I love my discover. I use it for every single purchase essentially as a debit card. I’ve gotten a ton of cash back. I never apply it to my statement, i always take the cash deposit so that it feels like real money.
Please also review your checking accounts! Until you mentioned it, I never even thought about splitting my paycheck into different accounts until you mentioned it. I’m very curious.
I use(d) this card! Just made my final payment, paid off $6,000+ that accumulated while I was in school. The best feeling!! 🎉 now it will be decommissioned lol. I just have my recurring $10 Spotify on it. never again! 😂
Great review; loving this credit card review series! I have the other Discover card (It Chrome), it was my first ever credit card and I got it back when I was a student. This version of the card seems like it has a lot of nice cash back benefits!

I like the 5% off your category every three months. The 1% however don't cut it compared to other cash back cards like the 2% off everything cards. However with the match the 1% becomes 2% I suppose.

They put you through a long strenuous verification process where they have to send you a equifax or trans union email for you to E-sign then you have to wait an additional 2 to 3 weeks for them to contact the IRS in order to verify your information. You'll have to wait for a thousand years before you can even use your card. Highly recommend chime or bank of america

It was worth it. They put me through the same thing. But after I was verified and used my card responsibility. My card graduated with a $2300.00 limit. I use it everyday and pay it off. Lots of rewards adding up
