Every gambler wants the big win. Take the little wins they add up. Take the little wins they add up. (Remember, take the little wins the add up)
The losses add up faster
@@nikkichantele3130 ain't that the truth
I can attest what you say and your rule for cashing out with small wins are absolutely true. I get greedy and thats my downfall wanting a bigger win. I did try your method using $400 free slot play and print a ticket after a win and ended with $700 of cashable tickets. Its all about discipline and not being greedy.
Well done!
So do you just play until you win on one Machine.
Then cash in znd ho home.
Or do you play until you win on one machine cash in and then move to another machine until you win on that one then cash in again and keep repeating this at the same Casino.?
Only what im thinking is you may play 30 dollars before you win 20 dollars, cash in and walk out loosing 10 dollars.
@@theburtons49 from his video on this method you cash out whenever you win more than you bet, no matter the cash out balance. Even if entry is $20 and after a win the balance is only $15. Then either put new cash in, or try a new machine. The practice is just cash out every win and not play on them like we normally do
You put $400 in a machine, you spin, your total is $410. Do you then print the ticket? That was all of 1 minute, then what do you do? Need a video of walking this method through for a number of spins and sessions.
I'm 67 and in grade school we had a saying...."Greedy Got Drowned" ( pronounced Drown'ded)....we were talking about candy in those days, but the rule applies to gambling nowadays 😂❤Also once sat and watched a man win 700.00 on the machine "Grease" and play it ALL BACK, and then he had the audacity to be pissed as hell! Curseing and pounding on the machine etc😮it was quite a disturbing occurrence that caused me to actually move away from the machine I was playing 😢ugh
One of the biggest downfalls of Gambling at the casino is folks get so wrapped up in thinking of hitting that big hit and it manipulates the mind so bad that you can’t focus on the small wins
So very true 👍
True! I learned to track my small wins by not starting the game with $100 bills. I start with $5-$20 and Cash out my wins This strategy increases my bankroll.
Yes! I’m grateful I get excited with little wins. I see so many people throw the win back into machine chasing more
The 2nd biggest is that a particular machine "HAS to hit" because they have put in $2000 and it hasn't given a bonus or a big win. So they keep feeding $100 bills....
@@PenyaDePenaI like your strategy. Good 👍 way to train the mind too.
One of your best videos EVER!
Money management is THE key component in trying to profit if that is your goal.
Unfortunately 99.9% of people have no goal going in anyway, which is fine, but don’t expect to leave with more money than you went in with.
Hoping you get lucky is not a goal.
10% profit on 100 dollar going in isn’t much. BUT it’s 10%. If you were lucky enough to do that (highly unlikely, if not impossible) daily for a year, well that’s a tidy little sum.
Consistency and persistence is key.
Like you said it’s the small bullets you have actually won several times over that the house knows you will give back on top of your money in.
Everyone wants a $10000 payday on a $1 bet.
Set goals if you are serious about actually trying to hope to make money.
Thanks for the great video!
House always wins they're programed to make you lose this guy had no idea
Years ago my wife and when to a casino for the weekend ,we couldn't check in to our room for an hour or more, so we played some slots. I hit 150 cashed out put in her purse then she hit 500 put in her purse then another 500. We had 1200 dollars before we got to our room.
😮
I am guilty of most times playing down to zero. Next casino trip plan to cash out each win will be very interesting to see the result. Thanks again Marc for a great video
Just keep 15% of your income for casino when it gone never come back till payday and collect the wins
very well said Marc that's what i do, if my money gained profit even just $20 i walked away, imagine if i have $20 a day in a month i have $60 extra savings👍😊
He who gambles, wins and runs away, will have money to gamble another day.
I bought money box, have to push myself to put money in but last time I used I brought home 900$, I usually put money back a lot.
I am definitely going to do this next trip!😊
On a trip to the UK I spent a few hours playing slots at a casino in London. The machines there were mostly the same ones (from same companies) I was familiar with in USA except for one difference: instead of adding wins to my total cash, wins were tracked separately. As my cash bankroll decreased I could see the amount of wins adding up in a separate window. I could withdraw those wins to a TITO or transfer to my cash credits.
Thus, the machines performed the practice discussed in this video of keeping wins separate - but without the bother of cashing out and having to put more cash in. Slot manufacturers have this for their UK market, they could provide it in US!
My problem is when I drive a hour to the casino and I hit right away. I don't want to drive right back home so I stay.
Same. Like I wanna relax, have some drinks and fun 😂😢
Time to re-define “Fun”.
