I've had both the big guys and both recently. I think at&t is like a Toyota pickup, it just damn works. Not the most expensive or flashy thing, but thats why I'm back. Verizon is like a sportscar that's always in the shop.
I switched to AT&T, from T-Mobile I’m the same way I rather have more coverage than insane speeds. That being said I’m still looking and peeking over at Verizon since that update. May decide the do more plan or get more and pair that with the Verizon credit card to make my bill a little cheaper. 👀
Coverage is pretty much same between Verizon and at&t now. They have been adding towers left and right. In my experience in Michigan It’s extremely rare I run in to a situation I can’t complete anything. At the end of this year they would have added about 200 towers in Michigan alone since they started building first net.
After experiencing all carriers I agree with you when it comes to their layouts. Verizon looks classy, T-Mobile looks fun, and AT&T seems outdated and boring.
I agree with the whole store employees experience. T mobile employees are cool with everyone. There was this one time I was trying to buy a phone at an att store and the employees told to me to go Walmart and buy the phone there and activate it myself and I was like bruh. Like t mobile stores are just more chill and friendly
For prepaid,I wouldn't recommend going to the provider stores anyway. They often charge activation fees. Myself, prefer unlocked phones from a chain store and switch to whatever provider I want without the hassles of unlocking later.
Had Verizon for 20 years. Just ported to T-Mobile. I can't spend $10 a day on international with Verizon when T-Mobile is $85 a month or less. Doesn't make sense.
I just switched from Verizon back to T-Mobile. I left T-Mobile in 2012 to go to Verizon. I’ll see how T-Mobile goes. For me in my area at least the network Data reliability wasn’t worth what I was paying a month for Verizon.
@@Wavemasterx3_ I don't travel much, and yes I live in a pretty small town, but service is great..would like to see if that changes if I do travel somewhere outside my local area.
@@CashRules660 I see. I plan on switching over. From Verizon to t mobile. I had t mobile years ago as a teen lol. It’s been close to a decade so.. I’m wondering if they got better. So I was they did. But idk.
Yeah, coverage is important. We had spectacular coverage in L.A. and while driving back and forth to house hunt for retirement in the Midwest. BUT, we get substandard service at our new house which we’ve never experienced before. We hoped this problem would correct itself but it’s been 7 years and we still suffer dropped calls. TMobile is spectacular here, in fact we switched to their internet service which has only improved here as the nearby Sprint towers were brought into service. So…who do I choose?
I don't recommend verizon as I personally use verizon as the connection is very spotty and the speeds is crap and got scammed on one of there deals 2 years ago but I can say about 2 years ago verizon was good and great but now its trash and we called customer service as customer service is pretty good but they always say the samething ohh its the phone like no its not and they replaced the phone with a new one and again the same crappy connection and speeds and they kept blaming the phone but its actually the cellular company, also they are having alot of issues too like they been caught stealing personal data and info, and other but for me personally I would look for at&t or T-Mobile
tmobile indeed has great customer support. But coverage in my area is practically useless. I felt bad "breaking up" with them but Verizon was the better option for me. AT&T is just someone I used to know many years ago.
I was just on Cape Cod, Provincetown to be exact and a woman was frantic at our hotel to call her kids, she had no service. Her phone was on Verizon. I offered to let her use my iPhone with ATT service and she completed the call with no problem. Same exact issue at the Airport there, no Verizon service, ATT had 2 bars. I guess it just depends where you are making calls.
Absolutely! I hope everyone is taking their location into consideration! Don't get a service because it may have the "most" coverage, if it doesn't cover where you are the majority of the time.
I spent a month trying to switch to Verizon because the company was so disorganized. I was tossed around to so many people, I finally gave up. With Tmobile, I was given a line and service that same day. I went in and bought a new phone not too long after- same day service. The coverage with T-Mobile isn’t my favorite but at least they get stuff done when I ask.
I only used AT&T for years but the connections has gotten bad. I had already used Tmobile but the coverage wasn't good at all if you are traveling. I switched to Verizon for the first time in my life. What is the best pre paid Verizon carrier? |I'm on Twigby now. They use the verizon towers and I get great coverage. Twigby charges about 20% tagged on fees and taxes ect so looking for another verizon pre paid that doesn't charge so much on the fees.
