Day sail to beautiful Chacachacare, Trinidad⛵️Ep.53

Mark and Amy invited a bunch of us out for a shake down sail on their beautiful Tayana 58, Infinity, after 6 months sitting on the hard, doing modifications, repairs and painting. It always takes longer than we expect, so it was an exciting day when she was finally launched again.
We had a change of plans half way through the sail, and ended up at beautiful Chacachacare, where ruins from an abandoned leper colony dot the shoreline of the Island!
We had from 0 with current, to around 14 knots of breeze, which made the sail there interesting! Once anchored we enjoyed swimming, while the bbq was brought up to temperature!
It was close to a perfect day with great company, and lovely sailing conditions for a big part of the day!
