Those trout are packed with spaghetti worms. I usually have luck with the black drum. I generally prefer the flavor of black drum over Mangrove snapper believe it or not lol.
Speckled trout are great eating I think…but it’s all personal preference I haven’t run into many worms fishing for them in winter. Sheepshead and mangroves are hard to beat though.
That area is hard to beat so versatile. Snook in the summer are so good there too. I’ve never really gone for Spanish are they typically around all year?

@@FishOnChannel I like black drum better than reds. The quality of the filet is hard to beat. It's weird I never had 22 with worms. But 23 sometimes they do an sometimes they don't. 24 always has worms 🪱

That's a pelican catch 100 very steady for a light kayak. Or you can get the catch 120 if you're tall 😃💪

Trout fishing is pretty good deep channels passes or the power plants are pretty good during this time of the year.

Thank you my friend speckled trouts are too mushy and when they get big they do have worms black drum is pretty good actually 😃💪
Black drum is great eating. But I only keep if 22 inches or under.
