Looking forward to fishing with ya again Bush. Still going through chemo but your videos let me still feel like I am there! Thanks for the great videos man!
Love fishing there. I usually fish off the jetty at north Beach. Last couple weekends tho I have been catching pompanos at sand key beach and John's pass
@@FishOnChannel cool thanks for the info. You are the pomp king brother. I've learned a lot about them watching your videos. Always look forward to your next one. All I watch is you and Capt C. A. Richardson at flats class. Keep on keeping on man
Yeah we tried for Cobia today not much going on I just had a shark that's all. I hope the bite picks up at Apollo Beach we can go next time and get some Cobia
Man I've been to Honeymoon a few times and can't remember where this spot is. Is it on the North side past Oasis? I normally fish at the jette/wavebreak areas on the beaches.
@@FishOnChannel gotcha do you prefer this jetty for sheeps over the ones north of here? I’ve only fished this jetty a few times but I’ve seen people at the ones north of here

I love fishing North jetty. Pompano still out on the passes till we get few cold days in a row then we have to fish the power plants
was there yesterday lots of pin fish so broke out the cast net and got 6 big mullet
@@FishOnChannel why is that? I know pompano are picky about water temps. I've heard the power plants like anclote keep the water warmer is that true?
@@coryman4245 pompanos don't do good with cold Waters that's why they run for the power plants it's nice and warm there

I've been fishing there almost every other day this week is going to be cold sheepshead time I'll be around there
Never seen this wall at honeymoon. Usually fish off Dog Beach
North from there
Man I've been to Honeymoon a few times and can't remember where this spot is. Is it on the North side past Oasis? I normally fish at the jette/wavebreak areas on the beaches.
That's on the main Beach just north of the dog beach
@@FishOnChannel Oh thanks! I haven't been over there, mostly go to the VERY end of dog beach, in sight of the Caladesi ferry.
I just moved down about a month ago and been fishing honeymoon a lot hopefully one day we could hook up and fish together
Sounds good my friend that's a great area to fish
What time of year do you start see sheeps here? I was there in March and did well but wondering if it’s cold enough yet.
I mean they're around for a long time but they bite better on winter time
@@FishOnChannel gotcha do you prefer this jetty for sheeps over the ones north of here? I’ve only fished this jetty a few times but I’ve seen people at the ones north of here
@@danc4454 yeah the Jetty's north of there are pretty good
@@FishOnChannel thank you! Keep the good content coming sir!
This might be a silly question, but how do you tie the sinker to the line? Do you just pass the line through the hole in the sinker and tie a knot
In this video I'm using Carolina rig I'm stopping the weight with a swivel in the bottom section a tie another short leader
Just realized you don’t have a video fishing the st Pete pier yet! Please do that one for the culture. I can guarantee it gets a good amount of views
Man I was thinking that the other day you're right about that. I might go and hit that Pier for sheepshead this week
@@FishOnChannel awesome, could we possibly meet up there? I’ll show you some cool tips, and where some hidden pilings are
@@TommysRaw we can what day is good for you
@@FishOnChannel pick a time and date I’ll be there