I’m from San Diego, Ca. T- Mobile is very spotty downtown and I have Magenta Max. It’s also spotty in some neighborhoods and buildings. I wonder if it’s because since the merge with sprint the coverage just went down. Coworkers that own AT&T always had a signal every where I went it was a very disappointing experience. I tried google fi for 2 months it’s better than T-Mobile by having a better signal just like AT&T. However the google fi data plan is capped regardless it being unlimited data.
good video. Best to check whats best in your area. Had Verizion, but got AT&T because they gave me a 25% discount for having their fiber service. Don't see a difference in speeds or coverage BUT way cheaper, even without the internet discount. Happy with the change
So happy to hear and totally agree!! What's best for one isn't best for all! I actually visited a city during a mission trip, and the only company with service was US Cellular. Obviously in that city, it would make the most sense for the people to get US Cellular. It 100% depends on location, your personal experience, and what you want from a company!
Your right about the store vibe. I had all 3 and had the same experience. AT&T stores suck, dead and depressing. Verizon stores have the corporate business look but they are always packed. Tmobile has that young hip vibe just happy to exist. I personally prefer Tmobile and verizon, i pay for both services cause i like 2 phones
Happy you agree haha. I always enjoy having at least 2 phones as well! I like having an Android and an iPhone so I can play with the different operating systems.
Canceling visible. They started off great but then made me update and then the service was horrible after that and it has rapidly gotten worse. So I’m looking for another carrier.
I used AT&T and Verizon prepaid. AT&T prepaid account management is a mess. The system keeps breaking down and I couldn't add a prepaid recharge card for days for some reason. With Verizon prepaid I have no problem accessing my account. Data service sometimes get congested, but call and SMS work fine. If one is looking for a prepaid SIM,it's easier to just buy it from a chain store, drugstore, supermarket,or even a convenience store and activate it one self,it's also faster.
I have never used either companies prepaid, so I like hearing about your guys experience with it! I do use both companies postpaid as well as different MVNOs for each company. How would you say Verizons prepaid matches up to Visible in terms of speed and experience?
@@ReverendCellular Verizon prepaid data is very close to postpaid, especially the highest tier. Most people won't know the difference. Just the way AT&T prepaid's highest tier is the $65 monthly plan which with auto refill costs $50 plus tax which equals the data speed tier of Unlimited Elite.
I've been on Verizon for 12 years still have gUDP and just upgraded to a 5g phone because I was hoping to get better signal at work and at home. But Verizon has no 5g in either place but I have just yesterday started a 90 day trial tmobile and instantly full 5 bars 5g at home and work. Looks like Verizon will be getting a call soon to cancel.
I see this video Is old, but just incase anyone sees this. my family is split lol tmobile/verizon. so up until about 2 years ago (I live in the sticks in texas btw) versions coverage is dominant and still is, however now that tmoble has taken sprint the speeds and coverage has MULTIPLIED. so the frio in texas is in the middle of nowhere and I got service with mobile and no one else did. however my lake house on sam Rayburn I didn't get service and Verizon does, but its been slowly changing and by slowly I mean kinda not that slow. seeing them both 6 motbnhs later. tmoble is the clear choice and if you stay with them for 3 years you get free unlimited high speed data which is amazing. I would say at the current point in time tmoble is superior and also forgot to mention tmoble gets service in almost every building I've been in including school. not sure why or how but it does. so yeah
Verizon has the best coverage, but T-Mobile coverage is not far behind and their customer service is number 1. I have had bad customer service experience with Verizon and I had to leave. And AT&T is just... there
Verizon doesn’t have any service where I live and ATT is the only one that does living in the country sucks for cell service lol.. but this is 2022 why do we still have dead spots I’ll never know…
Haha I totally get where you are coming from. I used to live in the middle of no where. Cell phones were the only way to get decent Internet, that or pay a crazy fee for satellite internet, which was worse then hot spotting. Problem is only 2 companies had service out there, so your options were limited. I don't get why we have dead spots either. You think they would realize people enjoy coverage.
I’ve pretty much always have had AT & T but I moved to Kansas and switched to Verizon due to better coverage. However, my job offered free T Mobile service so I’ve been with them and I couldn’t be happier bc it’s free! Verizon customer service is horrible with the call center reps. AT&T is good and T Mobile is good
Verizon’s speed is up there with T-Mobile. I’ve had AT&T for the past 6 years, and I could tell you their 5G+ is garbage. This is why I went with Verizon d/t its reliability.
no shot haha tmobles speeds are incredibly fast. when I have 1 or 2 bars and my Verizon buddies have full, mine is significantly faster still. just the coverage that blows. wish I could have 2 sims cards and select which one I want activated lolll
@SouthCentral_Kid Los Angeles is a city that I have heard reports of T-Mobile struggling, especially at Los Angeles Airport. I really hope they turn things around there. Love hearing from you guys and where you are from and your experiences!
