Never would have thought of that. Good idea!
Awesome! Great comparison between the two types. Keep rockin guys👍
Something I can remember, without having to write it down! Thanks, guys!
Great video! I admit to love the higher vol games for the showiness and flash when my bankroll is up. Great tip on $ v. spins.
Great tips guys 👍🏼Thanks 😎
Casino had great music playing too…😀
Great tip. Thanks.
Liked the reasoning of playing low to high volatility. I wld just add a higher limit to the high volatility and still not come away a winner.
Now a new idea to add to my playing of volatility games which really is a winner to me.!😊
very good tips!!!
Another great video from you and Dave thank you both for your information and advice. Jay from Tennessee
We agree 100% concerning the firecracker machine!
It's brutal
Thanks Guy's will try it sometime.
Great idea money vs spins! Occasionally I will try a game but usually put in a $20 only.
Dave was jamming, reliving the glory days!!!😂 Of course u guys kno I'm not too much for the slots but I hav to admit that is a variant I enjoy!! Good stuff guys!👍
Based on the evidence and statements in this video, I have deduced that the rules for this channel are the following: Marc does the dancing and Dave does the singing on camera. Act accordingly, Gentlemen!
Great advice
Thanks guys!👍👍👍
Thank you for watching Karen!!
Dave loves Thompson Twins. Thanks for the tips.
It WAS Dave I saw at Winstar on Monday Morning. Hi guys, great advice! thanks.
It was :)
Looking forward to a Vegas trip in a few weeks, I will definitely put this into my subconscious and let you know how it works out for me. Thanks for another great video!
Good luck out there and keep the great videos coming! Watch every single one you post.
maybe you should write it down
Love playing these machines i always go max 5 lines
I’m primarily a video poker and blackjack player but the slots call to me sometimes. But I do NOT like to sit in front of a slot machine for a long time. I set a relatively low $ amount-usually $2-300 and play $10-25 a spin on high volatility games. If I double my money, I quit. And if I hit a big jackpot? I play 2 back-up spins and stop. Sometimes, I’ll take the ticket and put in another $100 bill, taking out tickets when I get to $150. And when I lose the $100 I quit. Once, I ended up with 9 tickets totaling nearly $3000, netting $2600 or so.
Good that you're banking wins but that bet size compared to your session budget just seems way too big, especially for a high volatility game. I'm not sure what your total budget size is but that seems like you're taking on way too much risk.
@@kevinb4079 yes, I just figure if the odds are going to favor me, I’m in and out quickly, one way or another. At those denoms, all it takes is one bonus or good line-pay to keep my bankroll happy. For example, on my last 7 day cruise, I did this with Century Link and Dancing Drums-$300 a night. I hit two jackpots at $25 and one at $50 and ended up netting over $5K. Which gave me my bankroll for my next cruise. I could have lost all $2100 I wagered but the RNG was my friend 3 nights out of 7. My bankroll for blackjack and VP is $600 a night-I quit when I’m up $300 or down to $100. I’m a pretty solid medium roller (and I rarely pay for cruises as they’re casino comps). Best year I’ve ever had was a $23K net win, and the worse was a $7000 loss. I only play at night (never during the day). AND, I don’t drink while I gamble. It’s a form of entertainment for me. And money management is key. (I’ve have lost and chased and never want that feeling again!)
@@slowmads It's working for you and that's great. Just be sure you don't get pulled into thinking quick hits are the norm. It can lead to bad decision making in the future. Just a word of caution. I've seen people start chasing wins after they've had similar success like that. But as long as you're managing your bankroll with discipline, that's the most important thing. Seems you're doing that.
Thanks for the tip and the fire cracker game really sucks!
Guys you’ve probably explained this before but I’m pretty new here. When you say ‘that is a nice or not nice looking card’ what are you meaning? What is the card? Would love to know as I can’t figure it out haha. Great video as always
Haha, I like the firecracker game, but I only play when someone leaves it all lit up. I know it's not "due," but it means they played it enough to get them all lit up AND probably a good bit more since most people arent going to leave until they are sick of losing. Just put a cap on it so you dont wind up chasing it as well.
i dont get it. why would you choose a machine people are sick of losing at which you know is not due?
thanks for your detailed explanation.
@@DrSchor Probability. Granted I have no idea what has happened over the lifetime of that machine, but no one does on any machine. So if I have a pretty educated reason to believe it hasn't hit in a while probability suggests it will soon.
