Bush great video! After losing the first 2 most of us would have blown our tops! Great job of just continuing to go about your business and taking 3 nice pomp’s home!
🌴 well my friend you got three to take home and it seems to be a good spot to fish except for the rocks from Hell 😄 thanks for taking us along , great vids as always 👊🏼👍🏼
Great video. Love how you show in all your videos how you rig and techniques. Learning a lot watching your channel, and looking forward to coming down to Florida and trying some of your techniques to catch a pompano and Sheepy.
Just found your channel last week. Love how informative your videos are. Going to try out pompano fishing for the first time this weekend here in Pinellas.
Another great video. I have been watching a bunch of your videos lately. I sent you a message about a week ago, saying I was gonna be in the area, in April, from San Diego. Both, Clearwater pass and Johns pass are places I want to hit for sure
Another great video! We used to snorkel that jetty all the way to the tip many years ago. It holds lots of keeper size mangrove snapper and 40" snook. You should try for snapper with cut greenbacks or shrimp if the pompano are not there. Looks like the red tide has not affected the jetty area. Thanks again!
We have fished the jetty tip from a boat, at night, using live grunts and pinfish. Caught and released 3 monster snook at night, one was 41". Also hooked at 6' nurse shark.
Bush! Great video again! I’ve fished around Fort Myers pier and beaches 4 days last week, 11 hour a day. No bite on Pompano. :( Can I be your cameraman? Ha ha
Love watching your video. I will be visiting to Tampa in April. Can you recommend a good place to fish round tampa bay saint pete or clearwater. Thank u
Hi, could you please give me the location for this spot? looking forward to catch some pompano for the first time in a couple weeks. Love pom but never caught any. Newly subscriber. thanks
Try using a file or hook sharpener to keep them penetrating. They may just be a little dull and that's all it takes sometimes to keep you from landing your prize.
i live local to the area and many times can go a full day without a bite or very minimal(maybe less than 5). is there a recommendation on time of day. or something i could be doing massively wrong? typically run a 1/0 circle on a dropper style rig. i sometimes fish dunedin up under the bridge or out of south tampa. the other fishers dont usually look to fare much better. maybe its just bad spots? idk.
Try free lining for sheepshead #2 j hook 20 lb fluorocarbon leader same for pompano 3/8 size jig orange teaser white teaser green teaser should be good during this time of the year 😃💪
Hey would love to link up and take the yaks or to catch some fish been in tampa a year now but still looking to explore and meet people who share the passion.
Of course another great video. Had relatives on Indian Shores this week. Told one to look you up. Too rough for them on the beach. Figured they could fish the pass. Should have gone. Use to take my girlfriend there when we could drive out to the water. Wish I would’ve taken a fishing rod. Thanks again
I’ve been watching your videos I moved down from Michigan I just want to thank you for your great videos iam learning from your videos

Great job Bushi! I gotta work on my pomp jig skills, they are lacking, lol.
Thank you, Jig should work in your side of town as well I think.

Do you ever fish in the downtown St Pete area. In the evening around the Boat docks? Seems like that could be fun.
@@gerryellwood3804 don't really do evening or night fishing
Great Job man!! Still trying to get my first of the season! Thanks for the video!
Thank you they're going to be in every pass soon 😃💪

Appreciate you watching they are going to be around there during that time for sure 😀💪

Thank you All of them are good during that time of the year I'll say skyway is going to be good and every pass around Clearwater St Pete area.
Ft DeSoto.
Awesome video, sorry to see you got wet. How is the red tide affecting the fishing? Am supposed to come down to St. Petes in the middle of April.
Thank you so far so good red tide is gone fishing is good. Hope it stays this way and the red tide don't return 😃💪
Ever had luck with going after flounder out there? Great place to catch a variety. But really trying hard for flounder.
I don't go after them but I do catch them here and there 😃💪
@FISH ON CHANNEL I caught a couple good ones last year and my wife stuff them and it was sooo good.
Hi, could you please give me the location for this spot? looking forward to catch some pompano for the first time in a couple weeks. Love pom but never caught any. Newly subscriber. thanks
Clearwater pass
Great video Bush. We got kicked off that jetty last week by the police. They told us no one's supposed to be out there
Posted signs prohibit access.
Thank you Yeah they don't let you fish there no more you have to take a chance sometime and hope they are not around there

I bet you could land a Pompano in a Creek in Tennessee👑
Haha
Where do you order your pompano jigs and what size do you recommend for piers and jettys
Every bait shop have them I use 3/8 and 1/2
What line were you using this episode?
10 lb main line 20 lb fluorocarbon leader
Are there any pompanos around December in the jetties?
Is Hit or Miss during this time of the year on a nice warm days you can find some around
Thank you! Keep up the awesome videos!
I was thinking of doing the same thing; know where’s the best spot to fish with this cold front around Largo?
Can you share what brand of fluorocarbon you use?
I use vanish every Walmart have it
@@FishOnChannel Thank you.

What’s the water temp your fishing in ?
Around 67-68
I’m north of you up in Panama City waiting on the temp to go up hopefully the pomp’s will arrive soon!
Do you ever get kicked off the jetty out there?
Lot of times 😃💪
@@FishOnChannel 🤣 ok, I've been booted off there too. I haven't fished there in forever. Some monsters out there though😉
How bad is the red tide
Not bad at all
How do you know when the jig hits the sand
Line slack and if your rod is sensitive you will feel bottom.
Just count 10 to 15 seconds if you are not sure then start jigging just don't rush your Jig
@@FishOnChannel I just worry about feeling the bite when it’s dropping and your line is slack
Does your boys eat the pompano?
Oh yeah everybody loves them 😃💪
I'm new to the Chanel I live in the tampa bay area would love to fish with you sometime if you want some company!
Thank you for your support we can make it happen 😃💪
1/2 oz jigs?
3/8
Was this Tuesday or Wednesday???
I believe it was Tuesday
Got skunked at the bridge, 5hrs, and saw zero pomps
Today Wednesday

I just watch you lose five fish in a row. You always check to see if the hook was banned, but I haven’t seen you feel if the hook is still sharp.
You right about that but the tip looked sharp. And after that I didn't have any more problem for the last few that I kept 😃💪
Shoulda invited thonny
He's not good with rocks😃
So unlucky today. LOL!