I am a verizom customer and it was great before 5G came along. Now data is slow and frustrating. I tried T-mobile network pass for i think 60 days and wow what a difference in speed and 5g coverage. I stay in L.A btw.
AT&T's customer service is horrible. When I signed on with them I was told I can pay my bill with cash at any of their locations during the hours of operation. Which is the only option I have. Now the issue I'm having is that I get off work a hour before the latest store closes and there are days that they won't take my money because "The money has been counted and put up for the night.". My payday and my bill's due date are 2 days apart, thus, when they won't take my payment it's then late. To top it off, I end up having to leave work early to pay it and so I'm losing money at work and behind on tasks the next day. Ugh! So frustrating! I asked if they simply could leave the money with a note for the morning crew, telling them to process it that morning after and I've worked several sales positions for multiple companies and know that they could do this but it was a flat out no! I asked if it was because they can't or won't and was told "I don't think I can do that." OMG, I'll end my rant now but I think it's b.s.! 🤬‼
I had t mobile until I switched two years ago to AT&T. My problem was that T mobile coverage sucked. My sister who at the time used to live in Freeport Illinois which two hours outside of Chicago and an hour outside Madison Wisconsin. I lose signal and my phone would roam on to att network. It’s was the same when I take vacations or go visit my brother. I have to used Wi-Fi to used my phone. Now that I switched to att and my sister lives in near Milwaukee I don’t have those problems. My phone doesn’t roam on other networks
One thing I'm noticing with Virizon is the network is always dropping way down and coming back in. Not sure if it's my Pixel 7 Pro or the service but man it's spotty in Michigan.... Sad
I tried T Mobile 2 times years ago and the experience was horrible. There was no service anywhere. I couldn't use my phone so I went back to Verizon. I've had Verizon for years but I just tried T Mobile again because it's been so long. It's actually really good. I don't like Verizon because their customer service lies and makes up fake plans to get you signed up. They did that to my father. Whn he asked them to refund him they screamed*Effin sue me ahole" into the phone and hung up. I can't support that.
@@timman3643 I have said in the past that Verizon throttles their mvnos more then any other carrier. This is why the quality of service differs so much from their premium plans to their mvnos
When it comes to Visible though, they route their traffic through a very limited number of servers compared to other MVNO’s. That’s why Visible has 100+ms ping.
Been happy with Visible for 2 years with family of 3 at $25 each hard to beat with unlimited data. Looking at going to an AT&T prepaid but hate the thought of tracking data use again since I don't want to pay for the unlimited. I think 15 GB for each of us with rollover would probably be a good compromise and would not be top priority but would not be throttled as much I think.
From my experience, there are in flight instructions that will guide you. All I had to do was connect to the WiFi on flight, and it will direct me to a list of options with different payment options, and an option that has T-Mobile customer and free WiFi.
T-mobile ruined sprint I used to love my service then t-mobile came in and ruined it...my phone never gets signal and when it doesn't it doesn't even work....I think I'm going to try att
I've always preferred Verizon, but since 5g has rolled out I have had alot of trouble with loading up anything. I live just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee.
T-Mobile throttles me so bad in Chicago. Forget going outside of major towns as my signal was almost non-existent. Verizon is #1 for me. Had it before with unbeatable plans and can't complain these days either. Never had AT&T so can't comment.
I use to work at T-Mobile and AT&T. T-Mobile had their occasionally bugs in their system every once in a while doing activations but AT&T oh babyyy. I hated OPUS. So outdated, so many bugs. Always on the phone with care lol but I made more money with them 😭 I love them both though
Wow glad Verizon works for you. On Long Island Verizon is horrible. Less then 1mb all the time. TMobile has it's issue but beats Verizon on Long Island. We tried Verizon and had to go back to TMobile. TMobile coverage is good on Long Island ,but Verizon rocks off Long Island. Good Luck
I have experienced slower speeds with Verizon then with T-Mobile. However, due to how much I travel, I do have more coverage with Verizon. Every carrier is a great option and is the best in their own ways. All I hope is that everyone finds the carrier that is best for them, and it sounds like you have!
