I don't think she did. Her delivery on everything is an exaggerated over-excitement which becomes cringey soon. And much of the audience wasn't feeling most of it, the looked bored or distracted.
She was fab, I thought.
At a time when hosting an award show is a tougher role than ever, you can count on the loveliest Aidy Bryant to deliver. Well done

Not the best opening, but not bad, and a solid effort for her first time. Just don’t see it being all too memorable a year or so from now.

It was good, and I’m a fan of Aidy’s, but I don’t believe it’s the kind of opening that’s going to stick in my mind years later like Amy and Tina, or Ricky Gervais at the Globes, Hugh Jackman opening the Oscars, or past independent spirit openings like Aubrey Plaza, or Kroll and Mulaney. None of this means I didn’t enjoy the opening, it just felt rather on the safe side.

The same people who are praising Aidy's awards monologue are attacking and criticizing Shane Gillis's SNL monologue. Think about that.
Perhaps they like Aidy, and they don't like Shane. Not a fan of SNL and never heard of Shane Gillis before, I liked Aidy's monologue more than Shane's. Sometimes it's not that deep?

What’s funny with these ‘the same people’ comments is that it implies the commenter looks through thousands of comments and follows thousands of accounts and somehow knows that the SAME PEOPLE who watch and like one YT video are the SAME PEOPLE hating on another. Doubtful!
