- After nearly six weeks of delays, the judge overseeing Georgia's longest trial ever is preparing to bring jurors back on Monday.
"The longer we take on everything, the longer the jury stays out," Fulton County Superior Court Judge Paige Whitaker said on Thursday. "I'm having the jury back on Monday at this point."

Why waste the jury’s time? This case is a disaster. The judge was told just linger it on as long as she can. Donovan Thomas must have family in law enforcement.
Because the prosecutor wants the jury to think that he didnt lie to the police and that he cant be trusted to say the truth in court.
She wants the jury to know what he told the police but because he wont tell her, she is reading the statements he gave to the cops and hoping the jury will take it and run with it even if he says "I dont recall" on the stand.
Its shady because questions are not evidence.
"Isnt it true that your favorite color is orange?" Doesnt mean that my favorite color is orange and if I say "no" to that question, its up to the jury to determine whether or not im being truthful.
Basically, they are being lazy and they called a witness that keeps saying Young Thug didnt do it and that he lied.
Its definitely a waste of everybody's time because I doubt the jury will give his statements any weight at the end of the day. they better have more evidence than this and Im sure theyve wasted Lil Woodys money and possibly made him a target over b.s.

A couple of those defendants are already serving life sentences for 185 so why are they on trial with Jeffery? This is a shame from the State of Georgia. Absolutely no justice

Its not about his memory. She just wants the jury to know what he said to the police because he refuses to tell them in court.
Even if she gave him a transcript he would say "i dont remember saying this because I lied. I cant keep track of my lies"

If you want to prove that i did orange graffiti near my home but i keep saying i dont remember doing it and that im a compulsive liar, she would be like "isnt it true your favorite color is orange?" "Isnt it true that you do graffiti?" "Isnt it true that you live close to the location of the graffiti" "do you recall being there that night?" Etc
even if i say no/i dont remember to all of that, the jury doesnt have to believe me. they can put the puzzle together themselves
if i told a friend i did orange graffiti and im like "i dont remember telling anyone that" she could ask me "so you remember speaking with your friend about graffiti?" "isnt it true you told her that your favorite color is orange" etc etc
