Im not Amish. I grew up on a hog farm in the south. Smoking the meat was a part of food prep year in and out. Some of the older people still had the wood stove, but used in winter mostly. Cant imagine cooking inside with one inside during summers.

All very nice and good for them. Go Amish! But try this with 340 MILLION people, most of whom live in cities. Unfair comparison. Impossible.