Go have a drink and dinner and relax, enjoy your win. You'll go home with some of your winnings, had a good time for free and gained a little. It's a win, win, win!!! 💜💜💜
Go have a drink and dinner and relax, enjoy your win. You'll go home with some of your winnings, had a good time for free and gained a little. It's a win, win, win!!! 💜💜💜
Take at least 75% of your win& set it aside-it’s gone!
Then start over.
Another fantastic video - you guys just keep getting better and better and we are all the better for it. Thanks!
I know I sit too long after a big hit. I keep waiting for handpays and fail to get up after a good spin. I’m getting better.
Sit too long? If my favorite machine is paying good, I'll sit there all night!!! 🤦♀️ (I guess I'm subconsciously waiting for the NEXT good hit to come up!)
Listen to these Gentlemen, then listen again. Our best play comes well after we’ve established our limits and expectations, selected the games right for us and begin our play. Cash out tickets and gladly pocket winnings no matter how small - slow and steady wins the race - never chase the rabbit. 🧜🏻♀️😎👍🤙
I carry $20s and withdraw my slip after a decent win. Sometimes it's a few dollars and other times more. It is hard to quit and not put the money back in. I carry a little bank in my purse, sometimes I use it and sometimes I just feel like playing because I'm having fun. Either way I get mad at myself, because I've been ahead most times then put it back in. That's why I watch these videos so they'll stay in my mind when im gambling. Last two times I went, I won $2,000 and stopped. Then, another $700 and stopped, so I hope that's what I continue to do. I've been playing older machines with a higher denomination and that appears to be a better bet.
I have won big time on slot machines! I have lost big time on a slot machine, too! It's called gambling. Heading to Pearl River Resorts in Choctaw, Mississippi, next Friday the 31st and coming home so hubs can play golf tournament on 4th then back to Mississippi on 7th through the 9th! We're stoked! We won't go back for a month or so but yeah, really looking forward to it!
Great advice My method is taking wins until my bankroll is depleted. If I walk out of a casino with 80 percent of my money, .I'm good. It's all luck. Last week I was $200 ahead
Me and my wife have our way of playing. We put in 20 dollars at a time and whenever we double our money with that original bet we cash out and add another 20 or move on. When we addem up the next morning it is surprising how well we do. Most nights we have a great time and break even and occasionally we do very well. Thanks for all the info!
This is exactly what I do, too. Most times, I go home breaking even or close to that! I collect each win on one voucher, which then turns into my seed money for the next trip!
IMO, breaking even is a win … will focus & practice these teachings !
You speak so much truth. Those machines really can get you going by listening to your talks. My confidence is building thank you
Love all your advices and thank you immensely! I live in Vegas and read on FB to ask the casino to write a check for jackpots. I have not verified $3000 as the minimum. Walking around with the check, taxes paid, and temptation removed is my most glorious gambling feeling.
Love it! This is like a fireside chat!
I do a variation of this. Anytime I’m in profit territory I’ll cash out.
I have twice seen folks hit the Grand ($15,000 in these two cases) on different cruise ships, both were 88 cent denominations and minimum bets. Of course these were both very lucky instances.
Brilliant video. I agree with everything you mentioned. My problem is I have no self-discipline to cash out on small wins!
Hi Mark, we're going again June 16 can't wait🎉 thanks for more advice
That’s exactly how I get my free cruises. I put my winnings back into the machine and it does add up. Although my last cruise I actually won my first handpay of $1800. I put it in my room safe. Then I played my cash of $200. and won here and there and still got another free cruise. I scored again! 😂
Can you give some instructions on the dragon link Thanks
Great reminders, Marc!
I manage to always win, but I can't help myself 😂😂 give it all back and some
Me too. That when it really hurts
[apologies if this is something you have already covered and I have missed that video] - perhaps working through a couple of specific examples of your betting method would be helpful for players. What would your exact strategy be if you went to a casino with $100 for a session, $500 for a session, $1,000 for a session? How would you break that amount down for the purposes betting, break it in half, 33%, 25%, etc? What threshold would you set for yourself for a win being 'up' before you collected a ticket and then put in your next amount of money, up by 20%, 50%, etc?
Thank you for your continued great content!
Hey there - we did do a few videos on this! Here you go: th-cam.com/video/AYEfqBLb9A4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iUjzPVuvbAlqBLVy and th-cam.com/video/wWf1I4zfuBQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Z6jtB1PqZyPzbK_C
Also Splits & Double Downs require you to up your bet to get the 2-3x payout
Thanks for these videos, I can’t wait to put your tips into practice.
Great advise!😊
Thanks ! Mark and Dave !! I'm going to do this on my trip to Vegas in late august. Keep up the great content.
