros or whatever. Or maybe he just wanted to see where it goes and what happens.
Maybe he wants them to be his army since he helped them, but Idk about that one. Zod doesn't seem like the type to bend a knee to anyone especially when he has an army, but maybe he might of the warriors pride type thing where since DarkSeid helped him he's in debted to darkseid so he may feel as though he has to serve him for some period of time or forever. It could go so many ways. I'm excited
I'm thinking that the team will come through, shut down the boom tube by destroying Chase/Thrall, then it'll be a battle royale between the House of Zod + Malefahk and the team. Either Connor will stop Zod from killing Superman and end up getting killed in the process, or Zod will try to use Connor as a hostage and Superman will die. Whatever happens, I doubt anyone is walking away from this unscathed.

Two things I want to comment: 1) I keep wishing a character would connect the dots: that maybe the disappearance of Chameleon boy and Saturn girl might mean they are in trouble if they are not answering Phantom's girl at first. Add to the fact that Megan's brother was seen trying to help open the phantom zone. I don't know why, but I keep picturing either Batman or Question urging caution. 2) wonder what would have happened if Zatanna did bring everyone back to earth, but in the tower of fate. Sure the criminals would have superman's powers, but they are also very vulnerable to magic and can get trapped/lost there like Klarion did. Plus, if they are there, maybe Nightwing had some backup kryptonite just in case?
@@megancheang7858 Does it? In s1 the tower took them from inside a normal room to a lava pit to somewhere akin to Antartica to a room with infinite staircases travelling in every conceivable direction. I feel like the tower has the ability to limit their access to yellow sun radiation.
I saw everything and I can’t get over it, also, M’Gann’s brother isn't a brother at all, he's a monster and traitor to his own kind. Also, I'm glad that Conner is out of the Phantom Zone, yet he's severely injured and I'm not sure if he's gonna make it or not. Lastly, now that this dude has his parents back, what will they do now, will they rule the world 🌎 by the sword 🗡️ or kill Superman and the rest of the Justice League or SOMETHING?
I'm thinking this Zod will be similar to Man of Steel Zod, in that, he really wants to save his civilization instead of being just mustache-twirling villain.
With Zod back, this will damage the game between Savage and Darkseid. A tyrannical warmonger like Zod will not follow some game being played. He will now be the third player. I can see Darkseid and Savage willing to aid the heroes to put Zod back into the Phantom Zone.
On the contrary I think Darkseid counted on Zod and the Kryptonians escaping, otherwise why help LorZod in the first place? I dont know how the Zods will interact with Darkseid now(assuming they dont get trapped again in the next episode) but there is one more thing we know of: the House of Zod really despises New Genesis, Apokolips main enemy. So I think Darkseid and the House of Zod will come to a truce similar to the Darkseid Savage one. They destroy their enemies first and then they will face each other. Also I agree that Savage will not be pleased at all about this which might break his alliance resulting in the war against Apokolips in the next season.
I want more Danny Chase, I mean if they can fix Jason todd and Damien Wayne's characters after fan backlash I know they can do the same for Danny. I see great potential in this character for great development if given the right writers and young Justice proves it can do justice no pun intended for these beloved characters. Yes, I know Danny wasn't that beloved of a character when he first appeared back in the day but I feel he deserves another chance all he needs is to be better written that all.

No way bruh. First of all Lor is full Kryptonian while connor is only half and he doesn't have flight or laser. Besides Lor has already shown superior feats like one shotting orion, knocks down metron, fast enough to laser bart and kill tomar re. Connor is very nerfed in this series but I agree connor vs lor zod is the fight to happen
@@Sureshpillai86 I know he most likely can't win i just need to see that for personal reasons. And the fight isn't as one sided as that. Taking in a couple of factors he can put up a good fight. Merton first of all isn't a fighter in the least nor did he fight lor he was attacked while still dazed from razor then immediately lazer'ed from the Kaiser thrall. He definitely did not one shot Orion the cage match was very one sided in Orion's favor. Speed wise he didn't show very impressive speed he kept track of a speedster but he has been shown to be that fast not sure if connor can do the same. Connor has fought a full Kryptonian clone held his own and could tank hits from amaz-o and superman not holding back when he was less than 6 years old and this is like around 20 years later and I very much doubt Lor matches up to either in strength. So connor has experience fighting bigger and stronger opponents Kryptonian or not and training from martial artist. But how connor is now burned, soon to be bleeding out, and mind fucked from the zone he's not beating anyone.
@@tboy817 Lor wasn't focused on fighting Orion until the projector was destroyed. When he got angry he knocked him unconscious. As for metron he is not much of a fighter but he is still a powerful new god. And reacting to bart is impressive cuz he is on the level of flash. And even if both has equal strength, lor is far more ruthless and efficient. He has other useful abilities like lasers which can go through a green lantern. And finally Conor is the biggest punching bag in the show. He is only there to take the attacks. It is evident from his fights in season 1 with blockbuster, amazo, match, teekl, and later blue bettle and mongul also trashed him. And like you said he has critical injuries and probably won't fight for a while

It'd be a decent fight but victory would be lors it wouldn't be that easy Metron if hes strong why was he so easily knocked out of his chair twice or finish off mantis, and lor as they were down instead of running for help. And lor did knock down Metron with help after he was midflight after razor hit him. As connor is a punching bag by stronger villains that shows he can take hits from Krptonians at their peak kryptonians and others that easily surpass Lor. Lor did not one shot orion he knocked him down lazered the bubble and flew away his lazer also did nothing to orion but ruin his clothes.