Damn I’m gonna start AT&T at Sam’s club soon and I have never worked with phones a day in my life and I’m 19, I just wanted to branch off and try something new besides work fast food or at a grocery store but hopefully all goes well
I wish more companies were like T-Mobile and let you test their network free for 30 days. Then you could really get a grasp on the difference between the 2. I hope whatever decision you make is the right one for you and makes you happy!
If you absolutely need your phone to work in the most places nationwide- you need Verizon. T-Mobile is like a flame torch in your hand with awesome speeds.. and then you go 10 miles down the road and you have nothing. ATT has solid rural coverage, but isn’t really a national player, they are worse than T-Mobile. For nearly anyone- T-Mobile is cheapest and Verizon is most expensive. ATT is a crapshoot- probably with them is completely horrible service. I suspect, you are like many of us- you are rooting for T-Mobile to continue to do well and be the nationwide leader and still maintain their coolness. Unfortunately- in rural areas… they still got work to do.
Verizon is awesome out here. I get ultra wideband 24/7 and when it don’t it Low Band 5G that’s nothing less that 100Mbps and 30 up. but when i’m out and about normally and not in Rual area. I see speeds of 500 and no less
I miss my T-Mobile service so much but it wasn't an option when I moved out to the country. Switched to Verizon and didn't mind paying more for the coverage but it's actually gotten worse down in Florida since around SEP2021. I went from having 4g at work to not even being able to call or text unless I stood by a certain window (forget about data). I'm finally with Firstnet (ATT) and while it's not quite as fast on average as Verizon it works darn near everywhere and my bill went down by a $30 per line. The unlimited with no throttling is nice but I don't use that much data to benefit from this. P.S. Motorola ftw!!!
For me been with Verizon for the past 3 years I have to say they suck. I live in the city not in rural area and still bad. Thinking on switching back to tmobile plus they pay off my phone.

I switched to AT&T, from T-Mobile I’m the same way I rather have more coverage than insane speeds. That being said I’m still looking and peeking over at Verizon since that update. May decide the do more plan or get more and pair that with the Verizon credit card to make my bill a little cheaper. 👀
Either option between AT&T and Verizon will definitely make you happy... But the Verizon Visa card is a game changer!
Coverage is pretty much same between Verizon and at&t now. They have been adding towers left and right. In my experience in Michigan It’s extremely rare I run in to a situation I can’t complete anything. At the end of this year they would have added about 200 towers in Michigan alone since they started building first net.
@@NetworkNinja84AT&T surpassed Verizon on coverage due to the FirstNet deal. That’s a fact! Look it up!!!
Damn bro, who from AT&T broke your heart?
After experiencing all carriers I agree with you when it comes to their layouts. Verizon looks classy, T-Mobile looks fun, and AT&T seems outdated and boring.
Happy to hear others agree!!! Stay blessed!
Been rocking with T-Mobile since 2013...no complaints still a satisfied customer. 💯
Happy to hear you are happy!!
Do you get good service around wood? Like if you live in a town, or if you travel to other countries?
@@Wavemasterx3_ I don't travel much, and yes I live in a pretty small town, but service is great..would like to see if that changes if I do travel somewhere outside my local area.
@@CashRules660 I see. I plan on switching over. From Verizon to t mobile. I had t mobile years ago as a teen lol. It’s been close to a decade so.. I’m wondering if they got better. So I was they did. But idk.
As a whole AT&T has been a shitty experience for me every time wether it was online or in store.
I have been with att since Cingular days .. they have always gave me the best coverage and speeds overall Compared to the other two
Yeah, coverage is important.
My man I like the way you explained your experiences ..
appreciate this review as I've been thinking of doing a change to verizon but was unsure ; you just helped me make a decision! thank you!
Always was curious to find out what the difference between carriers in detail was thanks for providing the info.
Thanks for taking the time to listen!
I had Verizon for 2 years and couldn’t stand it. Terrible customer service! Now I’m at AT&T and couldn’t be happier.
You would be happier at T-Mobile
T-mobile is the top dog now
I only used AT&T for years but the connections has gotten bad.
Use Visible? Like $25 a Month
Metro by T-Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Visible Wireless
Informative but a little objective, MVNOs are better options for the most.
Same here thinking about going to att because I have fiber internet. Currently with t mobile
im in the same situation and im wondering if i should switch from Verizon to ATT. Do you think its worth the switch?