Good luck!
We’re going to Vegas in late August too!
I have three questions:
1. Are RNG outcomes assigned to “each” individual reel as they are displayed or is this number assigned to the full display of all reels as one final outcome.
2. Are machines capable of increasing or decreasing the spin rate speed before, after or during a bonus or regular play. I notice a higher spin rate speed sometimes after you win.
3. Are tactile touch screens with stop features actually allowing you to stop the spin play on certain symbols as you manually touch screen areas.
1) One RNG pick per reel, then it evaluates the result as a win or loss
2) No, they are not capable of doing that
3) No, the moment you press the spin button and place the wager, the result has already been decided. All fast stopping does is speed up the result being presented to you.
@@GambleSmart Thanks for the answers and quick response. This clears up a lot of unanswered questions I’ve had for a longtime.
Thank you for sharing? Now I know what to do now 🤗
Are you risk of “missing” a bonus pay if you hit it but are speed-playing and press go before the bonus plays out?
No the result will be the same fast stopping or not.
Excellent advice
You can do that at Harrah’s Pompano Beach ⛱️ on the high-limits slots
Great advice for gambling at slot machines. You could, for example, start with a $200 bankroll, and divide it up by 10. Put just one $20 amount into a slot machine at a time. If you lose it all, you have not lost the entire $200 bankroll, just the $20 you put in. If on the other hand you happen to win by $40 or better, cash it out. Let's say you profit $40 from five of those ten $20 bills, a $200 profit. In other words, YOU DOUBLED your $200 bankroll, meaning that you started with $200, and won $200. Just a very simple example. Of course, it's possible to win and profit by $1000 or more. Again, manage your given bankroll amount, in your chosen amount that is not more than you can afford to lose, be it $100, $200, $500, or even $1000 plus. Being careful can minimize your losses, or better yet, MAXIMIZE YOUR WINS.
All you have to do is look at a win loss statement…it’s amazing to see what was spent, what was won and realizing how large that figure is compared to what actual cash you played
Yep! Only almost half way there. My money in is 80k nd my out is over 200k im like, no way. I dont see 200k hahahah
Or do I feel like Ive put 80K in either 😅😅😅
What percentage is it in Win Star casino in Oklahoma?
Do you mean to cash out if your above the amount you initially put in the machine?
That's up to you. We usually like to break out session down into smaller chunks. For example, let's say we're going to play slots on $100. We'll split that into 10 $10 bills. We'll play a machine, usually $0.25, with the first $10 until we get a hit that is over what we bet. Then we'll cash out that ticket, and put in our next $10. Keep doing that until we're out and see what we had left.
To compare the success of this, just put $100 in the machine and see what you end up with after about 100 spins :)
Marc
@@GambleSmart Thank you for the detailed response!
Glad I found your channel!
Welcome!
What does it mean when a slot in tapped and how would you know?
There is no such thing as a slot being tapped. :)
I just can’t figure out why when I sit down the machine on both sides of me hit n my machine becomes a turkey
It's all part of randomness in a long term mathematical probability program (which is what a slot machine runs). There will be swings of wins and losses, but you never know what is going to come next.
If I put $100 in and win 200 and cash out, does that stop the machine from potentially getting on a roll because now thinks a new person has sat down
No, each spin is completely independent and random. The machine doesn't change based on what has come previously or who has played previously.
Makes sense to me!!!
Thank you going to try your tips
Do you have a video on how to improve on playing High Limit Slots?
Same rules apply, just requires a bigger bankroll. Always play within your means.
How do you cash out your wins from your tickets? Lets say I put I $100 and win $20 how do I cash out the $20? Wouldn't the ticket be $120?
Yes, it would. This is why we always start with low amounts in the machine. Let's say our budget for the session is $100. We break that into $10 chunks and play each $10 (usually on a 75 cent bet up to 1.25) until we get a win more than our bet back, then we cash out and put the next $10 in.
@@GambleSmart Wouldn't it be easier to just set a win goal and stop loss for each round?
Can you provide some examples of low voluntivity games.

I've won quite a few times on my 2nd small hit of the day, usually a bigger hit than the first one while playing the same slot. I would have been saying goodbye to more money that I won if I had cashed out on that first small win. Just saying.
Quick question - where are the slots on Fremont that you can win the keepsake coin? Were there right now and can’t find them.