Unzoned Zod looks a lil too similar to Black Lightning in terms of design. I'm a bit disappointed they didn't get his face looking more distinct. Hopefully thats fixed in future episodes
Something I noticed in the last few episodes Ursa and Dru are talking like they never had a child I think the phantom zone Connor is in is in the past. I’m convince that Lorzod has no idea that he has brought a past version of his parents who have no idea who he is.

Right now they don't have powers but under a yellon sun I don't think orion can handle them. He is nerfed here. Lor zod one shotted him and I am sure dru zod is even more powerful

I think this is setting up for a big plot reveal no one is expecting. I think MM read phantom girls mind and is going to change the future. It would be really fucking cool if she even got an pseudo villain arc because of this.

The Dru-Zod who wanted to take over the galaxy is still trapped in the alternative timeline, where he fathered the time-traveling Lor-Zod. This Dru-Zod had only tried to coup Krypton so far and has never had children. He might try to avoid his alternate self’s fate but who knows if that means galaxy conquest or not.

Honestly I was thinking the same thing that maybe DarkSeid and Zod will fight but that's very unlikely. It most likely won't come to that tbh. Darkseid himself influenced all of this by giving them the father box and creating the team. So it's most likely he did this with the intention of having them make an army and go fight the heros or whatever. Or maybe he just wanted to see where it goes and what happens.
Maybe he wants them to be his army since he helped them, but Idk about that one. Zod doesn't seem like the type to bend a knee to anyone especially when he has an army, but maybe he might of the warriors pride type thing where since DarkSeid helped him he's in debted to darkseid so he may feel as though he has to serve him for some period of time or forever. I'm thinking that the team will come through, shut down the boom tube by destroying Chase/Thrall, then it'll be a battle royale between the House of Zod + Malefahk and the team. Either Connor will stop Zod from killing Superman and end up getting killed in the process, or Zod will try to use Connor as a hostage and Superman will die. Whatever happens, I doubt anyone is walking away from this unscathed.

Two things I want to comment:
1) I keep wishing a character would connect the dots: that maybe the disappearance of Chameleon boy and Saturn girl might mean they are in trouble if they are not answering Phantom's girl at first. Add to the fact that Megan's brother was seen trying to help open the phantom zone. I don't know why, but I keep picturing either Batman or Question urging caution.
2) wonder what would have happened if Zatanna did bring everyone back to earth, but in the tower of fate. Sure the criminals would have superman's powers, but they are also very vulnerable to magic and can get trapped/lost there like Klarion did. Plus, if they are there, maybe Nightwing had some backup kryptonite just in case?

I dont know how the Zods will interact with Darkseid now(assuming they dont get trapped again in the next episode) but there is one more thing we know of: the House of Zod really despises New Genesis, Apokolips main enemy.
So I think Darkseid and the House of Zod will come to a truce similar to the Darkseid Savage one. They destroy their enemies first and then they will face each other.
Also I agree that Savage will not be pleased at all about this which might break his alliance resulting in the war against Apokolips in the next season.
That's the same thing I thought if it was me I'd tell Savage team up with him, let him deal with those Kryptonians

I surprised with all the hints about a "Magic School bus" that Danny's name wasn't Arnold instead.
I want more Danny Chase, I mean if they can fix Jason todd and Damien Wayne's characters after fan backlash I know they can do the same for Danny. I see great potential in this character for great development if given the right writers and young Justice proves it can do justice no pun intended for these beloved characters. Yes, I know Danny wasn't that beloved of a character when he first appeared back in the day but I feel he deserves another chance all he needs is to be better written that all.

No way bruh. First of all Lor is full Kryptonian while connor is only half and he doesn't have flight or laser. Besides Lor has already shown superior feats like one shotting orion, knocks down metron, fast enough to laser bart and kill tomar re. Connor is very nerfed in this series but I agree connor vs lor zod is the fight to happen
@@Sureshpillai86 I know he most likely can't win i just need to see that for personal reasons. And the fight isn't as one sided as that. Taking in a couple of factors he can put up a good fight. Merton first of all isn't a fighter in the least nor did he fight lor he was attacked while still dazed from razor then immediately lazer'ed from the Kaiser thrall. He definitely did not one shot Orion the cage match was very one sided in Orion's favor. Speed wise he didn't show very impressive speed he kept track of a speedster but he has been shown to be that fast not sure if connor can do the same.
Connor has fought a full Kryptonian clone held his own and could tank hits from amaz-o and superman not holding back when he was less than 6 years old and this is like around 20 years later and I very much doubt Lor matches up to either in strength. So connor has experience fighting bigger and stronger opponents Kryptonian or not and training from martial artist.
But how connor is now burned, soon to be bleeding out, and mind fucked from the zone he's not beating anyone.
@@tboy817 Lor wasn't focused on fighting Orion until the projector was destroyed. When he got angry he knocked him unconscious. As for metron he is not much of a fighter but he is still a powerful new god. And reacting to bart is impressive cuz he is on the level of flash. And even if both has equal strength, lor is far more ruthless and efficient. He has other useful abilities like lasers which can go through a green lantern.
And finally Conor is the biggest punching bag in the show. He is only there to take the attacks. It is evident from his fights in season 1 with blockbuster, amazo, match, teekl, and later blue bettle and mongul also trashed him. And like you said he has critical injuries and probably won't fight for a while

As connor is a punching bag by stronger villains that shows he can take hits from Krptonians at their peak kryptonians and others that easily surpass Lor. Lor did not one shot orion he knocked him down lazered the bubble and flew away his lazer also did nothing to orion but ruin his clothes.
