It's kind of funny how Genji's deflect is a giant screen in front of him, but if Doomfist looks down while blocking, you can headshot him with no damage block. It's also kind of funny that you basically need to be Nostradamus to hit your primary fire past point blank range at anything that's trying to dodge you instead of moving in a straight line, because his primary fire projectile speed is so slow and that his block can't prevent things like sleep dart and javalin, oh also kind of funny that Orisa's javalin will stun you for 1 second without any hoops to jump through other than terrain collision, but regular punch has no stun duration even at full charge when the target hits terrain ... and that empowered punch still gets stopped by Brig dash and Rein dash and Orisa javalin. And I don't know for sure, but it would be pretty funny if Doom punch didn't break Junkrat traps ... while Genji's dash does. But hey, other than that, basically on the same level as other tanks. Nice to see that he can pull this off with doom in this state.
Reminder they also made the attack where you launch your giant metal "doom"fist at someone deal the same amount of damage as a lil punch with your normal fist.
You literally have to lead your shots POINT BLANK to hit all the pellets.

The most difficult part of playing doomfist is to trust the healer.

If the hero isn’t getting better, the players are going to get better.
I have a feeling Doomfist is going to get the same treatment as Genji in OW1 but more extreme: the hero isn’t necessarily strong, but as the players get better, the less likely they’ll receive any attention or even nerfs as for those who main them are finding ways to compete against the meta.

i quit overwatch sometime in 2018, and i have no interest in playing OW 2 since blizzard/activision's policies have been awful. but the final nail in the coffin was nerfing doomfist to be basically useless, since he was my favorite character to play as. i love some physics- based movement abilities and knocking people around.

Doomfist has always been overpowered. This is a funny video title. It's like good tracers aren't annoying as hell in overwatch. Both characters have always been a thorn in the side.
