Some beautiful beaches in Bali | Indonesia | Sixty and Travelling
Some beautiful beaches in Bali - this vlog attempts to bring out the sheer elegance and grandeur of beaches in Bali which enjoy global attention and appreciation. We have selected four such beaches. But several other beaches are also absolutely stunning and enjoyable. This vlog attempts just a sample of options available in Bali.
The first beach we have covered is the Seminyak Beach. It surely ranks very high for its cleanliness, golden sand, clear blue water and stunning sunsets. It is also great for swimming, sunbathing, surfing and other water activities.
Our visit to Seminyak Beach was surely eventful. While enjoying the repeated onslaughts of high waves in Indian Ocean in quick succession, we got almost in a trance and forgot that high waves are also accompanied by strong breeze! The outcome was predictable. Before I could realise, my sun hat was blown away first by strong breeze and then by high wave which carried the hat far away to oblivion! But I hardly got any time to lament my carelessness. Almost in a jiffy a returning high wave carried the hat back to the shore directly into my hands.
Unbelievable but true!
Our next stop was at Pandawa beach, also known as Pantai Pandawa. The most distinctive feature of this beach is its location. It is located behind a mountainous area, so not visible from a distance. Hence it is famous as a secret beach. It is a white-sand cliff- and statue-lined beach for walking, paddling etc. We had a nice long thoroughly enjoyable walk here.
After this, we came to Kuta beach, which is one of the first tourist developments in Bali, known for its party-centric atmosphere, surfing and of course, sunsets. Lazing around amidst repeated onslaughts of ocean waves was in itself a divine experience.
Jimbaran beach, our last stop, is known for its long narrow white-sand swimming and surfing beach with numerous ocean side seafood restaurants. Proximity to the only airport in Bali also adds to its charm. Frequent landings and take-off surely hold your attention. And of course a heaven like sunset was a fittingfinale to an absorbing day at beaches in Bali.
