All right, so I have owned this bike for about three months now and have ridden about a 1 000 km on it. Just so you know where this is going... I love it! The negatives: It's quite tall for a short rider such as me (172 cm) but still manageable. It's a one cylinder engine (now, some of you may feel that is a good thing...). It is difficult to handle if you are used to Japanese V-twins (engine doesn't work the same at all...).The positives: GRUNT! Nimble! Extremely fun to ride! And, actual off-road capabilities ) good thing for a scrambler...). If you want to know more, PM me (I am in Sweden).

So, just had the 1 000 km service done... Opted for the race-mapping of the engine. Sweet Jesus! Valve clearances adjusted and more torque. Now, I just want to say you don't have to get the race-mapping but, sweet lord, it does make a difference... as previously stated, if you want to know more, pm me...

I’ve just recently bought a Caballero Scrambler 125. It’s my first bike (I’m 52!) and it’s a great little thing. The build quality is so much better than the Sinnis, Bullit, Mash etc - the chromoly frame is really well made and the billet fork yokes and footrest hangers are very nicely machined. For the potholed lanes and roads here in Wales I can’t think of a better choice and the Fantic name has real heritage with us of a certain age. Oh - it’s also a blast to ride.

@@ruswing2260 It's a shame that nowadays manufacturers don't even tell the speed.

Bought this bike on June 6th, coming from an heavier and bigger cafe racer....It's very(but very very) light and easy to drive. It gives instantaneous confidence and the 40hp are just PERFECT for City traffic, Commuting, Medium distances trip and Easy Off Road......A real "Fun Bike", with a stunning look that makes You proud at every traffic light, considering the amount of people looking at You with sparks in the eyes.... Unique "CON" is the the fairing lights block that is not so easy to control at first and the attention You have to put on unwanted unscrewings due to vibrations( be very careful to the carbon fiber protection on the exhaust pipe.... OR YOU MIGHT LOSE IT!!!!)..... And, if You're a "trendy hipster" watch out to the pedals.... they are VERY EDGY and those little spikes for the grip might ruin easily Your 300$ shoes.... LAMPS!!!!

I've seen it up close. The plastics are indeed a bit flimsy and look almost ready to break but they're designed to be a cheap replacement. Also the fuel tank is actually a plastic cover of the actual metallic fuel tank that sits underneath. Also meant to be a cheap replacement. Looks a bit overpriced to me but one of the best looking out there, indeed.

For me, it ticks so many boxes, the light bike for commuting, little bit of trail riding in the south of London if I make the effort of finding them and reasonable seat height, I won’t be trying to ride any adventure bike over boulders, I will do the gnarly terrain on my eMTB. The other advantage it has over a used Ducati scrambler is that it’s water cooled, so won’t bake my calves at the so many traffic lights I have to stop at. Small capacity is fine since I am more of a plodder than a racer on the road and not into touring. Decisions, decisions

@@DerpEye yeah yeah, 🙄 if you buy either of these bikes you're taking a chance because of limited dealer network.
You're right about the husky, not selling well immediately I imagine, but being cloned from a duke 390 means that all running gear is transferable and plentiful compared to the beautiful but very niche caballero.
      Do you understand that?

    Can't handle it - OCD won't let me not make comment - I beg you not to pronounce the two "l's" - it's Caba"y"ero - just like it's Ma"y"orca - oh, and the beer is Estre"y"a - ahhhhhhhh! Other than being a smart-ass - yep, that's a nice bike :-)

It´s a good thing you know you´re being a smart-ass. It´s a bad thing you don´t know you´re trying to "correct" someone by saying nonsense. As a Spaniard, I can assure you the sound "y" ("ye") and the sound "ll" ("elle") are very different sounds, both for native Spanish speakers, and for anyone who actually has a half-working ear (Don´t trust me, look it up). As such, neither "Caballero" nor "Mallorca" are actually pronounced as you say, which I´m afraid is nothing but the most common, SHITTY pronuntiation used by foreigners who believe they know how to speak Spanish properly.
      And nice bike, indeed...