4 Queens had a bunch of them, but they removed them temporarily. I believe Plaza still as a few. It's called "Silver Strike"
@@GambleSmart Thank you so much! We just asked at 4 Queens and they’re not back yet. Heading to the Plaza now! Side note: I’ve done the envelope system and I’m up a couple hundred bucks. Hubby did not and he’s almost out of money. Do I have to share? 😂
That’s awesome! Hell no you don’t have to share LOL

Can you talk about if there are any parts of slots which involve player choice if not skill? for example:
* Aiming the ball shooter in jackpot carnival
* Choosing the oil rig locations in texas tea
* Any of the match 3 games
If there is really no choice involved, is there at least something we can look at like a probability table to show you the chance of hitting a particular outcome on these types of features? or does it just roll up to RTP and the machine manufacturer is under no obligation to give you a 'fair game' within any of these features beyond RTP.
Once you match 3, if they don’t show what’s under the other selections, then it’s predetermined. Just like the pots in Dancing Drums, you never see what’s under the others.
Linda is correct
What about the jackpot carnival ball shooter? @GambleSmart
just saw a sign .... $20.00 to play free slots. Now that is hilarious!
Da more you spin da more you lose.
I always win...i just dont leave !!@
Go into a casino with your bankroll and spend a maximum of 15 minutes then walk out... Win .. lose or draw
Not easy to take money from casino
People need to learn to walk away from a machine that keeps taking.
why do people turn up the volume?
Only to get a better experience with the game - personally, I enjoy the audio quite a bit. It has no bearing on the outcomes of the game though.
Heck yeah just like on naked and afraid take those little wins lol. Those little wins will get you through 😊
I should have watched this before the weekend 😂
We’ve all said that guys! Let’s see what we can do!! :)
It basically boils down to discipline and self control.
A battle of wits, self control tested!
it seems like the biggest win for self control would be to never arrive at the casino, since the longer you play the likelier you are to walk away with negative lifetime gambling earnings.
I can walk out of the casino if I win a few hundred dollars. I have no problem doing that. My problem is that I come back the next day, and the next day…
When I read this comment, I thought I might of posted it. This is what I say word for word 🤔
@@hiroehayes593 that’s funny… but not really at the same time.

I was in the UK the last couple weeks and every win on a slot machine goes into a “bank” and you can see how much you are actually winning instead of it just going back into your credits. Made a HUGE difference seeing it as true, visible winnings!
Once I start battling on one machine without cashing out, it’s hard to cash out even after $300 win! Then it’s so quick to lose the winnings back to the machine. Now I learned to play on many low volatile machines, thanks to this channel, I cash out even $1 win in the beginning, then play 10 to 20 machines, collect all vouchers, cash them together and re-evaluate, then go back to another cycle again. It’s like a circuit training at the gym, and it’s amazing to see how long the same $300 lasts! 😂
This is a great way of doing it! 👏
We do get a LOT of small hits without realizing it. The proof is in the win loss statements. Love your channel! Thank you for helping us.
I never ever thought to cash out a profit no matter how small and then starting over. I always tend to only cash out if I double my starting bankroll or more. The amount of times I’ve been $50 ahead and then ended up with zero is embarrassing. I am at a casino as I speak, and I’m going to start the “cash out small profits” method immediately. Thanks, Marc!
Great information. When I take a break from slots I play video poker . It is not exciting but you can win on it with learning some strategy.
I keep track of what I spend each month I go about every 3 to 4 weeks. When I saw my Win/Loss statement I was shocked. I didn’t realize how much I had put back into the machines. All those little wins. Wow. That was an eye opener for me. Now I’m taking those little wins and keeping them. Of course my play time is shorter. But I’m sticking to it and saving money.
Love your tips!
I don't know about banking a $7 win 😂
BUT you are absolutely right! If your budget is 200-300 bring $50 bills and cash out the ticket if the balance on the machine goes up to ~100 or whatever your preference
As long as the ticket never goes back in the machine,
You CAN leave a winner!
Best tip - don’t play at all! 💩
Hard to walk away! It is addicting, it is gambling after all!
It certainly is!
Trust me brother it's just like smoking crack. You're after that original buzz. ✌️💙🏇🏇🏇
I like to start with a 20... double that i cash out and start over,,, sometimes it works out good..
I’m going to try this today
Did this yesterday and walked out $70 up from starting budget!!
By following your tips these last several months, I've managed to lose less at the slots than before. 😉
Still chasing that "going home with more than I brought" experience, but getting closer every time. Thanks Marc!
Good for you friend. Confident with your attitude you will get there. Best to you.
House always wins they're programed to make you lose this guy had no idea
Marc, Thanx again. Great info ! I will add that ca$inos hate what you are saying. They will eventually cut your promos / rewards etc. down to near zero when they realize you are taking your wins and quiting ! Especially playing only your'e promos then leaving 😮
love the stacking up tickets and just using what cash is left strategy. great content!
