We got up at 6am and when down to take our picture with the landmark buoy. Very few people there at that time.

We are going this summer. Took me seven months of everyday checking to catch a four night booking at a state park there.

Boyd's has sure changed since I stayed there in 1980. As I remember it was kind of cut out of the jungle and it was me, a woman I remember from Fairfax County, VA and a hippie couple in a school bus that sold sunglasses. As for me I was on my 1969 Royal Enfield motorcycle and camping in a tent. I'd close the bars at 4:00 a.m. sleep in the tent until it got too hot and then sleep on the picnic table until I woke up. What an adventure. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
