Thank you for this Kate! I would say this approach is similar to how I approached S2 task B for the March 2021 seating. I also used Michael’s resources which I can vouch is a great source and managed to get an 80. Keep up the great work, I love watching your vids 👌
Very insight breakdown of Task B, thank you! I've been stuck on the PEERL structure for the last few sittings. I'll adopt your approach - thinking this should give me that depth. Looking foward seeing your Task A analysis.
Great to hear Hadram. Hope that helps you this sitting. Task A video is up already and on my channel! You can find it on the main page under the GAMSAT playlist. Should be the second video there :)
This is very helpful. Writing essays makes me nervous but I'm going to use this structure in my preparation and hopefully it makes life a bit easier for me!
Hi Kate, first off I love your jumper (I live in London so cozy jumpers are a must) but more importantly thank you for this task B example its so insightful and easy to follow. Could you do a video on responding to prompts as I do have trouble responding to the themes. p.s yes apartment tour and more of Australia videos please.
Hi Sara, thanks for your comment! Love that this is reaching you in London. I’ll definitely look into doing a video where I analyse prompts. I found responding to themes difficult too. Are you sitting in September? :)
Hi Kate, thank-you so much for uploading this! As someone who enjoys writing anecdotes and narratives, I'm excited to explore this style in the context of Gamsat! I have a question as well, was the score of 87 using the ACER essay marker and was it a single value (87) or the highest end of a range (e.g. 80-87)?
Hi Jaymie-Lea, my pleasure! If you enjoy writing anecdotes you'll likely be great at this style of essays, so great to hear! The 87 was actually just from my tutor at the time who gave me an estimated mark, but I did submit a couple essays to the ACER essay marker which scored in the 85-100 range, so hopefully he was accurate!
Great videos thank you Kate!! I just wanted to ask - how do you know the percentile of your S2 score? I know that Acer releases the curve of the overall score but unsure where I can find section specific breakdowns. Thanks!!
Thanks Priya! I actually got my top 0.7% by reaching out to Michael a few months ago. One of his mates/colleagues had a spreadsheet that he was able to use to estimate the percentile. It's not anything official, but it's a fair estimation. He might still have it if you want to reach out to him directly and ask :)
For those needing further help, I'm offering tutoring sessions and a marking service for Section 2 essays. If you're interested, please check out the 'GAMSAT' page on my Website and feel free to reach out to me by email or on Instagram :)

@@furbytvtv It’s helpful to see an example for sure! Ok, thank-you for that clarification. 80 in S2 on the real thing is fantastic, well done!
Just realizing that the comments at the beginning of this and the last video were rubbish 😂 very funny