My husband and I have a gambling budget. We start with $20 if we win we cash it out, then put in a fresh $20 bill. We usually go home with about the same amount we came with. We've done this for years. Glad to hear you validate our gaming style.
I’ve been gambling for 35+ years and still going strong . I Thank God Almighty for all the jackpots that I’ve won and all honor and glory belongs to my Lord Father Almighty.
Oh my God has nothing to do with gambling😢
Hey if he thinks thanking God helps that's fine
Gambling is a sin yet you're thanking God smh
This is amazing to read God bless
But you never tell anyone what you lose!😂
Thanks Marc, it's good to have these reminders. The more I hear them, the more I practice them. Before I found your channel, I would wander aimlessly in a casino, not knowing anything about volatility, budgeting, etc. You and Dave have helped make going to the casino fun.
House always wins they're programed to make you lose this guy had no idea
Totally true!! I wish people listened and followed the great advice! Thank you Marc!
10:54 I have always banked my wins. Cash my tickets when I leave. Always leave either even or ahead. Play for several hours.
Great ideas, Marc. I typically cash out when I double up my initial investment. With your way, I'm more likely to walk away with a little more profit. Thanks!
Great tips Mark and Dave! I personally modified your recommendation of cashing out. I count my spins when budget building. DD. $100 at $3 per spin = 33 spins. Whatever is left are my winnings! I may lose $ but always leave with $ in my pocket!
I count spins also. Started that many years ago.
I usually walk into a casino with $20 and walk out with $100 or more within 10 minutes because I know when to stop playing. I have always done this and have never walked out as a loser. I also play the simple slots, lucky 777 dollar machines. I only do 1 bet. I never play max.
You have never walked out of a casino as a loser?🤔 You must be part of the Trump family...
Always play max
So if I put $100 in a quarter machine and bet $2, what should I stop at and collect the ticket? I'm trying to wrap my mind around it.
Morning Marc! ‘Cause of Daves foodie romp video had to go to Planet Hollywood and grab lunch at Blondies. We sat at the quarter machines for hours, had a blast! It’s supposed to be fun 🤩 not a mission to take the casinos!!
You can definitely win by not playing at all!!
My dad always taught me that you walk into the casino with whatever bankroll you have and consider that money already lost. The people who end up in trouble are the people who bring in amount of money and then lose that and head straight for the ATM trying to recap their losses if you walk in with $1000 and you lose that thousand dollars time to leave, never chase your losses
Love , love ,love your videos. I went into Hollywood Casino this morning in Washington, PA. $100 bill, left with $800 literally within 20 minutes following your advice. Thank you!!
Congratz, man! which machines were you playing?
House always wins they're programed to make you lose this guy had no idea
I never put more than £5 in at a time - I get a win I cash out. Good advice. Take your wins, keep stakes low, don't be greedy!
My problem is I like to play untill I hit a jackpot then I leave that machine and play another one until it jackpots, even if its small...😂🎉
Ouch!!! :)
You’re right about not thinking correctly after a big win, Marc. I won the major on Dragon Link last month for a total of $6300 playing 5.00 on a nickel denom. I spent about 2 grand playing $25 spins because I was so excited, and when else am I gonna be able to play big? Thank God hubby won a couple of hand pays plus my winning streak hung on for a bit, or we’d have come home with only half my jackpot, lol. Next big win I’m gonna take a little break from the machines and walk around the casino until I come down from my high.
Good video. I’m gonna start practicing cashing out if I make more than my bet back and see how much I’m actually winning, so thank you!
Quick question and it may be a dumb question, but does the denomination of a machine affect the volatility. In simpler terms, is a $1 machine more volatile than a $.25 machine or does that not have any effect on volatility?
One thing I find myself doing, is cashing out at an even number, say 213 dollars to 200. Or if suddenly the payout shows 187 dollars, you say if I can bring it back to 200, I'll stop. Before you know it, you're down to 100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When people go to the casino all they see are the possibilities. The reason the casinos are rich and 90% of the players go home broke is because the casino (games) are based on the probabilities.
My wife and I have noticed this method a lot at the casinos. It's most often older Asian women that we see doing this and we've always wondered what the hell they're doing. Now I get it, they're gambling smart!
Another thing i see often is getting wins right away, like 1st machine we sit down at. It's usually around 50 -75$ often off just promo, which we only get like 10 bucks. The hardest part is leaving with that money and not staying there another 3 hours and losing $300 🤮
