Is it possible to split the USB-C with some kind of hub to two laptops - one running Teams and One running Zoom, so that both platforms use the same video, mics and sound from the VB1 (not simultaneously 🙂 )
Hi Alex, not that we're aware of. That being said, Logitech has a solution that includes extra microphones. Check it out here headsetadvisor.com/products/logitech-rally-conference-system-w-rally-camera-speaker-and-hubs
Yes you can not with this device but it depends on which video system your using. Email our team info@headsetadvisor.com we can help you find the right device.
Hi dear, Thanks for your useful videos. If my meeting room laptop is connected with the VB1 with its type c cable and my Lap is connected with an HDMI cable to a smart TV (meeting room main Display) will the Laptop pass thru all the content of the VB1 to the TV? So I won’t need the HDMI port of the VB1 to get connected with the TV?
The VB1 video bar has an HDMI input, that's where the HDMI from the Tv must be connected and the Type C cable from the VB1 goes to your laptop, the type C cable transmits video and audio from the laptop to the VB1 who manages the TV through the HDMI connection.
Any reported issues with camera and or speaker/mic losing functionality and only correctable by unplugging usb and reconnecting. It has been happening to me and not sure if it is my pc or the device itself.
Hi Chuck, we haven't heard of any reported issue mentioned. It may be worth checking if any updates are available for you computer and the Bose. You can find the VB1 software downloader here pro.bose.com/en_us/solutions/bose-work/vb1_downloads.html
@@HeadsetAdvisor I was able to update the firmware and I have not had any issues in the past 9 months. Expensive, but works great. I have mine mounted on the wall just above my monitor.
Can this be used as a soundbar hooked up to the TV? Or alternatively connect a Smart TV with Bluetooth connection to videoBar for audio output?
The low light is pretty impressive actually.
Agreed! Thanks for watching
Can you operate this without the software?
Yes, but recommended to download.

Hi Toshko, unfortunately not that we're aware of.
Could you do a 1 on 1 with the Poly Studio, it'll be interesting to see how they fare.
You got it.
Hello, is it possible to add microphones (thru the PC)? I want to add a pair of speakers + a little amp connected to the PC

Hi, what software did you use to capture the video feed from VB-1?
Can I avoid USB connection and use an Ethernet network for audio and video?

Thanks but how can you demo Audio quality on YT. I will hear it from my own speaker. Video quality is goad but the white balance is not.
What mic are you using for most of the video?
We use the Rhode mic here for our videos amzn.to/3BTDQXc
can you connect this to an ipad?
Yes it does have Bluetooth so you can connect a smartphone or tablet for the speakers and microphones only
This device is horrible
