- Few last things to get the RB ready to drop in! Also I review the stainless steel top mount turbo manifold for the RB motors. For a manifold in the $500 price range I think she'll do. In this video you'll be able to see the manifold up close and better than just the photos supplied online. Hope this helps you guys out!

I have the same manifold and to get the exhaust stud on the rear on all I do is pull the manifold slightly off, get the nut started on the stud then push it back flush one it’s has threaded enough
I tried to slip on the manifold with just the stud, and it wouldnt sit flush. The stud wasnt allowing it to.

I have the same manifold on my RB25. It sounds....interesting. I did find out from your video that Twisted Motion (where I bought mine) is selling these Rev9 manifolds as their own and marking them up. They are doing the same with the turbos as well. Unfortunately found this out too late but I am happy with my "REV9" manifold so far.

That’s crazy. I saw it for $695 and realized it looked like same thing! I ended buying this manifold. Sorry bro there was even a cheaper one on the bay for like $353 that also looked the same. They sold out quick too so my next options was the rev for $490

How does the wastegate look as far as clearing the steering linkage? I was looking at this same manifold but wasnt sure if it would clear the steering or if it was designed for a rhd car.
It’s tucked super close to the block so it should clear, I’m going to do a mock up as soon as the engine bay is prepped

Does the car allready run and drive? My build is done. But i used a diffrent style manifold. And mine is boostcreeping. Im looking to buy this one, but i dont want to buy it when u discover boostcreep.

Not yet, I took a small detour when I picked up the white kouki and now sr swapping it lol. It’s almost running so the rb will be running here shortly!

Sorry! Updates coming soon. Another detour this last 2 mo with a bug eye daily I just got done. Wanted to vlog that but just needed it running. I tend to update my ig a little faster if you want to check that out too

So does the stud itself hit the manifold?
Yup, it prevents the manifold from being bolted on flush
@@DriftMagic well instead of using different studs just cut down that one on the side that goes in the engine so they all still match