Your right about the store vibe. I had all 3 and had the same experience. AT&T stores suck, dead and depressing. Verizon stores have the corporate business look but they are always packed. Tmobile has that young hip vibe just happy to exist. I personally prefer Tmobile and verizon, i pay for both services cause i like 2 phones
Happy you agree haha. I always enjoy having at least 2 phones as well! I like having an Android and an iPhone so I can play with the different operating systems.
Same story here. My iPhone and Apple watch is on Verizon and my Galaxy Android is on T-Mobile. Best phones on the best carriers.
Canceling visible. They started off great but then made me update and then the service was horrible after that and it has rapidly gotten worse. So I’m looking for another carrier.
For me it's at&t cause the other two carriers don't work where I live
I swapped to AT&T late last year from Verizon I got a cheaper phone bill with better speeds with a new iphone.
@SouthCentral_Kid I would say 3-5 times a month on Verizon prepaid depending on traffic conditions.
Location is always important when deciding a cellular provider. Happy you found one that gives you great coverage!
And AT&T is just... there
Not true anymore AT&T surpassed Verizon in coverage with the First Net deal. Do your homework!
@@ReverendCellular verizon realized it a decade ago and capitalized off it using that sweet $ to build it out
Franchise T mobile stores are hit and miss too. The local T mobile corporate store is really good, the local franchise store sucks the big one.
T-Mobile is okay they need better coverage what’s the point of speed with no coverage.
Couldn't agree with you more my friend!
I’ve pretty much always have had AT & T but I moved to Kansas and switched to Verizon due to better coverage. However, my job offered free T Mobile service so I’ve been with them and I couldn’t be happier bc it’s free! Verizon customer service is horrible with the call center reps. AT&T is good and T Mobile is good
All about the coverage for me. 13 years on Verizon
Nice video bro getting my 13 pro max on Verizon.
i been using t moble for a month with no issues and speed has always been 400mbs down and i live in the sticks
Some places it works absolutely great! I am so glad it works great for you!!! I loved T-Mobile! Such a great experience being with them!
I’m IN LA county how’s T-Mobile in the antelope valley and riverside county if you know
Would love to see your thoughts on US Mobile.
Iughhghhvgh first
I had t mobile until I switched two years ago to AT&T.
Sad
Barring any problems where you live I’d say it definitely be the pixal they always seem to have weak reception for some reason
Visible! Love the price and service!
Glad to hear your enjoying it!
Visible is trash. The 100+ pings got old. Visible is not a good way of judging vzw. Not even close
How to get the T-mobile inflight WIFI?
From my experience, there are in flight instructions that will guide you. All I had to do was connect to the WiFi on flight, and it will direct me to a list of options with different payment options, and an option that has T-Mobile customer and free WiFi.
I would’ve gone with T-Mobile
T-mobile ruined sprint I used to love my service then t-mobile came in and ruined it...my phone never gets signal and when it doesn't it doesn't even work....I think I'm going to try att
rly? opposite for me. sprint was awful in my area and i live in the heart of the city. But since the switch service has been great
What plan on T-Mobile you havw
I've always preferred Verizon, but since 5g has rolled out I have had alot of trouble with loading up anything. I live just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee.
T-Mobile throttles me so bad in Chicago. Forget going outside of major towns as my signal was almost non-existent.
Verizon is #1 for me. Had it before with unbeatable plans and can't complain these days either.
Never had AT&T so can't comment.

Opus is godly compared to crm 😂
❓ Do you travel to Mexico? I have to go there (to Cabo San Lucas) for about 2 weeks and want/need to have good coverage ALL of the time.
Damn I’m gonna start AT&T at Sam’s club soon and I have never worked with phones a day in my life and I’m 19, I just wanted to branch off and try something new besides work fast food or at a grocery store but hopefully all goes well
How’s it been going for you?
I have all three.
Definitely feel like a big boss ceo on verizon
I have T-Mobile now but I’m thinking about trying Verizon. And your right about the stores and the atmosphere in the stores lol
I wish more companies were like T-Mobile and let you test their network free for 30 days. Then you could really get a grasp on the difference between the 2. I hope whatever decision you make is the right one for you and makes you happy!
Isn't Virizon the fastest 5G network in the areas that has 5 G? T mobile just has a way bigger 5G network.
You can get around Verizon streaming caps with a VPN. That’s what I do on my Verizon line.
On AT&T I don’t have to worry about that!
Agree ❤
Version is awesome customer service is fantastic coverage is excellent 👍
For me been with Verizon for the past 3 years I have to say they suck. I live in the city not in rural area and still bad. Thinking on switching back to tmobile plus they pay off my phone.