FIRECRACKER SLOT right above the word win when it's empty the firecrackers go up to the top.
Do the firecrackers being lit mean anything? Or is there just as much chance of the bonus without showing them lit. I am a sucker on this one so often.
It means absolutely nothing - watch them in the video as they light up and then unlight. It's all an illusion :)
Secret code to get your answer; Rewrite your sentence. Leave out : "do the firecrackers lit mean anything? Or is there as much chance of the bonus without showing them lit." then leave out "on this one so often" and your answer will magically appear!
@@DrSchor totally unnecessary, I don't come on here to bully anyone, sorry you feel like you have to. Enjoy your day.
Here’s the current secret to the firecrackers. On the lower screen where it says “Good luck” “50” etc., if once you hit spin and only “win” is showing, then whatever colored rockets fall into the spin will set off that colored firecracker.
You are all very welcome 😊😊😊😊
2 smartest men on the planet! Lol
Be careful… as Marc’s wife I can’t have this going to his head 😂
hey marc, really quick question. i'm going to the casino early tomorrow morning 7a:
will i have better chances of winning on bungo slots (class ll) slots that early vs. later in the afternoon? thank in advance
No, according to the latest information I have, time of day or number of people playing has no impact.
@@GambleSmart awesome, thank you for your reply.. i'll keep watching 👍🏻
Do you guys analyze keno machines?
No we tend to stay away from keno as the odds of hitting all 20 number is so high, we may do a video next time we are in vegas
Watch your site.. now for something different..why is it on 5 cent VP one gets more 4 of a kind then on 2 dollar denom or 5 dollar denom..where is the RG? Please explain. Thanks
It's just randomness making it seem like you get four of a kind more often on a lower bet. Or you are playing more hands. I've gone thousands of hands without a 4 of a kind on different denoms and have gotten 2 in 5 hands before. I think the odds of four of a kind are in the range of 1 in 412 but that's just your overall chances. Certainly doesnt mean to up your bet when you hit 400 hands without one.
I have played several slot machines. I am not a max bet player, usually like on a 9 line max bet machine I usually bet 3 lines sometimes 5. It always happens a winning combination comes up on a line that I am not betting and its usually a high pay out combination. I am sure if i was betting the max that would not come up a winner. Is that true? Or would it have come up if i was betting the max bet?
Really depends on the game, so couldn't tell you in general.
Yikes! What is the problem with your understanding of the word "random"?
I have a question for you guys..do the casinos pay the high dollar slot players on TH-cam? Obviously with all their veiws they make money on TH-cam just wondering about the casinos.
Can't know for sure. Really depends on a lot of factors.
no, of course not
what do do if it is med ? like crystal star and crystal star deluxxe?
You pick - either $ or # of spins, but put some kind of limit before you start playing. Always!
I have a question that I hope you either respond to here or maybe even do a small video on this particular question. If every slot machine is random, and there is no predictor from the past, what is going to happen then why change machines why play machine for a few minutes and then leave it? Stating that nothing in the past indicates the future so you suggest 20 spins or a certain amount of spins of our choosing on a high volable game, but what’s the reason if the past doesn’t matter and the future is not being predicted what’s the purpose of changing machines? I hope this makes sense because a lot people change the machines because they’re hoping to find a good one that will hit, but there’s nothing that we can do to predict the head on any machine, according to the information you give out!
Changing machines is a purely emotional effort. Makes you feel like you are in control.
Most people can't understand what an acceptable profit is. For a slot or video poker game I stick with 20%. Once I make a 20% profit I will cash out. You also have to understand how much you can expect to win on any given machine and denomination. People want to put in $100 and double their money and that it completely unrealistic.
we don't have those slot machines on the east coast
Great video as always, but I am a little confused as to why you are playing a class 2 slot in a video about volatility? I was under the impression that when dealing with class two slots volatility is not an issue?
It still is, just somewhat different - Unfortuantely, Winstar World Casino has no low volatility Class 3 games in anything less than $25 denomination :(.
Hey Sherlock. Name just one machine anywhere that is not volitile!
@@DrSchorHey DR DS,with Class 2 ( bingo machines) there is no volatility. I could be playing a Lightning Link game versus any other 3 Reel game and it doesn’t make a difference since the payout is based on a bingo card and not the slot machine itself.
I know how you feel about Dragon Link and Lightning Link, but can you do a video on one and play a little? Someone else here might also be interested. I have had great wins on them and sad ones too.
