My daughter and I got to the bamboo forest very early in the morning. The trails where empty and we got got great pictures. We walked thru the neighbors and then over the Ashirama to see the monkeys. We had a really good lunch at a Buddhist restaurant run by a very friendly elderly couple. Then we walked up Fushimi Inari. It was a wonderful day.

A stunning behind the scenes look at Japan. Their culture is so deep and old. Thank you for a most memorable experience. Your lady friend is an encyclopedia of cultural gems. I loved her willingness to share her knowledge. Well done Sir! 👍❤️

I’m so happy to know there’s other trails at the shrine, AND a different bamboo forest, so I can get those bamboo forest shots and not have to worry about anxiety. 👌 📸
Definitely gonna look into Magical Trip tours!

It's the same couple from the last kyoto video!! They remembered and even asked if you were recording. That puts a smile on my face

It’s actually the woman from the empty Kyoto documentary! The one in the thumbnail! 😊

What a wonderful vlog and a big reason I think you have the best channel on TH-cam. You continue to bring so many interesting topics and places to visit and in this particular one I feel like being there with you guys. My respect Norm from a fellow youtuber, keep it up!

Love the backroads side of such a popular area. I wandered off into a few my first time through and it was always such a nice respite from the massive amounts of people elsewhere. I’ve got a trip upcoming and returning to fushimi inari is one of the things I’m most excited about.
