Thank you. This happened to me from delivering my baby/c section. It helps explain everything very well. It will help me articulate things better to my dr.
This also happens to me on both of my 2 birth deliveries. Normal and c-section. The doctors cant give me answers on what really happen. What I did is exercise, massage and ice compact.
I Forget to tell you that after I came out from the hospital they send me in a readaptation center in my area, I was treated there for almost one year without getting a normal walking pattern. They gave me twice cortisone under my left foot but it did not help at all . I keep hoping that I get back to a normal walking pattern. I’m sorry for my English writing I am French speaking, thank you for your help !
finally got a set date for my sergory for my siatica Spinnal disc decompression .L4 and L5 s1 set for the 28th of this month. sergeon is Tashi schaaf located in pinole Tara hills office. hope all goes well.

Hi. My husband has foot drop for long time and no one can find out what is causing, he has done all the MRIs for his spinehe has no herniation but he has bulging. Orthopedic surgeon say that herniation can not cause his foot drop, he was also checked for muscle distrophy was negative as well MS. Today a docgtor told him something about hamstring, can a hamstring cause this?
I developed this gait and paralysis of my right foot 2 weeks ago (with burning lower back pain for months prior). My Dr said it's probably my Fibromyalgia :/
Once you get diagnosed with fibro they blame everything on it. Started losing feeling in hands and feet over a year ago now as well as terrible chronic mid back pain and spasms from the neck down and shortness of breath. Just now getting a work up on it all. I hope you have better luck with doctors than I have so far.
I can dorsiflex my foot all right, but I find these gaits lighter and more enjoyable (nice stretch to the hip and a little bounce), so I walk like that on purpose. These gaits are also similar to proper barefoot running technique. Maybe the "normal" foot dragging gait is the shoe wearing gait or soft surface gait...
probably some other deceases should be mentioned, like Charcot-Marie-Tooth. just a few people are aware of it while the frequency of the condition is 1/1000.
ive experienced this after crossing my legs, but i also had spinal surgery recently so maybe its related to that? i dunno but i sound so loud when walking the hallways at school now. i also have no strength on the dropped foot, sometimes it just gives out, i think it may be permanent by now though
Nancy Arnone Yeah, I suffer from CMT and I was hoping to see if its beneficial to continue with AFOs, inserts or try weights around the ankle to hold it down some. I'm just sick of tripping. Blessings to you on your journey....
Nancy Arnone I have MS too, but my foot drop was caused by a knee dislocation like that shown at 3:42. I tore several ligaments and the peroneal nerve. Surgery helped only a bit.
Ugh still not what I’m looking for... 😩 I’ll be walking just fine then all the sudden, my foot like stops working, and my foot falls on it side, and I almost fall over. Later my foot hurts soo bad On it’s side, and it’s always my left foot.
Iam 21 year old i am an indian poor english I have an accident which is always hanging on my feet I have been shown in lot hospital and pisiotheropi. I still have no change . Pleas help me .I will send my photo to you for your email .your email please

Try yoga (a GOOD teacher, not some 30years old chick with huge stamina)
They don't mention that foot drop is in many people with MS like myself. Doesn't say what can be done for it.
Nancy Arnone Yeah, I suffer from CMT and I was hoping to see if its beneficial to continue with AFOs, inserts or try weights around the ankle to hold it down some. I'm just sick of tripping. Blessings to you on your journey....