It's more of a slot education channel. Most of the slot play is done on live streams. You might want to try watching them and ask in chat to play these machines. Not saying they will but it's your best chance of seeing it. But if they are up in their session they may play a little.
@@kevinb4079 Those games are what I primarily play if they’re not taken. The free games are many times very disappointing but hold and spin can be very good even on smaller bets.
❤ 🌵
This is basically the Professor Slots - Tough Love Method.
I wouldn't know. Isn't that they guy who claims the casinos do things that aren't even legal?
How do i know wich is a High and which game is a Low volatile game(machine) ??
Below is the general criteria for what a low volatility game is. The further a game strays from these attributes the higher in volatility it will likely be:
- Denom is .25 or higher
- No more than 3 reels and 5 paylines
- No bonus games or features (Reel nudge feature not included e.g. Double Diamond Deluxe)
- No more then a 3x multiplier on any reel
- Must pay bet back or more for any line hit
- No progressive jackpot(s)
In a nut shell the less a game has going on the lower in volatility it will be. The more it has going on or seems like you can win a lot for little risk, the higher in volatility it will be.
I miss the foil hat Marc 😢😂
LOL
How do you find the volatility level of the machine?

Should have taken a shot of the rules on the firecracker game. I'm not sure that one actually says that the amount of firecrackers has no effect on your chances of getting a bonus. Even though I know it doesn't I found that some of the machines don't say that in the rules like dancing drums does. I used to do that 20 spin count thing when working a bank of buffaloe machines in my little local casino ,but I found myself always losing count so I ended up buying one of those little clicker things called a hand tally counter and clicking it every time I did a spin so I could keep track without having to remember where I was at in the count. Lol
Yeah, we looked - that one doesn't show it unfortunately.
@@GambleSmart I've been wandering around my local casino just checking rules on some of these visually teasing games and I don't find it a lot on some of them even though I know it's just a tease on a lot of them. I guess they don't have to put it in there. When it's there I show people I know, I would never show it to a stranger unless I wanted to get my head torn off, lol, but even the people I know keep right on playing them after I show it to them.
@@WildBillRidesAgain I looked on one of them(can’t remember which one) and the rules basically said that the size of the pot had no effect on whether the bonus would hit or not. It was probably Fu Dai Lian Lian, another very popular game. There’s so many of them now with similar visual effects.
Does fast tapping charge anything?
No
Yes, it changes how fast your money disappears. All fast tapping does is speed up play.
Am I mistaken here or wouldn't it just be easy to pick a high value and only put the money you want to lose into the machine? If you don't want to lose $100 and plan to stop at $75, just put in $75 from the start.
How can I easily identify a low or high volatility slot? 🤔
I wonder this also
On a game like firecrackers, I'll put 20 in and min bet. Walk if i double or get a nice bonus
So after you try the 20 spins.. You move to another machine high or low and repeat ? or you just go home 🤔😂
Either...The point is to not get caught up chasing these high volatility machines. Get out before the "siren's call" sucks you in! If someone was going to continue to play I would suggest going back to a low volatility game and hope to grow your bankroll. Then you can consider trying a high volatility game again if you want. Also, 20 spins is just an example for the budget used. If you have a bigger budget you could adjust these limits. But I would still caution against how many spins you give a single high volatility game because of the propensity people have to chase bonuses etc..
@@kevinb4079 news flash: hope is not a good plan
I lost focus jammin to Prince😅
These "slot techs" made it sound like you should stop at $20 up or down no matter what. This is not accurate. It should be based on your bet amount and set a limit based on that. They were only betting $1.25. If you were to set a limit of $20 but you were betting $5 or even $10 a spin, you would be done before you even got started even on a low volatility.
nah I'm spinning until I hit a bonus or lose whatever set amount ($100?) on high vol. (also I'm very much a losing slot player)
People are mathematically bound to lose their monies on these machines
Should have played huff n puff for the high volatility game. Nobody should play that dumb firecracker game, it’s not worth the effort.
The reason we played the firecracker game is because everyone always seems to be playing it lol. Yes, it's a terrible game.
That shit is fun for people? No skill just luck!
I think you guys are like all the rest of the gamblers no difference. And nobody knows how do use machines work if we did we would all win all the time, so I do watch your channel but I don’t want to take you very seriously!
Why does Vegas Matt get a jackpot on every few turns ?
Because he’s betting high :)
