I only discovered this channel a few days ago but as someone living in Tokyo that doesn't get to go out and see much of Japan, this channel is truly a treasure. Things I've dreamed of doing and places I've always wanted to see are shown here in an almost dream-like quality and beauty. The rooftops of Tokyo that I have never visited, the green mountains and fields with oceans of clouds I've only ever seen in anime have made me realize how much of Japan I've been missing out on. This has honestly been such a refreshing experience and I hope that someday in the future, I can go and do similar things.

One thing I always miss about Journey Across Japan is the journey. I like that you put in the driving, stops for gas, cup noodles dinners, etc...

What an amazing adventure it was! If this is an anime, the full video playlist is like the episode and this video is that recap episode you sometimes get in anime to get you excited for the next episode. And I am very excited for the next adventure series! Can't wait for the next one! Great work and great video Norm! Especially the cinematography makes me want even more!! 😁

The music and the shots together... I can't even put into words how amazing and peaceful this whole video is. Thank you for making these. It manages to scratch my wanderlust itch while stuck at home during the pandemic. It's difficult to put into words how I can appreciate a TH-cam video so much. You have amazing talent and your videos genuinely brighten my day.

Watching this video makes me feel like I am part of a canvas where you can go inside, and see things (almost Harry Potter-esque). The scenery is literally jaw dropping, and I never knew that I was missing a campsite with fairy lights in my life. and I just love love love the KEI car (your video on the car was FANTASTIC) - it's so cool!! Thanks for the absolutely FABULOUS work, Norm - for the 26.34 minutes, I felt like I was actually in Japan!

Haven't been feeling well lately so slow to leave a comment, but this was really awesome to watch!! I'm left with this fantastically weird feeling of "HEY I WAS THERE!" except I wasn't, I just watched the live stream of you being there. But it was still an experience we all had together, like discovering the fish in the gutters in Shirakawago! For some reason it made me really happy to see that shot in this video haha
As always, thank you so much for sharing these adventures with everyone and I'm really excited to see what you're up to next.

The benefit to not being able to watch videos as they come out is that I have a large catalogue of your videos to catch up on and binge through a day or two off. The drawback, I don't get to see them as they come out. But, the nice thing, is that regardless of when down the road, I can always come back to these adventures in times of hardship and smile. Your adventures are like food for the soul, broadening ones horizons and enjoying incredible vistas. That castle in the sky was gorgeous as was the now defunct rail line. As always, thank you!

This is another awesome video showing all beautiful locations that you could see. The cinematography that you do to show off the sights is amazing, it shows the beauty of places that I would never think of. In the future I hope that I could visit any of the picturesque places that you've shown in your videos. I want to see shrines/temples, torii gates, etc in rural areas and places like Akihabara/quirky places. Keep up the great work Norm, love the videos.
