Good decision for a senior citizen. He can walk an hour 2 times a day for good health in BGC streets with no worries.
He loves to walk every morning. That’s how he can keep up with the fam☺️
walking is the key, thats why Greenfield area condos + shang x megamall , is the most cost effective place 1/3 cost of BGC

I discovered your channel a few weeks ago, and since then, I can't stop watching your videos. Having lived in BGC (north side) for almost 20 years and witnessed its development, the minute details you provide make me feel like I'm experiencing BGC anew. I'm delighted that your family is enjoying the Philippines. I have also seen some of your videos taken outside the Philippines, and they are all informative. Continue to spread good vibes and enjoy. I can't wait to see GP's adventures in the Philippines, too! I hope to bump into you one of these days in BGC... =)

BGC is nice if you like crowds and lots of people and city living. BUT it's so expensive, that you might as well stay in USA. Also, it's a bubble. Right outside there are many ghettos. You'll see guards on the perimeter with big guns. St. Luke's hospital is probably the best medical in PH, but of course your Medicare won't work there - so bring money or you won't get treated.
BGC is also not immune to the pollution of Manila, so some days it can be agitating to breathe and you can see the haze/smog. I will say that parts of BGC have a nice breeze that the rest of Manila doesn't have. I think this is due to all the high buildings and the "downdraught effect." The breeze doesn't seem to exist in some parts of BGC so it's interesting.
It's a nice area, but I couldn't see living there long term. It's a popular area for tourists, so it's always crowded and sometimes hard to walk around during the evenings. And again, over-priced as a result - one of the most expensive areas of the entire Philippines.....

Thats in Bacoor in Cavite. We live a few blocks from that restaurant. If you plan to visit the Aguinaldo Mansion for a museum tour, you can do that as stopover.
It's a house converted to a small restaurant, check or search it in TH-cam the best halo-halo in digman then you decide.

I love going and just enjoying most of what BGC has to offer. I like how diverse it is there. Different cultures mixed and intertwined to create a more vibrate more lively vibe. Oh and btw, the way on how you introduced BGC and how you showcased it, man, I thought I know a lot about the place but have to see and learn more from you guys. You are the official "unofficial tour guides" for me. And GP, I could see how he enjoyed the stroll even under the sweltering heat, because it indeed was really fun and stomach-filling at the same time. Yummmmy.

Razon’s is also my favorite halo-halo spot. Delicious, simple, not overwhelming with ingredients, and what makes it for me is the plantain bananas and the creaminess of the whole halo-halo. Nia’s segment was so cute and sweet narrating how her parents met.
when you mix the halo halo, just put the spoon under and mix it without lifting the spoon and mix it slowly... thats the way it mix...just turn the spoon circular motion.....

husband's back, I just finished watching another channel, RUTH AISLING, she is a solo lady traveler. She was using
the neatest little drone, it is HOVERAIR X-1 and is the size of you cell phone. It is totally automatic, it will just follow you
along, and have over 5 different video modes. Ruth lives in Scotland and is covering her own country. Just thought this
drone might be useful.

I love the city and the people. They are so courteous to everyone. And it's contagious to be nice to others. I can afford the living style. Food is very reasonable, transportation is simple and cheap. The kids did a great job. I absolutely wouldn't mind living in the Philippines. Salamat po....MomDuty

Those kids are on a field trip in the Mind Museum. My daughters sponsored the Yttrium element in the Periodic Table in the Mind Museum. Symbol Y also the 1st letter of our surname Ybiernas.
That is so cool! How did you get to sponsor that? Through her school?
When the MInd Museum was built, they raised funds and allowed others to join in the building of the museum. So the periodic table elements went for Php 5,000 per element. You can see my daughters names under the Y symbol. They also made the constellations available for sponsorship. This was 12 years ago...

Modern and well-planned city, I hope they can build more like BGC in Metro Manila area. Filipinos overseas and even foreigners are getting attracted in retiring in the Philippines because of affordability and more developments in the country plus English is widely used and understood by many. Soon I can go back home🙂

I like the Mitsukoshi area, the area, I bought my condominium. Why if I like street food? I proceeded to Comembo, where I can buy my morning breakfast like Turon, Boiled egg, Taho,kutsinta,sapin-sapi,puto, Local Fruits, and Bananacue then I proceeded to Starbucks to purchase green tea, and stayed at least 2 hours..... the life of Jologs is wonderful 😊
